After the birth of Tankar's little princess, the beast tide receded.
Just as Li Aili predicted, what attracted the monsters were the children whose life forms had been altered by life alchemy.
Once a child is born, the two bloodlines separated by the alchemy of life will perfectly merge, and then that child will lose its appeal to the monsters.
With the beast tide crisis resolved, the exhausted elves, without taking a break, rushed back to the World Tree and gazed up at the royal court.
Fisher-Nankey clumsily and carefully picked up his daughter, as if she were the most fragile treasure in the world.
Then he took out the Giant Growth Potion and handed it to his wife, saying, "My dear, we are about to introduce our little baby to our people."
Alice flapped her wings and flew around her baby.
Then, to her dismay, she discovered that apart from her head and body, the child did not resemble her in any other way.
Her precious darling doesn't even have a pair of wings, which are standard for flower fairies!
Look at the child's bare back, and then look at that damn Fisher-Nankey.
Alice, who wanted to have a baby that looked even more like a flower fairy, suddenly felt dizzy.
Fisher, understanding his wife's fear and anxiety over the past few days, very considerately applied the giantification potion to her.
Then, he gently took his wife's hand, who was 'moved to tears,' and they walked together to the largest terrace in the royal courtyard.
The elves were all top-tier rangers, and when they saw the king and queen appear on the terrace, they all held their breath.
“My subjects, I will introduce you to the future ‘sun’ of Tankar.”
Fisher-Nankey's voice, carried by the natural wind, reached every corner of the forest.
“She is my eldest daughter, the first heir of Tankar, my successor—Deedlit Alice Tankar!”
Beneath the tree, the elves erupted in cheers like a tidal wave, each wave higher than the last.
Someone shouted the little princess's name, "Deedlit!!"
Then countless people followed, shouting the little princess's name at the top of their lungs.
They seemed to want to tell the name to the wind, so that the wind could carry it further: they, Tankar, had a precious heir.
Looking at the happy family of three nestled together, Li Aili couldn't help but turn her head and gently lean on the arm of the man beside her.
Arthur stared straight ahead, his lips slightly parted, the voice seemingly squeezed out from his clenched back teeth, "When do you plan to hold the postponed wedding?"
He stared at the damned Fisheranki, who had a wife and daughter, his gaze so intense it seemed he wanted to burn a hole in the smug man's back.
Li Aili froze, "..."
"……soon."
Arthur whirled around, squinting at her. "Soon?"
Li Aili: "..."
"You can't expect me to say 'right now'!"
Arthur suddenly grabbed Ellie's hand, as if to propose marriage on the spot.
Li Aili was terrified by him.
It's not that she's afraid of marriage!!
Getting married at someone else's child's 'birthday celebration'! That'll probably dominate the front pages of every newspaper tomorrow!?
"next month!"
"I swear I'll get married next month!"
"If I don't get married, I'll let Emerald City's finances remain in deficit!" That's practically a deadly oath.
Even so, Arthur didn't let her go; his blue eyes turned into vertical pupils.
The man lowered his head slightly and whispered in his fiancée's ear, "I hope my child won't be more than three years younger than my brother-in-law's, okay?"
Li Aili: "…………"
She stomped hard on Arthur's foot, "Don't push your luck."
Arthur didn't even flinch.
Li Aili: "..."
Afterwards, Tankar had to clean up the countless monster corpses on the battlefield while preparing the little princess's 'birth banquet'.
Out of 'friendship', Arthur 'rented' his men to Fishernanki at a high price.
Fisher-Nankey, with one arm around his wife and the other holding his child, smiled and accepted it all.
That bold and unrestrained manner was as if to say: "Since you don't even have a wife, I'll let you make some money."
Arthur, even more heartbroken: "..."
The arrival of the gold coins only made the Duke, who had been obsessed with accumulating wealth for 1000 years, even more unhappy.
So much so that as soon as the 'freshman banquet' ended, he immediately pulled Li Aili away.
Li Aili, who had been brought back by the demon teleportation array, looked at Arthur with a mix of laughter and tears, "I haven't brought that silver dragon back yet!"
Arthur said calmly, "He's a dragon, he'll come looking for me."
Back home, Arthur forcefully grabbed Ellie and led her to the fireplace in the living room on the first floor, where he held her and they warmed themselves by the fire.
"I'm not looking at official documents today."
Li Aili was pressed directly onto the man's hard thigh, forced to act as His Highness's 'pillow'.
“Arthur, it’s not that I don’t want to marry you,” Li Aili sighed softly. “It’s just that a few things happened to happen at the same time.”
Arthur looked up, his blue eyes, reflecting the firelight, looking at Li Aili.
The two stared at each other in silence for a moment, then Arthur slowly spoke, "Ellie... forgive me."
Love is too ethereal and elusive.
"For a thousand years, I have survived for a thousand years thanks to your words."
"I'm so desperate to find something that can hold you..."
His hands were intertwined with Li Aili's, and he wore a pair of storage rings on both hands, which Li Aili had given him 1,000 years ago when she left.
"Ellie, I love you." Arthur hugged Ellie tightly.
His nose nestled in the crook of her neck. "I love you, to the very soul."
Arthur, 1000 years later, is too silent.
Compared to the slightly introverted Second Prince of the Holy Dragon 1000 years ago, the Duke 1000 years later prefers to keep everything to himself, planning and bearing everything silently.
