What secrets are hidden on your senior's phone?
Seeing him staring at his phone, Su Ping quickly got up, went over, and took his hand.
Are you going to be busy later?
Hearing her say that, Yun Qi, who had managed to squeeze out two hours to spend with her today, silently took out his phone and sent a message to his assistant, asking him to reschedule the meeting for early tomorrow morning.
After sending the message, he smiled and said, "No rush, my whole afternoon is yours."
This was a bit ambiguous. Su Ping looked around and noticed that the saleswoman not far away was looking down, trying hard to suppress her laughter.
That kid definitely said that on purpose.
Su Ping stepped on the back of his foot, and Yun Qi cried out in pain, but he was smiling.
"Senior, you're so cruel. If you cripple me, you'll have to take care of me from now on."
Su Ping rolled her eyes and said bluntly, "You wish! Wouldn't it be better if I just changed to someone else?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Yun Qi covered her mouth, his expression unpleasant, clearly unhappy.
"Senior, I don't like you saying things like that. You can only be mine."
Finally, he added, "Don't even think about climbing over the wall. If that day ever comes, I'll personally break your legs."
Hearing his sinister tone, Su Ping shrank back and quickly shook her head.
Yun Qi's expression softened, and he put his arm around her waist again as they walked downstairs.
"Senior, I opened a noodle shop and I need a female owner."
It had nothing to do with the Yun family; it was a small noodle shop he opened with his own savings, under her name.
"What, since no one else wants to be your boss's wife, you've come up with the idea of hitting on me?"
Su Ping patted his hand and heard him laugh.
"How could that be? I'm very picky. Only my senior meets my standards."
"You'd better be."
The noodle shop was some distance away. Su Ping was led into the car by him, and after about half an hour's drive, they stopped at an intersection near the sea.
"This place is really nice."
Enjoy the sea breeze, and when you're tired, there's a small hut where you can go in and have a bowl of noodles.
The shop is decorated in a cozy style. The wind chimes outside are made of seashells and other marine materials. They tinkle when the wind blows, and listening to them inexplicably improves your mood.
Yun Qi asked Su Ping to sit under the parasol and wait for him for a while. Then he went back to his car, rummaged around for a bit, and took out a set of keys.
"What are you doing?"
Su Ping looked at the key placed in her palm and asked.
Yun Qi pulled her to her feet, then pointed to the door and said to her, "Open it and you'll see."
Su Ping walked over and opened the door. Inside, there were four small tables, enough for one person to manage the work.
Behind the bar is the kitchen, which is hidden by a curtain, but it looks quite proper.
"This place isn't officially open yet, but we do have some basic ingredients. Senior, why don't you sit over there for a bit?"
Su Ping was led to a table by the window and sat down. Looking out the window, one could see the sea.
The waves crashed against the shore, making a series of sounds, and occasionally the cries of seagulls could be heard.
Life feels slower now, it's very pleasant.
Su Ping smelled the scent of the summer sea breeze and saw Yun Qi lift the curtain and walk into the kitchen.
Soon after, a sound came from inside, like someone kneading dough?
Su Ping craned her neck to look in that direction, but the curtain blocked her view, so she couldn't see anything at all.
She rested her chin on her hand, looking at the sea outside, feeling a little bored. As she looked, her eyelids grew heavy.
She was probably not sleeping well these past few days, because she was woken up by a delicious aroma.
When I opened my eyes, I saw a steaming bowl of beef noodles in front of me.
The taste seems somewhat familiar, a bit like...
Su Ping sniffed, and just as she was about to speak, she heard Yun Qi pull out the chair opposite her and sit down.
"Yes, try it! I specially learned some cooking skills from Uncle Zhang, isn't it good?"
Su Ping picked up her chopsticks, took a bite, shook her head, and pretended to be disgusted: "There aren't as many slices of beef on top as Uncle Zhang put in."
When Yun Qi saw her shake her head, he was worried that the taste wasn't to her liking. But after hearing the next sentence, he realized that she was teasing him on purpose, so he pretended to snatch her bowl.
"If it doesn't taste good, then don't eat it."
Su Ping quickly protected it; these freshly pulled noodles were definitely different, they were so chewy.
Yun Qi watched as her face was almost buried in the bowl, and she didn't lift it even once. Suddenly, he felt that this kind of atmosphere was quite nice, a simple happiness.
Su Ping had almost finished eating most of her bowl of noodles when she noticed that Yun Qi across from her hadn't touched his chopsticks yet, and was just looking at her. She couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to eat? It's no fun eating alone. You should eat quickly, or it won't taste the same later."
Yun Qi snapped out of his daze, smiled, nodded, and began to eat.
The cozy time passed quickly, and soon the sun was setting on the beach, so it was almost time for the two of them to head back.
Su Ping looked at Yun Qi washing the dishes and wanted to go over to help, but he stopped her.
Then his gaze fell on her face, and after a few seconds, he brought his face closer.
Should I ask her to wipe my sweat? I'm not sweating at all.
Looking at his slightly red ear tips, is he that hot?
Su Ping glanced at the temperature of the air conditioner on the wall: 24°C, the air conditioning was quite strong.
Seeing that she really didn't understand what he meant, Yun Qi sighed and said, "Senior, I've been making noodles and washing dishes, don't I deserve any reward?"
So that's what it meant!
Su Ping stood on tiptoe and planted a kiss on his cheek.
The soft, warm touch made Yun Qi's heart tremble. He realized he shouldn't have made such a careless remark, and now he seemed to be losing control.
"Senior, what should I do with you?"
Before Su Ping could understand what he was saying, she saw Yun Qi take off his gloves, wipe his hands with a paper towel, then put one arm around her waist and, with a little force, lift her up onto the bar.
The sudden feeling of emptiness almost made Su Ping cry out, and then she saw Yun Qiwei kiss her with his eyes closed.
Like fish that have been dry for a long time finding water, they conquer cities and are reluctant to part.
Before long, Su Ping felt her head buzzing and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.
This action seemed to give him great encouragement, and Yun Qi hugged her even tighter, forcing her to tilt her head back and deepening the kiss.
A few people nearby caught a glimpse of this scene through a window and quickened their pace to avert their gaze.
But children don't understand all that, and innocently ask, "Mommy, what are my brother and sister doing up there...?"
Before she could finish speaking, an adult covered her mouth and walked away.
Upon hearing those words, Su Ping immediately tensed up.
Noticing her change in mood, Yun Qi slowly slid his hand down her spine from her lower back, and Su Ping immediately felt her legs go weak.
She was only able to steady herself by putting her arms around Yun Qi's neck.
