Did he figure something out?
Su Ping stared at the scene on the screen and subconsciously held her breath.
But the next second, she saw the man simply take off his headphones, bend down, and pick up a piece of paper from the ground.
"Is this yours?"
Tu Hengchuan glanced down and vaguely saw the words "Let's meet up tonight" on it, along with some explicit and vulgar images.
His face immediately darkened; how could such a thing possibly be his?
"No, you can keep it yourself."
After he finished speaking, he went to press the elevator button on the wall, but the man stopped him again.
Hearing the elevator alarm, the man glanced at Tu Hengchuan with an indifferent expression. Why did the voice sound so familiar?
Before he could even get a good look at those eyes, Tu Hengchuan impatiently pushed him out of the elevator: "Excuse me, we have something urgent to attend to."
The man stared blankly at the closed elevator doors for a moment, then belatedly remembered where he had heard that sound before.
Isn't that the voice of the actor his wife recently fell for?
Because of that TV series, his wife fell madly in love with that man and even said she wanted to break up with him!
The man stomped his foot in frustration. He should have followed the man to see which floor he was on!
After the elevator doors closed, Tu Hengchuan breathed a sigh of relief, only to see the original owner of the body beside him sobbing softly.
It sounds awful.
Why are you crying?
Upon hearing his voice, the original owner paused for a moment, then ignored him.
This person is both neurotic and domineering; she's about to have her body taken away, and he won't even let her cry beforehand.
The thought that she hadn't even seen her brother Yichen one last time, nor had she had a chance to say a proper goodbye to him, made her cry even louder.
Fearing that the elevator might stop midway and attract attention, Tu Hengchuan quickly whispered a threat: "Stop crying."
After I finished speaking, I didn't hear her cry anymore. Instead, she suddenly looked up and asked tentatively.
Can I make a phone call?
"Don't worry, I won't say anything else, I just want to say goodbye."
As soon as he finished speaking, the elevator doors opened with a "ding," and Tu Hengchuan glanced at her pleading eyes, grabbed her hand, and walked out.
Suddenly, for some unknown reason, the original owner broke free from his restraints.
What are you going to do?
Tu Hengchuan coldly watched her lose control of her emotions and asked in a deep voice.
"If you don't let me make this call today, I'll kill myself right here! Even if I'm dead, she can forget about this body!"
Without waiting for Tu Hengchuan to speak, he slammed his head against the wall.
Su Ping, who was watching this scene, suddenly felt a suction force, and then felt a sharp pain in her forehead.
"Ouch, that hurts, damn it..."
Damn system, why should the original owner have to suffer the pain of hitting the wall?!
Before fainting, Su Ping mentally cursed the system and the original owner of the body.
Tu Hengchuan looked at the unconscious Su Ping, walked over with some disdain, and nudged her arm with his shoe.
"Stop pretending, no one will die from this kind of collision."
After waiting for two seconds without any movement, he squatted down and brushed the hair away from her face.
He just got bumped and he passed out like that?
His face immediately turned sour. He sighed and then bent down to pick her up.
When I returned to my room, I found that the master had already left.
Tu Hengchuan placed Su Ping on the sofa, searched the room, and couldn't believe that Su Ping had just abandoned him like that.
He doesn't even know if Pingping will ever come back, and he's just gone like this?!
Tu Hengchuan forced himself to calm down and took out his phone to call the master.
The call was disconnected as soon as it connected.
Not again?
Tu Hengchuan was about to go crazy when, a second later, WeChat showed that the master had sent him a message.
"I have something to take care of, I'll come over later."
After listening to the audio, Tu Hengchuan breathed a sigh of relief.
Thankfully, it's not like last time where I deleted and blocked him.
Actually, Su Ping had already woken up when he put her on the sofa, but she hadn't opened her eyes yet.
She didn't know how to face Tu Hengchuan now—whether to pretend she was the original owner of the body, or to simply stop pretending altogether.
Just as she was thinking, she suddenly felt Tu Hengchuan squat down in front of her, and then his slightly cool fingers touched her face.
"Pingping, if you never come back, I will preserve this body for you."
That sounds a bit strange.
Su Ping felt a little uncomfortable, and just then Tu Hengchuan's fingers touched her eyelashes, causing her to tremble involuntarily.
Suddenly, she felt as if the air around her had frozen.
"Why didn't you open your eyes when you were awake?"
Tu Hengchuan snorted and looked at her coldly.
Su Ping felt a little embarrassed and could only pretend to have just woken up, rubbing her aching forehead as she sat up from the sofa.
"Why does my head hurt so much..."
The familiar tone and feeling caused Tu Hengchuan's face to flash with disbelief before he happily reached out and hugged her.
"That's great, Pingping! I knew you'd come back!"
The next second, Su Ping pushed him away in fright and asked defensively, "Who are you?"
Tu Hengchuan's expression became somewhat blank because of those three words.
Pingping is back, but she doesn't seem to remember who he is?
Thinking of this possibility, he tried to appear calm and asked.
"Pingping, do you remember who I am?"
Su Ping looked at his cautious, tentative words and shook her head in confusion.
If it weren't for the inward curses she was making, Calabash Brothers would have thought she had really lost her memory.
The next second, Tu Hengchuan, his eyes red, stepped forward and hugged her tightly.
"It's alright, Pingping. As long as you're back, that's all that matters. Even if you don't remember who I am, we have plenty of time. I'll help you remember slowly."
He was really scared just now; he thought his Pingping was really gone forever.
Although it was the same body, the feeling it gave him was different.
The current Pingping reminds him of the Pingping he knows.
Su Ping struggled uncomfortably for a moment and said, "I don't think I remember a lot of things..."
After hearing what she said, Tu Hengchuan released her, sat down beside her, and said softly.
"It's okay, I can tell you slowly."
After finishing his story, Tu Hengchuan recounted how the two of them met and fell in love, without mentioning the other two men at all.
After Tu Hengchuan finished speaking, he looked expectantly at Su Ping, who had a blank expression, and asked, "Pingping, have you remembered anything?"
Su Ping shook her head again, a smile almost bursting from her lips, but she held it back.
Tu Hengchuan is indeed a good actor; he said he was deeply in love with him and would marry no one but him in this life.
