She sat on the toilet somewhat awkwardly, hoping that the two people outside would finish quickly and leave.

After a rustling sound, the woman's tentative voice rang out again: "Will you really marry me?"
The man paused in his steps, a sarcastic smile spreading across his face.
But when he turned to look at the woman who was unzipping her skirt, his eyes were filled with sincerity.
"Of course, as long as I become the sole heir, we can be together forever."
Su Ping never expected that she would hear such gossip about a wealthy family while she was in the bathroom, and her gossip instincts were immediately ignited.
Only after all the noise outside had completely subsided did she open the cubicle door a crack.
The two people outside had already left, but an ambiguous atmosphere lingered in the air.
Looking at the toilet door behind her, she suddenly felt a bit unlucky. She wanted to wash her hands at the sink, but after seeing the... on it, she felt even more disgusted.

In the dim light, she gradually made out the face.

Su Ping recognized the face, and suddenly her eyes welled up with tears, blurring her vision.
Sensing her change in mood, the man took a step forward, bent his head slightly, stared into her eyes, and showed a somewhat puzzled and bewildered expression.
Lu Zhiyan felt like he had seen her somewhere before, in a dream?
Why did she cry when she saw herself?
When Su Ping felt his cool fingertips touch her face, she realized that she had just uncontrollably shed tears.
At the same time, an indescribable emotion was nagging at my chest, a bittersweet feeling.
Seeing her reaction, Lu Zhiyan felt an even stronger sense of unease.
Just as he was about to ask something, a cell phone rang.
Su Ping snapped back to her senses, realizing her lapse in composure, and quickly pushed the man in front of her away, keeping some distance between them.
When that face was fully exposed to the air, she was in a daze for a moment.
Even though it was the exact same face as that man, she could tell at a glance that they weren't the same person.
Lu Zhiyan took out his phone, glanced at the caller ID, and a hint of impatience flashed across his face.
As soon as the call connected, Mrs. Lu's voice came through the phone.
"Zhiyan, what's wrong with you? How could you let Miss Su wait for you alone in the private room for so long!"
"Didn't I tell you to get along well with Miss Su tonight? Her parents have passed away, and she's sensitive, so you need to take good care of her."
As he listened to Madam Lu's series of questions, a hint of mockery flashed in Lu Zhiyan's eyes.
If he hadn't just witnessed it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have known that his brother had already taken care of his fiancée in advance, nor would he know if his mother was aware of it.
