After dinner, everyone rested for a while.

Xu Chunmai is a light sleeper; she wakes up as soon as Xiao Le'an cries.
As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Xiao Le'an looking for milk on Lin Chuan's chest.
Xu Chunmai wasn't fully awake yet, and this made her laugh.
"Le'an is hungry and wants to drink milk."
Lin Chuan handed Xiao Le'an to Xu Chunmai, jokingly saying, "I can't do this job, I don't have the skills, you should do it."
Xu Chunmai smiled as she took the child, lifted her clothes, and began to feed the baby.
Despite having witnessed this scene numerous times in the past few days, Lin Chuan still found it unavoidably awkward.
This is his wife. In the past few days, I've noticed more and more that Xu Chunmai has delicate features and a pretty face.
More importantly, her body was so white that it dazzled his eyes.
Little Le'an was starving and gulped down her milk, her little fists gradually loosening.

After waking up, Xu Shengli prepared to go back to work in the fields.

Lin Shuning tilted her head back. "Daddy, really? But Grandma always says I'm a little girl, not a treasure, but a money-loser."
Lin Chuan picked up Lin Shuning and placed her on his lap. "Shuning, what your grandma said is wrong. She won't be your grandma anymore. You'll never be a burden. You're Dad's most precious treasure."
Lin Shuning's eyes sparkled as she smiled, "Dad, I love you so much."
Lin Chuan held her as if he were holding the whole world.
"Dad loves you too, and will always love you."
In this life, he wants his Shu Ning to be happy forever.
Lin Shuning felt a sweet warmth in her heart. She jumped off Lin Chuan's lap, clutching the little rabbit, and asked, "Daddy, can I have a little puppy too?"
"Of course." Lin Chuan found another piece of broken wood, imagined an adorable little dog in his mind, and started working on it.
