Chapter 130 'SSS' Level Bounty Mission

Li Aili couldn't wait to test the effects of the new drug.

She arrived at Leongor's alchemy room with great interest, and upon opening the door, she saw this scene.

Two dark-faced tree spirits pinned the Golden Knight Valen to the ground, one on each side.

Wang Di was holding a pill, about to stuff it into the mouth of Knight Valen.

"Stop!" Li Aili exclaimed in alarm.

The tree spirit and the king's brother both looked at her.

Knight Valen let out a hoarse cry, "Meow~~~"

Li Aili: "..."

She realized she might have misunderstood, so she coughed lightly and asked, "What's wrong?"

A tree spirit turned around expressionlessly and pointed his thumb forcefully at his back.

Upon seeing this, Li Aili gasped in shock; the man's back was scratched into a 'fishnet' pattern.

Li Aili: "..."

Li Aili: "Excuse me, please continue."

Without even asking what kind of medicine it was, she took a step back and closed the door behind her.

After a while, when the loud meowing from the cat's mouth stopped in the alchemy room of the king's brother, Li Aili went in.

On the ground, the Golden Knight 'walked' peacefully.

Wang Di covered his bleeding finger and explained, "It's just a paralysis pill. There's no better way to treat the aftereffects right now, so we can only put them to sleep like this and wake them up once the aftereffects wear off."

Li Aili thought about Justin Knight.

Goodness, I'll need to sleep for at least a week!

Fortunately, both the Silver Knights and the Gold Knights possessed exceptionally strong physical attributes and could withstand the strain.

A week later, when he opened his eyes, he was a vigorous and energetic man again.

Li Aili took out a new potion, "Attack Potion, let's test its effect."

Knight Li Aili and the King's brother got along quite well when it came to exploring the unknown.

Wang Di immediately pulled a large, fat rat out of the cage on the shelf.

The saying goes, "Raise a rat for a thousand days, use a rat for only one."

Wang Di held down the struggling fat rat, while Li Aili took out the dropper that Toconard had made from a craftsman and began to administer the medicine.

After consuming a bottle of alchemical potion, the rat's belly swelled up into a ball.

Leongor didn't dare to pinch its belly too hard, afraid that it would vomit if he poked it.

Soon, the effects of the potion became apparent, and the rat flicked its tail, slapping Wang Di's wrist with a 'smack'.

Leongor let go in pain, and the mouse did a 720-degree spin in the air, landed smoothly, and then darted out of the alchemy room with the speed of a rocket.

"Ouch!" Leongor winced and bent over in pain.

His wrist immediately became red and swollen.

"Uh, are you alright?" Li Aili noticed that Wang Di's forehead was covered in sweat from the pain.

Leongor cried out in anguish, "Give me a healing potion."

Li Aili: "??"

He said, barely containing his emotions, "The bones... might be broken."

Li Aili: "!!!"

She hurriedly threw down a bottle of healing potion and turned to run outside.

Wang Di hurriedly asked, "That rat is in great danger now, you mustn't..."

Li Aili hurriedly interrupted Wang Di, "I have to hurry and save the cat!"

Wang Di: "..."

Fortunately, the mouse did not cause trouble for the kittens in the castle.

Or rather, it was disrupted midway.

As it passed through the West Forest, it happened to catch the Duke coming out of it.

Then, the rat charged at the tall man, bared its two sharp teeth at the black boots, and started snapping away furiously.

Duke: "..."

The creatures in this castle are becoming increasingly strange.

...

The dragon-slaying team returned at dinner time.

Because the Duke did not allow a third person to intrude on his and his wife's cozy little round table, the dining location was chosen to be the restaurant on the south side of the second floor.

"Is the place to redeem the bounty very far? Why did it take you so long?" Li Aili asked curiously after sitting down.

After two adventures, the introverted Wendy Shane and Ellie Li became good friends.

She immediately replied, "Because we had enough money, Leslie and I went back to Tankar and bought the house."

Li Aili felt that this should be a great joy for the Tankar elves, so she offered her congratulations:

"Congratulations, congratulations..."

The joy was over, because both parties looked gloomy and distressed.

The bubbles above their heads were the color of bankruptcy.

Wendy Shani: [The community management fee in the Canopy Villa area is so expensive, 1000 gold coins a month...]

Leslie: [The annual cost of maintaining the house is around 100,000 gold, so my retirement plan has to be postponed.]

A malevolent black bubble simultaneously appeared above both of their heads:

Today is another day I hope the wretched His Majesty will be kicked out by the Queen.

Li Aili: "..." She silently swallowed back her words of congratulations.

He then looked at the two dark elves, "And you?"

Charmont pulled out his new assassin's badge. "This is a ranking badge awarded by the Assassin's Guild. I've risen from 31st to 20th! I'm one step closer to becoming the most powerful assassin!"

Li Aili: "Congratulations!"

She looked at Assange, who smiled gently and said, "I did some charity work."

And a huge yellow bubble appeared above his head:

The dancers at the Central City bar are fucking hot!

Li Aili: "..." Hehe, I hope you didn't go to the one I know.

White Rose joined the dragon-slaying team. Li Aili looked at her and asked, "Where's White Rose?"

White Rose said enthusiastically, "Ellie, I've been at the Adventurers' Guild these past few days!"
