Shen Jiayu didn't speak, he just looked at her, his face expressionless.
Su Ping wasn't embarrassed. Just as she was about to walk past him toward the elevator, she heard Shen Jiayu speak from behind her.
No, I'm waiting for you.
Su Ping stopped in her tracks, turned her head in disbelief, and found that Shen Jiayu had also turned his head to look at her.
He had already taken off his suit jacket and placed it inside the private room; he was now only wearing a shirt.
He has a great physique, with long legs under his suit trousers, broad shoulders and a narrow waist; he looks like a walking clothes hanger just by standing there.
So here's the question: what are we waiting for her for?
Su Ping blinked, wondering if she was hallucinating, pointed to herself and gave him a questioning look.
Looking at the expression on her face, Shen Jiayu felt inexplicably annoyed. If he hadn't called her back just now, was she planning to leave like that?
Where is she going so late? Is she going to meet that boy from last time?
Once the thought popped into his head, he uncontrollably called out to her.
But when faced with her puzzled and questioning gaze, he opened his mouth, only to find himself at a loss for words.
Could it be that I really misheard?
Seeing that he remained silent for a while, Su Ping smiled awkwardly, looked away, and turned to pretend nothing had happened and continue walking towards the elevator.
But the next second, Shen Jiayu grabbed his arm.
"Mr. Shen, is there something you need?"
It seemed that Shen Jiayu really was talking to her just now. After confirming that she hadn't misheard, Su Ping asked a question.
Hearing her address him as "President Shen" repeatedly, Shen Jiayu subconsciously frowned.
Why did he find the name unpleasant to hear?
Looking at his vacant expression, Su Ping suddenly had an idea.
The woman he brought today was also wearing a black dress. Could he be drunk and have mistaken her for someone else?
Thinking of this, she waved her hand in front of him and said, "Mr. Shen, do you know who I am?"
"I know."
Shen Jiayu reached out and grabbed the hand she extended in front of him.
Her fingers were very soft, as if they had no bones, and they felt very comfortable to hold.
Holding his hand like that, Su Ping became even more certain that he was drunk. She struggled a little and pulled her hand away from his.
Realizing that his actions were somewhat abrupt, Shen Jiayu let go of her hand, then suddenly remembered what Si Lan had told him, and blurted it out.
"It wasn't me, it was Silan."
Isn't Silan his nephew? What business is it of his?
Upon hearing this cryptic remark, Su Ping frowned instinctively and asked, "What's wrong with Si Lan?"
When he spoke again, Shen Jiayu's voice sounded noticeably more confident.
“Silan’s parents passed away when he was very young, and he has been raised by me for the past few years.”
"He asked me to ask you for a favor."
Su Ping felt that something was off, but the little girl from last time was indeed quite cute, and her way of speaking was endearing.
Seeing that she didn't speak, Shen Jiayu continued, "He wants you to come to the Shen family tomorrow to help him complete the task assigned by the teacher."
Shen Jiayu felt a little embarrassed to say it, but he said it anyway.
He wasn't lying anyway; Shen Silan did say those words.
Su Ping was about to refuse, but then seemed to remember something and nodded in agreement.
That's good. She was just worried about not having a chance to get close to him. If she could spend more time with him, maybe she could remember something.
You agreed so quickly?
Shen Jiayu was already thinking about what he would say if she refused him, but he didn't expect her to agree so readily.
The two stared at each other, until Su Ping finally broke the silence.
"Mr. Shen, is there anything else?"
Shen Jiayu opened his mouth, actually wanting to say that he didn't like the nickname, but in the end he didn't say it.
Su Ping turned and entered the elevator. She suddenly realized that she would be quite busy for the next few days.
I promised Shen Silan I'd go to the Shen family tomorrow, but I don't know if Sister Yifei has agreed to meet her yet. I also have to participate in an advertisement shoot next week.
She felt uneasy for a day if she couldn't remember those lost memories, always feeling that one day she would really become like the person in her dreams.
Ren Su watched as Shen Jiayu hadn't returned for several minutes and suddenly realized this was the perfect opportunity for her to slip away.
Just as she got up, grabbed her bag, and prepared to leave, she saw Shen Jiayu walk in from outside.
Their eyes met, and Ren Su awkwardly stopped in her tracks.
Shen Jiayu was feeling extremely annoyed when he saw Ren Su in her black dress, but another face flashed through his mind.
Where are you going?
Shen Jiayu slowly walked up to her and asked that question.
Although he was smiling, Ren Su couldn't help but shudder at the sight of him.
What happened? He seemed perfectly normal when he went out.
How did it turn out like this after I came back from outside?
Could it be that she just saw someone else in the restroom and is feeling inferior?
As Ren Su pondered this, her gaze slowly drifted downwards, and she couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Immediately, everyone's attention turned to them.
Shen Jiayu's expression became even uglier, as if he was about to explode at any moment.
At the crucial moment, Ren Su stretched out her hands and clapped twice.
"President Shen, I just saw you and stood up to applaud and welcome you back."
