Stepping out of the portal, Leongor saw a familiar sight: not Constantinople, but Tankar.
Li Aili first went to Danton, a city next to Tankar.
There, at the magical goods shop, a batch of teleportation scrolls were replenished.
The shop owner personally went out to see 'God of Wealth' Li Aili off.
Just as they stepped outside, they happened to run into the carriage of Lord Danton.
The carriage suddenly stopped, and the red-haired city lord, Denton Tankar, leaned out of the window.
"Hey~ Isn't this your older sister?"
"Oh, Leongor, cousin, long time no see."
Where are you going?
Li Aili smiled and said, "Hello Mr. Denton, we were just on our way to Tankar."
"What a coincidence~ My cousin suddenly remembered that I need to go back to report on my work."
I was just about to head back when, by chance, I'll give you a ride.
As Li Aili got into the car, this half-human, half-elf city lord had a genuine smile on her face the entire time.
Li Aili glanced silently at the bubbles rising above his head:
I heard my cousin has been kicked out of his bedroom for two nights in a row, hahaha!
Haha, hahaha!
Li Aili: "..."
It's clear that the two Tankar brothers have some affection for each other, but it's definitely not much.
Because the entire train carriage was filled with 'hahaha' bubbles along the way.
Until the carriage stopped under the giant tree where the royal court was located.
Denton Tankar jumped off the carriage; he really did restrain himself.
Li Aili could tell from the bubble above his head that this guy quickly went through all the saddest things he had ever experienced in his life.
That's what prevented him from laughing on his way to the Crown Court.
Li Aili: "..."
As she reached the entrance to the royal palace, Li Aili overheard a conversation that made her realize just how wise Denton's actions had been.
"What are you laughing at?" Fisheranki's voice rang out.
"Huh? I, I..." Before the elf in the hall could explain.
Fisher-Nankey: "My CFO is happy?"
Elf: "N-nothing..."
Fisher-Nankey: "Give me the fiscal year summary next week. I don't want to see numbers lower than at the end of last year, understand?"
The utterly unlucky finance officer exclaimed, "But...but Your Majesty, it's only March!"
Fishernaki: "Oh, what do you call me?"
The elf's voice froze, "Your Majesty, I call you Your Majesty."
Fisher-Nankey: "So, I need the year-end financial report next week, is that a problem?"
Elf: "……………………"
Even standing outside the hall, Li Aili could see the bubbles of profanity emanating from the elf's head.
Li Aili looked at Denton Tankar, whose face was stern, with admiration.
Denton Tankar was the first to enter the hall, and he walked with the air of someone entering a dragon's lair, each step taken with a sense of 'meticulous caution'.
Li Aili, who was following behind, was under a lot of pressure.
On the throne, the Elf King, wearing a golden laurel crown, rested his chin on one hand, which was half-clenched into a fist.
"Oh, cousin..."
Fisher's eyes lit up when he saw Ellie, then his expression turned inscrutable when he saw Leongor.
This was the first time Li Aili had ever seen Fisheronaki with this expression.
The way he looked at Leongor was as if he wanted to throw him into outer space.
"Cousin, what brings you here?"
Leongor: "Ah, my sister and I..."
Fishernaki interrupted him with a smile, “Leongor, you’re 1009 years old.”
Leongor: "?"
Fishernaki: "It's not appropriate to address a human woman who is only 20 years old like that."
Li Aili: "..."
Leongor hadn't called her "sister" in a long time, ever since Li Aili opened the door to alchemy for him.
Today, he just casually called her "sister" along with Denton.
Leongor: "Wait, why can Denton be called that?"
Fishernaki smiled and said, "Leonor, I have an important matter to ask for your help with."
Leongor's pointed ears twitched, and he immediately said seriously, "Cousin, you speak!"
Fishernaki took out a pen and paper and quickly wrote a note: "This is a confidential document. Do not open it or look at it. Please deliver it to the Duke of Constantinople in person, okay?"
Leongor: "Okay!"
Fisheranki stepped down from the throne and tore off a spatial scroll for him.
Leongor stood at the entrance of the portal: "Cousin, you've entrusted the mission to me, so you..."
Before he could finish speaking, Fisheranki shoved him into the portal and casually shattered the space with a wave of his hand.
Li Aili: "..."
The Elf King turned around, his smile returning to its gentle warmth. "Sister, could you please say a few good words for me to Alice?"
Li Aili: "..." She really wanted to ask Fisher Nanki how old he was this year, but she held back.
And so, she was pushed directly to the entrance of the royal bedchamber by Fisheranki.
The bedroom door had barely opened a crack when a pillow flew out and slammed against the door, accompanied by the flower fairy's furious shout, "Get out of here!" (ノ`Д)ノ
Fishernaki coaxed gently, "Darling, your sister has come to see you."
The bedchamber was quiet for a moment, then the door opened halfway, and the flower fairy stared at Li Aili, gesturing for her to go in.
Fishernaki gave her a meaningful look.
Li Aili: "..."
As soon as Li Aili stepped inside, the palace door was slammed shut by the flower fairy with a bang.
