Chapter 308 Big Brother, you'll never get a wife this way.

Remembering that Su Ping had once pretended to be an innocent rabbit to hurt others, Xu Yichen became wary and looked at her with suspicion, asking her a question.

"Xiaoping, what's wrong with you right now..."

Su Ping stiffened as she held the flowers, realizing that her current behavior was quite different from her previous self. She chuckled awkwardly and explained.

"I might have damaged my brain; I don't remember anything now."

Upon hearing this, Xu Yichen and Song Yifei exchanged a glance, then frowned and stared at Su Ping for a long time, trying to discern something from her expression.

Isn't this kind of amnesia trope only in TV dramas? How could it be such a coincidence that it's hard to doubt that she didn't do it on purpose?

Before Su Ping could speak, Aunt Mei had already taken out the test report and repeated what the doctor had just said.

Xu Yichen looked at the doctor's diagnosis, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper. Could it be that he really had amnesia?

Su Ping was also a little helpless. She could tell that Xu Yichen still didn't quite believe what she was saying, but she really couldn't remember anything, including why she had liked him before.

Just then, a tall, slender figure suddenly ran in from outside the door; those legs were truly long.

handsome guy?

Looking at the boy who appeared next to Song Yifei, Su Ping suddenly felt that the world had brightened up.

The boy had gray-brown hair, fair skin, and full, slightly pink lips that looked very approachable.

However, the way he was looking at me now didn't seem very friendly.

What's going on? Did he find out that his unrequited love for another boy led him to attempt suicide...?

The more Su Ping thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed; she was simply a genius!

Just as she was looking down at a 45-degree angle, anticipating his approach, she saw him turn around, grab Song Yifei's wrist, pull her behind him, and then look at Xu Yichen with hostility.

"Don't you know she hates your sister? How dare you bring her here?"

Wait! What's going on now?

Su Ping's expectant expression froze as she looked up in disbelief at the scene of two men vying for one woman.

Xu Yichen felt a bit helpless about his younger brother Song Yifei and could only explain, "Xiao Qi, it's not what you think."

The boy snorted coldly, standing motionless in front of Song Yifei, seemingly unwilling to listen to him.

"Now that your childhood sweetheart is awake, you two should have a good time together. I'll take my sister home first."

Upon seeing this, Xu Yichen opened his mouth, but found himself speechless.

Song Yifei knew that her younger brother was also concerned about her, so she patted his hand that was holding her wrist with a hint of reproach, her tone slightly scolding.

"Xiao Qi!"

She was fine when she didn't speak, but the boy's anger intensified as soon as she spoke, and he retorted defiantly.

"Sister, what's so good about him? He doesn't respect you at all. He can't let go of his childhood sweetheart, yet he treats you like this!"

Song Yifei glanced between Xu Yichen and Su Ping, then fell silent.

Su Ping finally understood. She secretly gave the boy a thumbs up, then looked at Xu Yichen with a critical gaze.

He doesn't seem like a scumbag at all. Is he just too good at pretending?

After the boy finished speaking, he took Song Yifei's hand and left. Apart from that one glance at the beginning, he never gave Su Ping a second look.

Seeing this, Xu Yichen subconsciously wanted to turn around and chase after her, but when he thought of Su Ping staring at him intently from the bed, he hesitated for a moment and then stopped.

When Su Ping saw that he had stopped again, her impression of him worsened.

He was just saying he liked that girl, but now that she's run away, why isn't he chasing after her and instead staying here with her?

"Xiaoping, I really only see you as a younger sister. If my previous actions caused you to misunderstand, I apologize."

"Please don't make things difficult for Yifei anymore, okay?"

His tone was sincere; although he was clearly saying no, the emotion in his eyes gave people a feeling of deep affection.

Su Ping suddenly laughed, so he stayed just to say that?

Her smile was somewhat abrupt, and for a moment Aunt Mei and Xu Yichen's eyes were both on her face.

The two of them simultaneously came to the same conclusion: Su Ping had indeed broken her head this time.

"Brother, you'll never get a wife this way."

Su Ping sighed, walked over and patted Xu Yichen on the shoulder.

Although she didn't know how much she used to like the boy in front of her, she had indeed forgotten everything now, so she decided to treat it as a new beginning.

Moreover, she had a feeling that the boy who had just pulled Song Yifei away was not someone to be trifled with.

She couldn't quite explain why she felt this way, but she couldn't help feeling nervous when his gaze fell on her.

This was a fear and apprehension ingrained in her very being. Had she offended that boy before?

Su Ping shrugged in fear, deciding that it would be better for her to avoid that boy in the future.

In the end, Xu Yichen was given a bouquet of flowers by Su Ping without really understanding what was going on, and went to pursue Song Yifei.

After lying in the hospital for two days, Su Ping ate well, except for the occasional sudden awakening from a dream, when she would find her eyes wet and feel a little empty inside.

She seemed to have really forgotten something important, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't remember it.

After lying in bed for two more days, the doctor said I could be discharged and that I could contact people I knew before to see if it would stimulate my brain to recover my memories.

On the day of her discharge, Su Ping had just stepped out of the hospital building when a middle-aged man rushed over from a distance and hugged her tightly.

"Pingping, my darling daughter, are you alright?"

Upon hearing the middle-aged man say those words, Su Ping ultimately didn't utter the words "help" or "indecent assault."

The man was wearing a suit and looked travel-worn, as if he had just come from somewhere.

Seeing that Su Ping didn't make a move, Su Zhinan suddenly remembered that his daughter didn't really like him.

But didn't Aunt Mei say she didn't remember anything or anyone from the past? Does this mean that even with amnesia, her daughter still resents her and doesn't like her?

Su Zhinan gave a bitter smile to himself, pretended to be relaxed as he released Su Ping, and then opened his mouth after maintaining a certain distance from her, unsure of what to say to alleviate his current helplessness.

Looking at Su Zhinan's cautious manner, Su Ping suddenly felt a lump in her throat.

It seems this middle-aged man is her father, but why is he so cautious, as if he's afraid of upsetting her?

Did she have a bad relationship with her father before?

For some reason, Su Ping suddenly felt a little uncomfortable, perhaps due to the influence of blood ties. Su Ping took two steps forward and gently took Su Zhinan's arm.

"Dad, I'm okay."
