Lu Gaoliang was quite surprised, "You didn't know what the plains were like before?"
Xiong Zhenghao said, "Yes, our area is all mountains. I was the first person to come out of our area."
Fu Linchuan knew all too well what it was like over there.

Just as Fu Linchuan had estimated, they finally saw the gate of the military camp more than an hour later.
In fact, everyone has a different kind of expectation and feeling towards the military.
This place is sacred and solemn.
After everyone had been checked and entered the military camp, the ranks fell silent.
Fu Linchuan and his group were taken to an open space and assigned instructors according to the numbers of their respective departments.
Fu Linchuan, from the Department of Architecture, is now in the Third Company of the Eighth Battalion.
After the instructor called their names and explained a few things, he led them to their dormitory.
It's called a dormitory, but it's just a tent set up for these freshmen.
Inside a large tent were more than twenty military-style hardboard beds.
There were only five girls in their architecture department, and they moved to a separate girls' tent with the other girls from the other camps.
Everyone found their beds in order, and then the instructors began to teach everyone how to tidy up their belongings.
In short, everything was new and exciting when I first arrived here.

After tidying up the house, we had dinner together in the cafeteria that evening.

He was so tired every day, yet he still had to find time to write letters to his girlfriend.
Although he can't mail the letters now, he's saving them all, saying he'll surprise his girlfriend after military training ends.
Lu Gaoliang did get a bit tanned, but not nearly as much as he claimed.
When Fu Linchuan said this, he chuckled and said, "My girlfriend and I are truly in love, how could she not recognize me?"
"Hey, Linchuan, I'll introduce my girlfriend to you guys later."
Fu Linchuan nodded, "Okay, I'll treat you to dinner later."
"No, no, it's on me, it's on me," Lu Gaoliang quickly said.
"Fu Linchuan!"
We were chatting when the instructor at the door called out to us.
Fu Linchuan was startled and immediately jumped out of bed. "Here!"
"Come out, someone is looking for you."
Fu Linchuan grabbed his coat and hat and went out.
Lu Gaoliang and the others were muttering inside—
"Could it be that Old Qian didn't like Fu Linchuan today and went out for extra training?"
"Old Qian, that heartless instructor, I'm not so sure."
"Poor Fu Linchuan, he can't rest at night, and we don't know when he'll be back."
"Shall we go take a look?"
Just as the group was about to go to the door to take a look, Instructor Qian Zheng came in.
He had a stern face. "Didn't you hear the lights-out bugle? Want to go for a ten-kilometer run?"
Immediately, everyone returned to their beds and remained completely still.
Fu Linchuan was called out, but he really didn't know what it was about.
Qian Zheng didn't mention anything and just told him to go with a soldier.
As he walked, Fu Linchuan roughly guessed that Fan Xinli might be looking for him.
After entering the administration building at the back, just as Fu Linchuan had expected, the soldier led him to the door of Fan Xinli's office.
"Report!"
After the soldier shouted, Fan Xinli's voice came from inside.
"Come in!"
Fu Linchuan followed him inside and saw the other two people who had been in the meeting earlier in Fan Xinli's office.
Upon seeing Fu Linchuan arrive, Fan Xinli immediately smiled and waved to the soldier, "You can go back now."
Fan Xinli organized a document and handed it to someone next to him, who then saluted and left.
