Chapter 203

Chapter 203

“…Grandma?” He paused for a moment, then asked with a hint of mockery.

Then she scoffed lightly, "You naughty girl, you've gone too far! How dare you talk to your master like that?"

"What did I say?" Don't give me that airs!

Tao Tao glared at him and gave a disgruntled snort, though she didn't say the last sentence aloud.

She sneered repeatedly, her grip on her hand remaining firm, feeling her palm grow harder and hotter, and feeling the throbbing pulse; the temperature was almost burning her palm.

Duan Gan breathed heavily, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down on his pale, veiny neck, which, combined with his handsome face, was incredibly alluring.

Just as she was feeling smug, a large hand suddenly slipped under her clothes. Before she could react, her soft breasts were suddenly squeezed tightly, and the force was so strong that she cried out in pain.

"Anyone who dares to be so disrespectful to their teacher deserves to be taught a lesson."

He leaned close to her ear and chuckled, his hot breath spraying onto her already burning ear, giving her goosebumps.

Suddenly, her expression changed drastically, her mood plummeted, and her deceptive almond-shaped eyes instantly turned red, a faint glimmer of water appearing in them.

He was stunned when he saw this, and then the soft little hand was pulled away from his vital spot, and he heard her sobbing and annoyed voice in his ear.

"I'm not playing with you anymore." She reached out and shoved him away abruptly, then turned and walked away with her head down.

She hadn't taken more than two steps when her wrist was grabbed. She lowered her eyes, her eyelids half-closed, concealing the emotions in her eyes, a fleeting glint of smugness.

Duan Gan bent down, holding her calf with one hand and her slender waist with the other, and carried her on his arm like a child, his voice deep and gentle.

"You're allowed to lay a hand on me, but I'm not allowed to fight back. How come I didn't know you were such a domineering person before?"

Afraid of losing her balance, Tao Tao quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. Upon hearing the sound, she retorted without thinking.

"I didn't know you were such an unreasonable person."

He chuckled and said calmly, "How am I someone who can't distinguish right from wrong?"

"Haven't I spoiled you enough? Now you're going to get angry with me over such a complete stranger?"

In his current position, he could only look up at her, his extremely dark eyes reflecting only her image, his expression showing a mixture of helplessness and sadness.

She didn't say anything, enjoying the moment when Lord Duan looked up at her.

After a while, she noticed that his brows were furrowed with more and more anger and his face was turning gloomy, so she quickly spoke up to coax him, "I'm not angry with you, it's just that the way you looked just now scared me a little."

Hearing her say that, his expression didn't improve much either. No one wants to see their beloved always showing fear towards them.

He enjoyed seeing her pitifully plead for his help, because he found it cute, and more importantly, because he clearly sensed that she needed him.

He admitted that he had just meant to scare her, since she was willing to go to this male prostitute again and again, relying on her looks to please him.

He also knew she was attracted to beautiful women. Several times he had seen her gaze infatuated with his face, which he had previously paid little attention to, and sometimes he would even unconsciously use this to seduce her.

However, he felt that this male prostitute was not even slightly better than him, so why wouldn't she take the initiative to see him? He had sent so many flowers, but she hadn't even replied.

However, considering that she personally sewed the purse for him, he'll let it go.

"Oh dear, you smell really bad. Why don't you change your clothes first?" Tao Tao tried to change the subject and not dwell on the issue.

"You haven't answered my earlier questions yet. Have you always wanted to see him? Why did you go to Chu Feng Pavilion? Do you like him?!"

Duan Gan frowned, his handsome face slightly distorted by jealousy, and a hint of insecurity lurked deep in his gloomy eyes.

Her relentless questioning made her look, at first glance, somewhat like a jealous wife abandoned in the backyard, questioning her husband about whether he had changed his mind.

After a moment of surprise, Tao Tao burst out laughing. Hearing the clearly mocking laughter, his face darkened even more, turning so gloomy it seemed as if thick ink could drip from it.

Those phoenix eyes stared intently at her, their rims slightly red, and even glistening with tears.

She was startled when she saw this, and quickly cupped his face in her hands to coax him, "I don't like him. He's not as good-looking as you. How could I like him? You're the one I like the most."

"You mean you'd like him if he were good-looking, right? Or do you mean you'd like anyone who's better looking than me?"

How is he any different from those fickle and heartless men?

Hearing this, she felt even more helpless. She covered her eyes with her hand and sighed silently, thinking to herself, "Shouldn't he have paid attention to the last sentence?"

"Oh, you idiot, why do you keep bringing up other people? They're all dead now. I like you, it's you."

After saying that, she leaned over and kissed his soft, red lips with a soft smack.

He was stunned, staring blankly at her, her sweet words echoing in his mind.

My heart felt like it had drunk a super sweet sugar water, bubbling with sweetness. Not only my ear tips, but even my face flushed slightly.

He was barely satisfied with her answer, and holding her in the same position, he turned and walked forward.

When Tao Tao saw him move, she quickly hugged his neck. Although he might make her fall, she was still a little afraid of losing her balance.

Where are you taking me?

"Oh, right, flowers! Take the flowers with you, I picked them out carefully."

She quickly patted his broad shoulder, signaling him not to drop the flowers.

Upon hearing this, Duan Gan turned to look at the large bouquet of flowers that had fallen to the ground. He walked over, squatted down, picked up the flowers, and held them in his hand. As a result, the flowers fell to the ground, and many petals fell off, but it didn't matter.

"Give it to me, I'll take it."

Tao Tao reached out to take it, but he dodged it.

"Wasn't it a gift for me?"

"It's a gift for you, but it's inconvenient for you to take it."

He chuckled, said nothing more, and quickly went to the door. He kicked it open and then hooked it shut with his heel.

He placed her on the soft couch, then tucked the flowers in his hand into her arms. He then walked behind the screen. As she watched his back, she noticed that there was a bathing pool shrouded in mist behind him.

Tao Tao looked at the room again. It wasn't his original bedroom. This room must have been used specifically for bathing.

Duan Gan stood behind the screen, loosening his belt as he looked at the semi-transparent embroidered silk screen, where he could vaguely see a figure sitting on a soft couch, curiously looking around.
