The air here is thick with the pungent smell of rotten eggs.
My skin felt a burning sensation all the time.
The screams of some terrifying demons attacked the fragile eardrums of humans one after another.
"Welcome to Hell." The devil Claude's eyes crinkled into crescent moons with laughter.
The vertical pupils in his red eyes were fixed on Li Aili's retreating figure. "Ah, there's something I forgot to tell you, Your Excellency."
"Although your body can hold a very powerful soul, you are still human in essence."
The devil slapped his head in frustration, "But the human body cannot survive in hell for long."
"You should be able to sense it, right? There's no air here that humans can breathe."
The devil Claude walked up to Ellie and took a deep, pleasurable breath, his nostrils filled with the rotten egg smell unique to hell.
There is no fresh air from the upper plane.
"What should we do?" he asked, feigning distress.
"Those who die in hell, their souls belong to hell~~~" The devil's voice couldn't help but rise higher at the end.
Li Aili calmly took out a flask filled with water from her storage ring.
As the wrist was gently turned, the liquid in the flask gradually deepened in color, eventually turning into a brilliant red.
Li Aili calmly uncorked the flask, raised her glass to the devil Claude, and said, "Thank you for the reminder, kind Mr. Devil."
After saying that, she gulped down the "powerful transformation potion" in the bottle.
And so, the demon Claude watched as the human woman before him grew taller and taller, her skin turning a fiery red, a color common in hell.
Claude: "..."
His smile gradually faded.
"Indeed, the devil shouldn't expect to gain without effort," the monarch of the lower plane muttered to himself.
Li Aili clearly felt that her human morality, after she completely transformed into a demon, was sealed in a 'small box'.
The devilish version of Li Aili flicked her thin tail, which had a little heart at the tip, and asked, "Mr. Claude, may we begin our tour now?"
Claude's smile was very forced.
It looks like they just missed out on a billion dollars.
"Of course, so let me first show you around our work area."
He snapped his fingers and conjured a carriage out of thin air.
As for those pulling the carts...
Claude said to Ellie in a gentlemanly manner, "Ah, please wait a moment, I'll go and fetch a rickshaw puller."
Li Aili: "..."
Claude's red eyes scanned only half the area before spotting his target. He then transformed into a puff of red smoke and darted off in one direction with a series of rapid 'thump-thump-thump' sounds.
Before long, red smoke returned carrying two giant creatures that were struggling wildly.
This thing is reddish-brown, with a pair of huge black horns on its head. Its head looks like a cow but not quite, and its whole body is full of bulging muscles.
Two loud "bangs" followed.
The enormous creature was thrown to the ground, raising a cloud of black ash.
"Cough cough cough!" Li Aili coughed, choked by the cough.
The plume of red smoke fell straight to the ground and transformed back into Claude's form.
Two kidnapped "laborers" were roughly tied to the front of a red carriage.
The smiling devil, still in human form, stared at them dangerously with his red eyes, and said in an incredibly gentle voice, "If you don't pull the cart properly, you two will be my 'appetizers' tonight."
Two hellish creatures: "..."
Li Aili felt they were about to pee their pants in fear.
In short, the kidnapped laborers were tied to the front of the carriage and used as horses to pull it.
These two things are huge, but they look really... random.
It seems like hell is full of these 'random-looking' creatures.
Claudio opened the carriage door and politely gestured for Li Aili to enter.
Li Aili got into the car.
Claude got in the car and sat opposite her.
The two giant hellish creatures pulled the carriage with perfect stability, as if afraid that the slightest mistake would turn it into dinner for some terrible demon.
The scenery outside the window rushed past.
From a barren expanse of black lava rock, some buildings gradually appear.
The buildings here have all turned grayish-brown from years of exposure to black smoke.
These buildings, like the residents here, look 'very sloppy'.
Li Aili tilted her head, looking at the strangely shaped buildings outside the car window.
No matter how beautiful a building is, it will look cheap when covered in black smoke.
Soon, the buildings outside the window gradually became denser.
Claude then introduced her to the area: "This is the living area for the refugees in the outer city."
"1,000 years ago, the concept of city-states did not exist in hell."
"This is all thanks to His Highness Arthur."
Claude straightened his back proudly. "You should know that the time it takes for any civilization to go from chaos to the establishment of a city-state is far longer than that of hell."
“We are a very promising force, Miss Li Aili.”
The oddly shaped houses are lined up in a row, but surprisingly, they look quite pleasing to the eye.
"Arthur, have you ever been to Hell?"
Claude nodded with a smile. "Of course, in fact, after His Highness dies, he will be another monarch in the next plane."
“I am willing to share my authority with Your Highness.”
Claude's sharp black fingernails scratched at the obsidian inlaid on the scepter.
"We are very different from humans."
"In hell, those who have power will obtain absolute authority."
"Those who lack ability deserve to be eaten or enslaved."
