"Life is still very difficult?"
Dyson paused in his act of fetching water for the guest, his expression somewhat somber, and nodded, saying:
"The prices for crops in those sky cities are getting lower and lower."
"But the amount of money we spend on supplies from them keeps increasing."
Bognar smiled and glanced at Li Aili beside him.
“I brought a friend with me this time. Tell her about your predicament; maybe she can help you.”
Upon hearing this, Dyson paused in his act of fetching water for the guest.
His gaze swept back and forth across the faces of the women at the table.
After a long pause, the 'simple' cloud giant finally managed to utter, "Excuse me, are you all... dragons?"
Bognar: "?"
Li Aili: "..."
Wendy Shani said, bewildered, "Of course not!"
Debbie, who had been eavesdropping in the kitchen, wiped her hands on her apron and rushed out.
She picked up the broken bowl of water in front of Wendy Shani and poured most of the water back into the wooden bucket.
In the end, only the bottom of the bowl was left for the bewildered female elf.
"You're not a dragon, you shouldn't need to drink so much water!"
Wendy Shane: "???"
Dyson looked a little embarrassed. "Debbie! Go back to the kitchen and cook!"
Li Aili couldn't bear to watch any longer and couldn't help but ask:
"So, if you need help, you can try telling me."
"Perhaps I can help you think of a solution."
Hearing this, Dyson looked at her suspiciously, "Can you make it rain?"
Li Aili: "Huh?"
Dyson then asked, "Could you make our food more expensive?"
"At least, so that my income can cover our expenses."
Li Aili: "May I ask how much you spend each month?"
Dyson said, "One million gold coins."
Li Aili: "???"
