Su Xiaoning and Su Qingcai were strolling leisurely down the street when Ru Xing came out of her restaurant just as they passed by.
Seeing the two familiar figures walking by, Ru Xing rubbed her eyes in disbelief.
When she confirmed that the two close travelers were Su Xiaoning and Su Qingcai, she was immediately furious.
Damn it! She spread rumors earlier, thinking that this would put pressure on them, but she didn't expect it to backfire. Instead, news spread that they were getting married. Fortunately, they don't seem to be married now. But they are still so close, which makes people very jealous!
No, she had to find a way to vent her anger!
Ru Xing had a sudden idea. She walked straight towards Su Xiaoning and took her arm intimately.
"Miss Su, what brings you to town with Young Master Su? It's been a long time since we last met, so why don't we have a simple meal at the restaurant?"
Upon hearing Ru Xing's affectionate tone, Su Xiaoning immediately got goosebumps all over her body.
She wanted to refuse, but Ru Xing didn't give her a chance to speak, dragging her to her family's restaurant. The other women traveling with her had no choice but to follow.
Once inside the restaurant, the group sat at several tables. Ru Xing, still beaming, helped Su Xiaoning into a chair and said with a smile, "I've learned a few signature dishes these past few days. Please wait here while I prepare the food!"
Without waiting for Su Xiaoning's reply, Ruxing went to the kitchen to prepare the food.
Since they had already gone this far, Su Xiaoning didn't feel obligated to refuse. She didn't think much of it and sat down to chat with Su Qingcai.
A short while later, Ru Xing brought out several dishes. The dishes looked quite good, and Su Xiao Ning had a great appetite and was in a very good mood.
The meal was lively and everyone enjoyed themselves, but unexpectedly, a problem arose when it came time to pay the bill.

"Are you trying to dine and dash?" Ru Xing's expression changed instantly. She waved her hand, and the waiters immediately blocked the restaurant's entrance. "If you don't pay today, don't even think about leaving this place!"
"I will only pay what I'm supposed to pay. Don't even think about the three hundred taels!"
Su Xiaoning glared angrily, unwilling to back down.
The two confronted each other openly inside the restaurant, and their argument attracted a crowd of onlookers.
The restaurant owner, who was resting in his room, rushed downstairs to investigate upon hearing the commotion. He greeted Su Xiaoning warmly as soon as he saw her. After learning what had happened, he almost laughed out of anger.
"I told you to learn proper etiquette, and this is the kind of etiquette you've learned? It's unacceptable for a big business to bully its customers, and you don't even understand such a basic principle! Today, I'm making the decision to waive Miss Su's and her companions' meal fee!"
Upon hearing this, Ru Xing trembled and was about to object, but she was frightened back by a gloomy look from the restaurant owner and dared not utter a word.
Su Xiaoning was actually quite happy. With such a good thing, why not accept it quickly?
She readily accepted, and even raised an eyebrow at Ruxing in a provocative manner, which made Ruxing so angry that her face turned red.
The matter was settled, and the group settled into the restaurant. The restaurant owner generously offered to treat them to good wine and food that evening.
Ru Xing was scolded by the restaurant owner and sent back to her room. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and she felt very wronged.
She failed to extort Su Xiaoning and instead lost face in front of Su Qingcai! This won't do. After today, Su Qingcai probably won't want to eat at her restaurant anymore. Then all her beautiful dreams will be ruined.

The restaurant owner kept his word and prepared fine wine and food. He personally cooked several tables of dishes and even brought out his treasured fine wines.
Originally, Su Xiaoning did not intend to drink, but the aroma of the wine wafting from the wine pot whetted her appetite. One cup was not enough, and she drank one cup after another, overjoyed.
Seeing Su Xiaoning's unrestrained attitude, Su Qingcai couldn't stand it. He frowned and wanted to dissuade her, but Su Xiaoning pushed his hand away and hugged the wine pot with an innocent expression on her face.
"I rarely drink, so please leave me alone, okay?"

Su Qingcai was startled by the strange thought that had crossed his mind. He coughed lightly and turned his head away somewhat awkwardly.
