Su Xiaoning did not lose her eligibility to be selected as a concubine and thankfully remained in the outer residence. When the news reached the Seventh Prince's residence, Su Qinghe was not as happy as before. He approached Qin Yunyun with a gloomy expression.
"I thought you were smart enough to think things through, but in the end you still can't do anything right! Su Xiaoning still hasn't lost her qualification. What was the point of that pawn you placed there?!"
"Your Highness, please calm down. I...I don't know either..." Qin Yunyun was initially forced to admit that she was behind it, but now that things have failed, she can only swallow her grievances.
Su Qinghe was still very angry, and with a wave of her hand, she smashed a cup on the table.

Qin Yunyun arrived at the outer residence and, disregarding the fact that A-Lian was still recovering from her injuries, slapped A-Lian across the face without saying a word.
"I didn't send you here to freeload. What, have you been living too comfortably lately and forgotten what you're supposed to be doing? Such a good opportunity, and you still say you can't seize it! Useless!"
A-Lian was stunned by the blow. A burning pain spread from her cheek. She covered her swollen cheek, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I've done everything I was supposed to do. What did I fail to do when you asked me to do it? This whole thing wasn't your plan at all. I barely escaped death myself; how could I have thought of all that?"
"You bitch, how dare you talk back?!" Qin Yunyun was so angry that she jumped up and down, raising her hand high, about to slap her again, when suddenly a hand reached out from behind and firmly grabbed her wrist.
"You're really in high spirits, aren't you? Making a scene at the concubine selection venue, aren't you afraid that the Seventh Prince will be even more displeased if he finds out?"
Su Xiaoning glanced coldly at Qin Yunyun, then used a bit of force to fling Qin Yunyun away, who immediately staggered to the side.
Qin Yunyun managed to stand up straight, and when she saw that the person in front of her was Su Xiaoning, an overwhelming hatred surged in her heart.
She stared intently at Su Xiaoning's arm, where she found what she desired most. With this mark, Su Xiaoning would be trampled under her feet...
"What are you looking at?" Su Xiaoning stared at Qin Yunyun with a half-smile, and rolled up her sleeves. "Is this what you want to see? How pathetic, do you just like things you can't get?"
Her blatant sarcasm nearly drove Qin Yunyun mad.
The bright koi carp mark still emitted a faint red glow. This mark had once been on her body, but now it had been snatched away by a little beggar. It was truly infuriating!
Qin Yunyun's eyes were bloodshot with hatred. She pulled out her hairpin and stabbed it at Su Xiaoning, yelling, "You bitch! Die!"
Su Xiaoning was startled and barely managed to dodge the hairpin, but the sharp hairpin still cut her arm. The lunchbox she was carrying fell to the ground with a clatter, scattering food all over the floor.
The koi fish mark was stained with blood, turning an eerie red. Qin Yunyun became inexplicably excited and raised the hairpin to stab it again.
"Enough!"
Ah Lian, who had been huddled in the corner of the bed, suddenly sprang up, knocked the hairpin out of Qin Yunyun's hand, and grabbed her collar hard.
"You can hit me and curse me all you want, but what right do you have to lay a hand on others! Qin Yunyun, I've put up with you for too long, people like you are the ones who deserve to die!"
"You, you actually dared to lay a hand on me! Do you still want to keep your family's restaurant?!" Qin Yunyun felt inexplicably scared, but she still forced herself to maintain her composure.
Without saying a word, A-Lian raised her hands and slapped Qin Yunyun with both hands!
She showed no mercy, and Qin Yunyun was beaten until her mouth bled, her mouth was full of blood, and her hair was disheveled like a madwoman.
"Are you crazy!" Qin Yunyun used all her strength to push Alian away. She didn't care about saying anything more and fled in a sorry state like a stray dog.
Ah Lian didn't chase after her. She slumped to the ground, looking utterly dejected, and clutched her head in despair.
