Chapter 168 Seeking Help

A portal opened on the green lawn in front of Clark Palace.

Albert stepped out of the portal, and Victoria affectionately took his hand.

"Honey, did you see those two metal dragons?"

"They're so cute!"

Albert exclaimed, "Indeed, Miss Ellie always manages to create miracles."

As they spoke, a skeletal dragon descended from the sky and perched on Albert's shoulder. "You're back? Was the wedding fun?"

Victoria smiled and said, "We saw two dragons."

Gilmanoa landed on Albert's shoulder, swishing its tail nonchalantly, and said, "What's so special about dragons?"

Victoria teased it deliberately, "They're two metal dragons!"

Gilmanoa's tail froze in mid-air, his jaw agape, making an exaggerated expression of 'surprise'.

"What???"

Victoria chuckled, "Gilmanoa~ didn't you know?"

Gilmanoa: "..."

Albert raised his hand and put Gilmanoa's chin back in place. "Be careful not to dislocate it."

Gilmanoa: "…………"

Victoria crossed her arms behind her back, walking like an innocent and carefree young girl. "So, Albert, shall we change our plans?"

Albert, who was walking ahead, paused slightly, turned around, looked at her, and asked, "Why change?"

Victoria stood there, silent for a moment, and then said softly, "Ah... I thought you really liked those two dragons."

Albert turned around. “I like it. But it doesn’t conflict with our plans.”

Gilmanoa, who was leaning on his shoulder, turned his head and glanced at Victoria.

"Your wife doesn't seem to like our plan very much."

Albert did not speak.

Gilmanoa added, "No matter how many times I try, I will never be able to see that Lee Ellie again in the future."

Albert wore his usual smile. "Then let's think of a way."

"During this time, try to distract them by doing something."

...

Li Aili opened her eyes, her head resting on a strong arm.

She turned her head expressionlessly, and sure enough, Arthur was already awake.

"No matter what other ideas you come up with today, if I step out of my bedroom, you... will bear the consequences."

Arthur casually pulled Li Aili into his arms, "Hmm?"

"Tell me, for example?"

Li Aili lowered her eyes and looked at her restless hands. "For example, Alice once asked me to customize an alchemical potion."

She pinched the skin on the back of the 'claw' hand and rotated it 360 degrees. "After a man drinks that potion, he will have no desires."

"Honey, would you like to try it?"

Arthur: "…………"

finally.

On the fifth day of her marriage, Li Aili finally stepped out of the bedroom.

Just then, Conrad walked over from the corner of the stairs.

Upon seeing Li Aili, the elegant butler was genuinely surprised. "I thought I would see you again after the honeymoon."

Li Aili: "..." Her lips twitched slightly.

"Thank you for your kind words, but I don't want to be the first city lord to 'die' in bed, so please allow me to refuse."

Conrad smiled slightly, "You're still as humorous as ever."

"Madam, do you still remember the 'Dragon Slayer Squad'?"

Li Aili, one hand on her waist, walked step by step towards the stairs. "Of course I remember."

Seeing how hard she was walking, Conrad said, "If you're really feeling unwell, you can brew yourself a potion of alchemy."

"I think it was called 'Energy Potion'."

"Your potion has been highly praised by the knights of the Order."

Upon hearing this, Li Aili took a deep breath. "No, that was a mistake I made on the third day. I will never make it again."

On the third day, she had already gotten out of bed in the bedroom.

As a result, my legs gave way and I ended up sitting directly on the thick wool carpet.

What did the satisfied men on the ship say at that time?

'Why not use your potion? The kind that instantly restores stamina.'

Li Aili felt that she must have been driven crazy by the ordeal, because she actually took it out and drank a bottle.

So much so that she regretted it all day long on the fourth day. (smiling face.jpg)

This morning, she belatedly recalled the time when the flower fairy was newlywed... that's how she handed over a bottle of energy potion, which then caused her best friend a lot of trouble.

Li Aili closed her eyes in pain.

"By the way, why did you suddenly bring up the Dragon Slayer Squad?" Li Aili limped down the stairs, her hands gripping the handrail.

"I'll have someone come to the castle tomorrow to build a teleportation array..." She stopped herself halfway through her sentence.

Any detail that makes life easier can lead to someone being dehumanized.

"Never mind what I said, let's continue our previous topic. What happened to the Dragon Slayer Squad?"

Conrad said, "They seem to be in big trouble. The wood elf captain has come to you for help."

Li Aili: "!!"

Conrad said, "They are in the drawing room right now."

As soon as Conrad finished speaking, Li Aili took out a bottle of 'energy potion', gulped it down, and rushed to the small reception room on the second floor of the castle.

Push open the door.

The two wood elves looked haggard.

Leslie gently put her arm around Wendy's shoulder, and the two wood elves pressed their foreheads together, comforting each other.

"What happened?" Seeing their expressions, Li Aili knew that something serious must have happened.
