Chapter 107 Tearing Off the Face



Going out for a meal wasn't a problem, and after thinking about it, Su Xiaoning agreed.

The two sneaked out, and were spotted by Bing Er, who was protecting them. After thinking for a moment, Bing Er reported the matter to Su Qingcai.

Su Qingcai once again put aside his official duties and quietly followed behind Su Xiaoning. He was thinking of giving Su Xiaoning a surprise at the restaurant, and just as he was about to go forward, he saw a familiar person walking towards Su Xiaoning and the others.

"What a coincidence, what brings you out?" Jiang Lin smiled at Su Xiaoning, his face full of gentle smile.

Su Xiaoning blinked and casually said, "It's too stuffy inside the house, so we just came out for a stroll. You can send us a message if you don't want to."

"Of course not." Jiang Lin smiled and shook his head, then asked with great concern, "Is it stuffy in the mansion? I heard that concubines are not free to choose their own wives. Can you accept that?"

"There's no question of accepting or not accepting it." Su Xiaoning smiled nonchalantly. "I chose this path myself, and even if it's not free, I accept it."

Jiang Lin was slightly taken aback, recalling the intimate scene he had seen Su Qingcai and Su Xiaoning last time, and tentatively asked, "Are you sure you won't regret it? Taking this path means your future life will be bound, and you will never have any freedom again."

Su Xiaoning paused, and the smile on her face vanished completely.

Su Qingcai, who was hiding in the shadows, heard all of this. He clenched his fists, feeling a mix of emotions.
