Chapter 467 Again!

As his words fell, as if parting a fog, Su Ping felt his face gradually become clearer.

Seeing that she was staring at him, Tu Ling vaguely sensed that something was not right.

Could it be that the sister-in-law he finally found to be interested in had been hurt by Lin Hejing, that womanizer, before?

Thinking of this, she glared at Lin Hejing with an unfriendly expression, her eyes questioning him about what was going on.

Lin Hejing was also stunned. If he really knew such a beautiful girl, he couldn't possibly not remember her, so he was sure he didn't know her.

Seeing Tu Ling staring at him like that, he immediately knew something was wrong.

Sure enough, when I turned to look at Xie Keyin beside me, I noticed that the smile on her lips had also gradually faded.

He could already imagine that if he didn't explain things clearly, he would definitely be kneeling on a washboard when he got home tonight.

"I'm innocent! This is truly the first time I've met a girl today. I don't know her at all."

Seeing the doubtful look on his wife's face, he looked to Su Ping for help and said somewhat humbly, "Little sister, please say something for your brother..."

Su Ping hadn't expected things to be so serious. She pulled herself together and shook her head, saying, "Brother Jing is right, sister-in-law, don't worry. Today is the first time Brother Jing and I have met."

Hearing Su Ping say that, Tu Ling's expression softened a little, and then she looked at the waiter over there.

Seeing this, the waiter brought over a clean cup.

"Pingping."

Hearing her call her name, Su Ping responded, and then saw her reach out and take a cup from the waiter's hand.

"It's my birthday today and you're an hour and a half late. Don't you think you should be punished?"

Su Ping looked at the bottle of wine on the table, her eyes showing some hesitation: "But I drove here today, so if I drink..."

Before she could finish speaking, Tu Ling poured her a full cup.

"I don't care, it's my birthday today, you have to listen to me. It's okay, we'll just call a designated driver later."

Seeing her say that, Su Ping could only nod, after all, it was indeed her lateness that made them wait for so long.

Seeing that she was somewhat moved, Tu Ling continued to deceive her with the same excuse he had just prepared.

"Don't worry, it's fruit wine. At most, you'll just get a slight buzz, not drunk."

After saying that, he picked up the cup and held it out to her.

The aroma of fruit wine wafted towards him, and it did smell quite nice. Su Ping nodded, took it, and drank the wine in one gulp.

The movements were swift and decisive, leaving Lin Hejing, who was standing to the side, stunned.

Is this little girl such a good drinker? But this liquor is quite strong; after just one glass, the effects will probably kick in very quickly.

Su Ping placed the empty glass on the table, and just as she was about to speak, Tu Ling swiftly poured her another glass of wine.

"Pingping, you're an hour and a half late. Is it too much to punish you with a drink for being half an hour late?"

Tu Ling's voice was seductive, especially with her red-nailed hand resting on the wine glass, making her look like a fairy.

Su Ping knew her alcohol tolerance; she should be able to drink a few glasses of fruit wine without any problem.

To avoid spoiling the mood, she smiled, took the cup, and drank it all in one gulp.

After finishing the drink, she felt her head starting to feel lightheaded, so she quickly shook her head and said, "I'm not drinking anymore, I want to eat Sister Tu Ling's birthday cake later."

This statement left the group looking at each other in bewilderment. They had been so focused on figuring out how to bring the two together that they hadn't actually prepared a birthday cake.

But since she had already said that, it was too obvious that she was trying to get more wine. So Tu Ling pushed the fruit plate towards her and said, "Then have something to eat, we'll play some games and eat cake later."

On the other side, Tu Hengchuan, who had just come out of the toilet, could clearly feel the effects of the alcohol gradually taking hold. The alcohol he had just drunk was definitely not just fruit wine.

His legs were so weak that he had to hold onto the wall and walk toward the elevator.

We can't go back to the private room, otherwise we'll really be drunk and passed out here tonight.

The waiter waiting nearby saw Tu Hengchuan and walked over to him: "Sir, is there anything I can help you with?"

Tu Hengchuan placed his hand on him, feeling a terrible headache: "Help me down."

Before the alcohol fully took effect, he needed to get back to his car and call Sister Yu to ask her to come pick him up.

The waiter nodded and helped Tu Hengchuan walk towards the elevator.

Su Ping played games with them for a while, and when he lost, he had to drink. After a few rounds, he drank another glass of wine on and off.

She refused to believe she would keep losing.

"Again!"

Fueled by alcohol, Su Ping slammed his hand on the table, startling everyone.

Oh no, he's completely drunk.

The group exchanged glances, and finally turned their gaze to Tu Ling.

After all, she tricked them into coming here, and now they're really in a mess. What to do next depends on her plans.

"Pingping?"

Tu Ling looked at Su Ping, who was leaning back on the sofa, and called out softly as she approached.

Hearing someone call her name, Su Ping responded groggily, sat up straight, and then quickly lay back down.

Her hair partially covered her face, revealing her luscious red lips and flushed cheeks; she was clearly intoxicated by the alcohol.

At that moment, the phone vibrated again. Tu Ling opened it and saw the message sent by the person she had arranged.

"What's wrong?"

Seeing her excited face instantly fall, the group vaguely guessed that something must have gone wrong.

"That brat! I went to all the trouble of setting him up, and he just went straight back home!"

Immediately, everyone's gaze fell on Su Ping, who was already half asleep on the sofa, and they asked, "What do we do now...?"

Tu Ling waved his hand: "What can we do? That kid's already gone. Let's call it a day and talk about it another day."

Upon hearing this, Shi Xu also sighed.

After the others left, Tu Ling looked at Su Ping and nudged her shoulder, asking, "Pingping, it's getting late. Let me take you home."

Su Ping was in so much pain that she didn't even want to open her eyes. She sat up with her eyes closed and said, "I'm not going back, I'll come again!"

Seeing that she was completely drunk, Tu Ling could only sigh and look at Shi Xu, the only person left in the private room, signaling him to come and help Su Ping up.

She was so drunk that it wasn't appropriate to call a designated driver to take her home. Tu Ling simply took her into the elevator and pressed the button for the eighth floor.

Anyway, I have plenty of rooms here. I'll take her back tomorrow after she sobers up.

The room at the far end was quiet. Tu Ling took the card out of her bag, and the door opened after a "beep".

The lights were off inside. Tu Ling helped Su Ping into the room.

Then, with quick reflexes, he closed the door.
