The waiter slowly brought the dishes up, breaking the silence in the private room.
Su Ping absentmindedly stirred the mushrooms in the soup in front of her with her spoon. She wondered if it was just her imagination, but she felt that Shen Jiayu's gaze kept falling on her face.
When she looked over, she found that his gaze was indeed fixed on her.
Even after being caught, he showed no embarrassment whatsoever, instead continuing to stare at her with an open and honest gaze.
Feeling stared at like that, she suddenly lost her appetite, stopped what she was doing, and asked, "Mr. Shen, why are you looking at me like that?"

Shen Jiayu suddenly disliked hearing that address from her mouth, and his brows furrowed little by little.

Su Ping glanced inside and saw romantic candlelight; it was probably a young couple dining there.
After only one glance, she looked away and continued walking towards the toilet not far away.
The toilet doors inside were all open, and there was no one there.
Su Ping randomly entered one of the rooms, locked the door, and then squatted on the toilet contemplating life.
She couldn't understand why Shen Jiayu would do this. Was it simply because Shen Silan liked her?
The more she thought about it, the stranger it seemed, so she finally gave up on thinking about it altogether.
Just as she was about to open the bathroom door to go out, she heard the sound of high heels outside.
It didn't sound like normal walking; it sounded like someone who was drunk, completely disorganized, even stumbling and falling as if they were about to fall.
"uh-huh……"
Upon hearing the woman's muffled groan, Su Ping's mind went blank. She didn't dare move her hand on the door lock, afraid of disturbing the person outside.
"No, not here, what if someone comes in..."
The woman's voice had a tingling quality to it, and it was easy to guess what was happening outside.
