Hearing his soft chuckle, the woman looked up and found his gaze openly scrutinizing her body.
Suddenly feeling embarrassed and annoyed, she grabbed another pillow and threw it at him: "What are you looking at!"
Lu Zhiyan held the pillow in his hand and gently pulled it, causing the woman's body to lunge uncontrollably towards him.
With just one movement, the woman lost her strength and trembled slightly in his hand.
"You love me, and I can't bear to part with your body. If you marry my brother and he really can't give you happiness, perhaps we can..."
These words were like a bucket of cold water poured over a woman who was being controlled by lust, chilling her to the bone.
Seeing that it was getting late, Lu Zhiyan straightened his collar, pushed the woman onto the bed, and strode out of the room.
The door wasn't even closed; the woman lay on the bed, tears streaming silently down her face.
She hated herself for loving the wrong person and believing his sweet words and flattery.
Lu Zhiyan went straight out of the elevator and had just stepped down the hotel steps when she saw a familiar car parked on the side of the road.
In the car, when the driver saw Lu Zhiyan approaching, he got out of the car somewhat nervously and opened the door for him.
He breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Lu Zhiyan get into the car without saying a word. Just as he got into the car and was about to start the engine, he heard Lu Zhiyan's cold voice behind him.
"Old Zhang."
The driver's shoulders trembled slightly, as if he were sitting on pins and needles.
Lu Zhiyan's eyes were sinister, but he smiled and said, "You know I hate disloyal dogs."
Knowing he was referring to what happened last night, Old Zhang quickly turned around and said, "Young Master, Madam noticed something was wrong and called me directly, but don't worry, I didn't tell her about you."
"Furthermore, I copied the video footage of you entering and leaving the hotel last night and then deleted it. This is the only copy."
As if to make amends, Old Zhang took a USB drive out of his pocket and handed it to him.
Lu Zhiyan reached out and took it, and her anger subsided somewhat.
"Let's go back to the old house; Mother is still waiting for us."
Holding the USB drive in her hand, Lu Zhiyan leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes to rest.
After hearing his mother say that she had taken his twin brother back to the Lu family, he never went back again.
