Chapter 163 Little thing, quite good at playing hard to get.



Just as he took two more steps forward and could see her face, a pair of hands came out from behind Su Ping and grabbed her wrists tightly.

Su Ping was startled and turned around to find herself facing a dark, gaping mouth.

It was the servant who brought the quilt to her room that night.

The man grabbed her wrist and, without saying a word, dragged her to the other side.

Su Ping was forced to run away with her.

She walked quickly, as if there was something frightening behind her.

She didn't let go of Su Ping until they reached the other side.

Su Ping looked at her with some confusion and noticed that she was pale and looked like she was still in shock.

After catching her breath, the woman pointed to the spot where the two had just left and shook her head frantically.

Su Ping understood what she meant and asked tentatively.

"You mean I shouldn't go to that place again?"

The woman nodded, pointed towards the guest room, and placed her hands together on one side of her face, closing her eyes, signaling her to go back to her room and rest.

After all that commotion, Su Ping was wide awake.

But the woman didn't seem like a bad person, so it could only be that the Lu family had forbidden people from getting close to that place.

Su Ping smiled kindly at her, thanked her, and turned to go back to her room.

Her red string is still inside, but tonight is not a good time.

She planned to try and get information out of Lu Zhiyan when it got light to find out what really happened.

On the other side, the man listened as the woman outside the door ran away, and gave a bitter smile.

At her feet, the black cat meowed and ran into the house to retrieve the red rope.
