Do you have anything here that... can enhance desire?
Li Aili: "..."
"I've found a dark elf lover, and I love him so much that I want to fulfill his desires. Do you understand what I mean?"
The delicate flower fairy in front of her spoke shyly and awkwardly to the owner of the "Alchemy Hut".
Li Aili stared expressionlessly at the flower fairy before her. It was a beautiful fairy, no bigger than a palm. But at this moment, a huge and conspicuous bubble hovered above her head.
[Damn dark elf! How dare you cheat on me! I'll just force-feed you a bottle of desire potion (Note 1)! Then I'll throw you into the livestock shed! Bah! You scumbag, go have sex with a mule!]
Li Aili's gaze slowly moved downwards. The flower fairy in front of her had her hands folded and her tiny feet drawing circles. Her shy and timid appearance was simply adorable.
Li Aili: "..."
"Hey boss, if your reagent has other effects, such as electric shock, poisoning, or diarrhea, I'm willing to pay a few more gold coins."
Li Aili: "..."
"Oh, stop looking at me like that! It's just that my boyfriend has a bit of a weird taste, he's a dark elf, you know~"
The giant bubble above the flower fairy's head, who was flirting with her, seemed to be saying: "Damn it, I'll make you a piece of my mind, you scumbag!"
"277 gold coins, no bargaining." Li Aili took out a bottle of pomegranate-colored reagent and placed it on the counter.
Upon hearing the price, the flower fairy asked in shock, "...Why don't you just rob me!?"
Li Aili said, "Doesn't all these additional effects come at a price? If you only want the single effect 'Desire Reagent,' it's 157 gold coins."
Finally, the flower fairy flapped her little wings, hugged a reagent bottle almost as big as herself, and left the "alchemy shop" located at the end of the black market alley in the chaotic district, cursing all the while.
"274, 275,..." While she was counting her gold coins, she received a notification that her reputation with the Alchemy House had increased.
Your evil reputation has increased by 5 points.
[Current Reputation: Evil 76.]
[Note: The higher your reputation with evil, the more customers with impure intentions you will attract.]
Li Aili paused in her counting of money, so angry she wanted to curse. She actually wanted to sell the reagents to good people.
But where is this? The Chaotic Zone is a lawless area nestled between the five major powers, a chaotic 'sewer' where all sorts of people mingle. Anyone who settles here, if not a wanted criminal by any of the various factions, is certainly a notorious member of any race on the continent.
The greater her reputation here, the more dangerous the customers she attracts. This is not a long-term solution; she needs to hurry and find another way out before being targeted by those she can't afford to offend.
"277." After counting the last gold coin, Li Aili tied up the dirty leather bag and put it in the small box under the counter.
The small box was already full of gold coins. Li Aili looked at them with the loving gaze of a dragon guarding its treasure.
"Ring ring," the shop's welcome bell rang.
"Welcome." Li Aili looked at the guests who came in.
The guest who walked in was very tall, probably about 1.95 meters, and it was unclear what race he was.
The black cloak completely covered the guest from head to toe; this was standard practice in the black market and nothing special.
The new customer stood quietly in front of the simple counter, not saying a word. Although she couldn't see the other person's face, the feeling of being scrutinized and appraised through some barrier made Li Aili somewhat uncomfortable.
"What do you need?" Li Aili raised her voice and asked again.
The customer remained silent, one hand resting on the counter, the pigeon-blood red ring on his thumb gleaming brightly, his slender index finger tapping the wooden countertop with a "tap tap tap" sound.
Is this person here to cause trouble? Li Aili's brows furrowed slightly.
She had been in the black market trading area of Canberra for three months, and naturally, she hadn't encountered any trouble at all.
But she has someone protecting her!
The black market boss thumped his chest and declared, "On this street, anyone who messes with the alchemist's owner is slapping me in the face. And whoever slaps me in the face, I'll take their life."
“If you don’t need anything, turn left when you leave. Goodbye,” Li Aili paused. “If you’re looking for trouble, I advise you not to ask for it.”
“I have a ‘friend’,” the mysterious guest suddenly spoke, his voice a deep and magnetic male voice.
Li Aili felt her ears burning from hearing that voice.
This guest's voice is so sexy! Li Aili couldn't help but be a little more patient with him.
"He was away fighting for a long time."
Li Aili subconsciously looked up at the top of the man's head, but it was empty; she couldn't see anything there.
This is unbelievable; this is the first time since she redeemed the [Mind Reading] ability with her points.
"He won a battle and returned home with his followers to celebrate, only to find this note nailed to his front door."
The man took out a crumpled piece of parchment from his pocket, placed it slowly on the counter, and then smoothed it out little by little with his slender, white fingers.
It looked as if it wasn't a piece of parchment being crumpled, but rather the person who wrote it down.
Li Aili lowered her head curiously, and upon seeing the familiar handwriting, a chill instantly ran from the soles of her feet to her forehead.
The note was written in her flamboyant handwriting:
To His Dear Duke of Cold Jade:
I believe a marriage without conjugal relations is unhappy. Although I don't know if it's because you're not sexually active, to avoid wasting each other's time, let's cut our losses and get a divorce!
