Chapter 145

The original red dragon 'sheep thief' has transformed into a golden dragon, beginning a brand new dragon life.

"Zarian," a knight called as he entered the dragon's lair.

Now, the 'sheep thief' Celia has changed his name to 'Zarian'.

The golden dragon, lying in its lair, raised its head, its clear dragon eyes looking at the knight who had entered.

Although the golden dragon in front of us is not yet an adult, it is already nearly 10 meters long.

The knight stared at the dragon, his eyes unsure where to look.

For a knight, a dragon is like a dream lover.

"Madam, uh, no, the city lord requests that you go outside the city."

The dragon suddenly stood up. "Ah! Finally, is there something I need to do?!"

"Leave it to me with confidence! We Golden Dragons are fearless!"

The knight's lips twitched slightly as he thought about what the golden dragon was going to do next.

"Outside the city, is that right?" Zarian the Golden Dragon walked up to the knight.

Grean spread his left dragon wing on the ground and generously said to the knight, "Get on, I'll take you there."

knight:"!!!"

No knight does not yearn for the back of a dragon.

The silver-ranked knight never expected to be hit by a windfall.

"Am I dreaming?" The knight raised his hand and pinched his cheek hard. "Ouch! That hurts! Is it real!?"

The golden dragon tilted its head slightly. "Ah, you don't like it?"

"like!!!"

I love it so much!!!

"Thank you so much!!" With that, the knight scrambled up onto the dragon's back.

With a running start, Golden Dragon Zarian took a gentle leap and soared into the blue sky.

“Mr. Zarian!!” shouted the knight on the dragon’s back.

"What?" The dragon had already spotted Li Aili outside the city, so it began to glide down.

"Please take good care of yourself in a little while!!!"

Golden Dragon: "?"

The golden dragon had landed, unloaded the knight from its back, and walked demurely to Li Aili.

"I heard you were looking for me, Madam?"

Li Aili and the officials around her all looked at the proud and upright Huang Jinlong.

“…How about…we put armor on him?” Balk said, unable to bear it.

Golden Dragon: "??"

“That might make the test inaccurate,” Li Aili said, “but there are quite a few projects to be done.”

"Put armor on him."

Then, the bewildered golden dragon was fitted with full armor.

“In a little while, try flying over the cornfield,” Li Aili said to Huang Jinlong.

Golden Dragon tilted his head slightly. "A cornfield?"

The officials all raised their hands and pointed to the 'forest' in the distance.

The dragon looked in the direction the crowd was pointing and realized that the 'forest' in the distance was not made up of towering trees at all.

Instead, it was a huge, exaggerated field of corn.

A cornfield?!

Golden Dragon was dumbfounded.

“Please be careful,” Li Aili said to the confident Zarian.

Golden Dragon glanced at the thin, small city lord.

Humans are such overreacting creatures.

It's just some corn that's grown a little bigger.

Look how scared these people are.

Huang Jinlong believes that no amount of explanation can compare to compelling facts.

So he spread his wings and soared majestically into the blue sky.

A giant dragon passed over the cornfield.

The ears of corn on the stalks were swayed by a gust of wind, just like a thief stepping on an infrared beam.

Almost instantly, all the corn on the corn stalks aligned itself with the golden dragon in the sky.

Then--

Thump thump thump thump thump.

The dense corn kernels were like a hail of bullets, hitting the giant dragon in the sky with perfect accuracy.

Caught off guard, the golden dragon in the sky let out a miserable howl.

The Golden Dragon 'crashed'.

Li Aili and the others immediately rushed to the spot where the golden dragon had crashed.

Good heavens, all of his armor is dented.

The golden dragon's eyes were filled with tears, but even more so with doubt about the meaning of dragon life.

He... he got beaten up by a bunch of corn cobs?!

Leongor immediately lifted the golden dragon's armor and found that the scales underneath were somewhat uneven.

Leongor: "This intensity is acceptable."

Leongor quickly analyzed, "The scales of the golden dragon are much stronger than those of the colored dragon."

"Furthermore, he was wearing protective armor. If it were a chromatic dragon, Corn would probably be able to break through the dragon scales' defenses directly!"

"Even if the colorful dragon flies higher, it won't be a problem."

Upon hearing this, Li Aili nodded, and then drew a simple corn cob on the parchment in her hand.

"Plant corn on the outermost layer, only 3/4 of the circle is needed, and its job is to bring down the dragon."

"Hey, what about this 1/4?" Wendy asked, trying to find fault.

Li Aili pointed to the towering pumpkin in the distance.

"Is there anything it can't handle?"

Wendy: "..."

Wendy stubbornly retorted, "Over 100 dragons! You can't say that... Ughhhhh!!!"

Her mouth was covered by Thomason, who had no expression on his face.

Li Aili continued, "Corn can't solve all the dragon problems, so we need to plant other things later."

“Plant potatoes on the second layer,” Arthur suggested.

Li Aili glanced at him.

That's really bad.

The dragons that were shot down were either injured and unable to fly, or too afraid to fly, and then they stepped on potatoes that were like landmines...

"good."

"Does the potato... still need testing?"

Everyone turned to look at the golden dragon, whose eyes were filled with tears.

Li Aili said, "This is a bit dangerous. Let's test it with something else."
