The meat buns and boiled eggs were for Xu Chunmai, while the coarse grain flatbread was for Lin Chuan himself.
The autumn morning was still quite chilly, so he tucked the steamed buns and eggs into his pocket.
Lin Chuan walked along, munching on a flatbread.
Even though it was really hard to swallow, his heart was warm.

Xu Chunmai handed the white and tender egg to Lin Chuan's mouth, "You eat first."
Lin Chuan took a bite; the boiled egg was really delicious.
Seeing Lin Chuan take a bite, Xu Chunmai then ate the rest of the egg.
"This is the director, Xu Chunmai. She's in breech position now, please take a look."
The doctor who had just led the elderly doctor, who looked to be in his fifties, in and went straight to Xu Chunmai's bedside.
The old doctor examined Xu Chunmai's condition and asked, "Can she still walk? Let me take a look at her next door."
