Chapter 121 The first time someone told him he could feel pain.

By the time filming wrapped, it was almost dawn. Tu Hengchuan rubbed his sore eyes, yawned, and felt a bit more refreshed.

"Director, is everything alright?"

Tu Hengchuan walked up to the director, who was staring at the camera, and asked a question.

Upon hearing this, the director waved to him, indicating that he could go and rest.

Tu Hengchuan quickly changed his clothes and wig, and before he even had time to remove his makeup, he called Su Ping to ask where she was.

He couldn't wait to see her.

However, after making several calls, the phone remained switched off.

Tu Hengchuan glanced at the time; it was only 4:30 a.m., so they were probably still asleep.

Thinking of this, he belatedly put his phone back in his pocket and patted his face, which was flushed from excitement.

He used to dislike this kind of character when he was reading the script for the movie, but now he's acting like a clueless kid.

Song Yifei, who chased after him to bring him a coat, was dumbfounded when she saw him slapping himself repeatedly.

Men with a love-struck mind are terrifying; they even harm themselves.

Although Chuan Ge is handsome and outstanding, she has to give Ping Ping a good talking-to just because of his self-harm.

Su Ping was yawning and could barely walk, so he was carried down the mountain by Tie Niu, who was half-carrying and half-lifting him.

Unfortunately, he played Candy Crush on his phone all night, which caused his phone to run out of battery and shut down, so he can't even listen to music anymore.

"I can't take it anymore, let me sleep for a while."

Su Ping clung to the tree, refusing to let go. When she realized that Tie Niu was reaching out to pull her, she immediately bit the back of his hand as a threat.

Tie Niu was a little anxious. He remembered that his sister didn't like to be in the sun, and the sun was about to come out.

Looking at Su Ping, who had already sat down hugging the tree, an idea suddenly popped into his mind.

So, while Su Ping was half asleep, she suddenly felt herself lifted into the air and land on a broad, sturdy back.

Startled, she immediately opened her eyes, only to be met with Tie Niu's profile, so smooth that you couldn't see any pores.

With her legs draped over his forearm, swaying in the air, he actually carried her on his back?

"Sister, don't move around. We'll be at the bottom of the mountain soon."

With those words, Su Ping felt reassured and lay down on his back to sleep.

When she realized something was wrong, her body suddenly lurched forward; it felt like she was losing weight!

Can anyone tell her why she was sleeping comfortably on the back of the iron ox one second ago, but when she opened her eyes she found herself suspended in mid-air?

She said, "Don't go down the mountain so early, you can't see the road very well."

Su Ping turned her head and glanced at her feet. It was pitch black, and she had no idea how deep it was. What if she fell?

She swallowed hard and gripped Tie Niu's hand even tighter: "You better not slip, or I'll die with my eyes wide open!"

Tie Niu felt guilty. He had been thinking of taking a shortcut to get down the mountain faster, but he had lost his footing. Although he managed to grab a tree stump to steady himself, Su Ping, who was caught off guard, was thrown off his back.

"Don't be afraid, sister, I'll pull you up."

The rough stones rubbed against the skin on his arm. Tie Niu gritted his teeth, holding the tree stump tightly with one hand, putting all his strength into the hand that was holding Su Ping.

Su Ping felt her body gradually moving upwards, and her heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally began to settle down.

Finally, with a burst of strength, Su Ping lunged upwards and landed in Tie Niu's arms.

Hearing his strong, pounding heartbeat, Su Ping looked up.

Then they heard his cheerful voice from above: "Sister, don't be afraid, it's alright now."

It would be strange if nothing happened.

It was already daylight. Su Ping looked at his hand, which was rubbed raw and bloody, hanging by his side, and got off him.

Does your hand hurt?

Su Ping felt a little guilty, thinking that the rubbing must have been from when he was being pulled up. If he hadn't been carried away, this might not have happened.

Tie Niu seemed to only then notice the wound on his hand, and looked up at her somewhat bewilderedly: "Should I be in pain?"

What kind of talk is that?

Su Ping tapped his head and said, "You're a human being too. You have senses, so how come you don't feel pain?"

Upon hearing her words, a look of confusion flashed in Tie Niu's eyes.

So he can feel pain too.

Suddenly, an image flashed through his mind, moving so fast that he couldn't grasp it. When he tried to delve into it, his head began to spin.

"What's wrong?"

Seeing this, Su Ping reached out and pulled him up.

Tie Niu shook his head to shake off the discomfort, but he didn't let go of Su Ping's hand.

"Let's go home, sister."

Seeing that he wanted to carry her on his back again, Su Ping quickly refused.

Putting aside the fact that her sleepiness had been scared away by what had just happened, she also had no right to ask him to continue carrying her while his arm was still injured.

The descent was quick; the two chatted and laughed as they reached the foot of the mountain.

Su Ping was startled to see Tie Niu sitting silently in the passenger seat since getting in the car.

Did he remember something after what just happened?

So she tentatively asked, "Tie Niu, have you remembered something, like who you are?"

Under her expectant gaze, Tie Niu shook his head.

"I'm just hungry."

After saying that, she continued, "Sister, when are we going to eat? I'm so hungry."

All you ever do is eat!

Su Ping withdrew her gaze irritably and looked at his hands, which he was carefully placing on her lap to avoid getting the car dirty. She then changed her destination to a nearby hospital.

After getting off the bus, Tie Niu saw that the destination was a hospital and was clearly resistant. Last time he was brought in while unconscious, but this time he was awake, so his resistance was obvious.

"Sister, what are we doing at the hospital?"

Su Ping grabbed his hand and pointed to his other injured hand, saying, "You're injured, you need to clean and bandage it, otherwise it will get infected."

Tie Niu reluctantly followed her into the hospital.

The nurses, who were initially exhausted, perked up immediately upon seeing Tie Niu's face. After discussing for a while, a young nurse, her face slightly flushed, came over to clean his wound.

"Does it hurt?"

The nurse gently asked him questions while cleaning him, her voice so tender that Su Ping was almost smitten. But Tie Niu seriously complained that she was too slow.

"Can you hurry up? I need to go get breakfast."

The nurse's eyes reddened, and she silently began to clean him up.

Seeing the nurse turn away sadly after the bandage was finished, Su Ping gave Tie Niu a disappointed look.

Okay, okay, serves you right for being single!

Tie Niu had no idea what he had done wrong before being glared at, and he felt extremely wronged.
