Bonus Chapter 4: Enrollment

Deep within the eighth-order universe, countless enormous shadows float.

There were vast arrays of technologically advanced spaceships, as well as enormous forms of advanced life forms, densely packed together.

Quietly guarding a tightly closed stone door.

Although the stone gate was shrouded in layers of massive shadows, in the distance, warp wormholes could still be seen lighting up from time to time.

Countless enormous creatures emerged from those wormholes and then silently rushed toward the tightly closed door.

The Devanje people arrived neither too early nor too late.

The moment the star mothership emerged from the warp hole, it didn't even elicit the slightest reaction from the 'front-row audience'.

Those enormous 'cosmic shadows' didn't even glance at this magnificent starship that bound the star.

Only a few forces on the outermost edge of the Stone Gate glanced at the Devane Starship fleet.

[A truly... 'simple and unpretentious' space fleet.]

[His name was something like De, a 'new member' accepted by the committee in the last public vote. He barely met the admission requirements for members of higher planes, so it's normal that he's a bit poor.]

[Tsk, then you shouldn't be here joining in the fun.]

[Heh heh, what's there to be afraid of? The more of them come, the greater our chances of being selected. These idiots are just here to feed us more fools; why would we kick them out?]

[Exactly! Otherwise, all the spots would be snatched up by those big shots from level seven or eight planes! We're always risking our lives to be runners-up!]

Thus, this secret communication channel reached a tacit agreement and ceased communication.

Meanwhile, in the central command module of the Devanje star mothership.

Commander Huo Ling took a deep breath, but the others in the command center were not so calm.

"The innermost one is just some large meteorite from the Alchemy Academy, right? Hehehe! It's definitely not some kind of ghostly level eight life form, right?!"

The crew member in charge of the life support radar was staring so hard his eyes were practically popping out of their sockets. The red light, a warning of 'danger,' flashed everywhere, turning his face bright red.

"Everyone, I must be dreaming, otherwise how come I see a circle of level 4 life forms closest to the gate?"

In mythology, the fourth level is supreme.

They are potential 'gods'. Once their level of life advances, they can transcend the ordinary and become beings whose lifespan is comparable to that of the planet.

In the Devanje language family, this type of life is given a very beautiful name: 'land angel'.

"Aaaaah! The Alchemy Academy is an eighth-tier power, right??? Why are even level 4 lifeforms coming to join the fun?? Is there still any chance for our 'seed'?"

In an instant, despair filled the entire command room.

The shadow cast by the military cap obscured General Huo's eyes.

"Move the fleet to the outermost perimeter, maintaining a certain distance from other forces. Warn the researchers aboard the ships that now is not the time to satisfy their curiosity. Anyone who disobeys will be executed on the spot."

That's too arrogant.

The Dvannes, who have just joined the higher planes, are too arrogant.

I actually feel that my current level of life is enough to earn me a spot in an alchemy academy.

Impossible!

Those Level 4 beings may not personally participate; they may be escorts, elders, or bring their own offspring.

However, even blood relatives are a deadly weapon in the eyes of Devanje.

The competition for entry is like a brutal food chain.

Big fish eat small fish, small fish eat shrimp.

And Devanje is the "plankton" at the bottom of this food chain.

With these thoughts in mind, General Huo approached the handsome deity.

"Your Majesty, you have come here to have your descendants enter the Alchemy Academy, haven't you?"

This mysterious ruler emitted two pointed ears, one of which belonged to an alchemist who had mastered alchemy. This is the basis for the speculation…

"The Devanne Galaxy is willing to believe in you, offering 10 energy stars, and daring to ask you for one spot in the Alchemy Academy."

Arthur narrowed his azure eyes slightly.

...

The newly arrived Devanje is not worth paying attention to.

At this moment, every advanced life form present was silently calculating the number of spots in their minds.

Each time the gates open, only the first 300 people are accepted.

And those present...

The three largest level 4 beings at the innermost part completely blocked the Stone Gate.

"Damn it, isn't that a big shot from the [Destiny Clan]? The [Destiny Clan] who's said to be spending his entire life either giving birth or on the path to giving birth?!"

The crew member, who was flipping through the pages of "Complete Book of Higher Life Species," let out a strange cry.

"Oh my god! How many spots will this take up?!"

"No matter how many spots the bigwigs of the Fate Clan plan to take, we're out of luck, right? Look at all this outside! It's a 360° no-dead-angle encirclement, at least six layers deep! What's the point of even trying to compete here! Even if we used a stellar cannon, could we even break through a single layer of magic shield on a magic-side vehicle?"

The closer you are to the outer perimeter, the fiercer the fighting will be.

The "big shots" closest to the door get their spots first, and the remaining spots are fought over by the surrounding forces.

The fewer spots available, the fiercer the competition will be.

De Niro's life radar has large and small red dots connected together.

Don't ask, the answer is that I can't beat anyone.

At that moment, with a "beep," the electronic access control opened, and General Huo walked back to the command center. Compared to his anxiety when he left, his expression was no longer serious.

"General, we—"

"Standardize all else," General Huo interrupted his subordinate in a deep voice.

The rest simply thought it meant "to escort the Seed of Hope into the Alchemy Academy at all costs."

"Yes—!" all the crew members in the command center replied resolutely.

The remaining waiting time became unbearable, and everyone silently wrote their farewell letters.
