The Dharma Saints were exceptionally 'enthusiastic'.
We will surely give the cloud giant justice.
This is no longer the era of divine wars; even mages can't just casually cast forbidden spells on arcane mages.
These days, "literary battles" are all the rage. People call on reporters from hundreds of newspapers and magazines to try and get their arch-rivals on the front page.
The spellcaster jokingly referred to it as a 'public opinion curse'.
As the old saying goes, the one who understands you best is always your arch-enemy.
The Archmages made their move and completely destroyed the arcane spells set up by the Grand Arcanists.
When the first drop of rain fell on Dyson's cloud kingdom, regardless of what others thought, Dyson, who had never seen rain in his life, stared blankly up at the rain clouds in the sky.
The honest and kind-hearted cloud giant tremblingly stretched out his hand, greedily catching the rain falling from the sky, laughing, laughing and then crying.
Debbie hurriedly brought out all the dishes in the house, and then a light drizzle began to fall.
Hundreds of newspaper reporters held up photo-taking stones and frantically photographed this truly moving scene.
With the water crisis at Cloud Giants resolved, Li Aili quietly led her friends away, not wanting to run into that famous lawyer again.
Li Aili quietly tore up the teleportation scroll, left the clouds, and returned to Constantinople, which she had been away from for a month.
Upon exiting the portal, one could see that the castle's forecourt was occupied by two distinct groups of knights.
On one side were the Cold Emerald Knights, clad in dark mithril armor, and on the other side were the Royal Knights, clad in silver mithril armor and belonging to the royal family.
Although they were gathered in twos and threes, they stood clearly on the left and right sides of the front courtyard, as if there was an invisible Chu-Han border in the middle.
Li Aili: "..."
Assange, who had followed him out of the portal, whistled upon hearing this, "'Tin Can' meeting?"
As soon as he finished speaking, both the 'Black Knight' and the 'White Knight' turned their gazes toward him like unsheathed swords, as if they wanted to stare Assange to death on the spot.
Li Aili: "..." She silently moved a little further away.
Just then, Conrad walked over quickly but with an air of elegance.
"Madam, Master has returned."
Upon hearing this, Li Aili was overjoyed and walked briskly towards the castle.
She was about to ask Arthur when he had returned, whether he was injured, whether he was in the study, and what about the knight in the courtyard...
Then Conrad said, "Madam, the King has sent a delegation, and the Master is receiving them in the reception room."
Li Aili paused, "An envoy?"
Conrad said, "His Highness has captured Salt Lake City."
Salt Lake City is right next to the capital. Li Aili was stunned after hearing this and had no idea how to react.
Who would have thought that a casual remark I made last time would almost come true this time?
Arthur Cold Jade has not yet ascended the throne, but he is not far from doing so.
"Conrad, how long have I been gone?" Li Aili couldn't help but wonder if there was a time difference between the Cloud Giants and Constantinople.
She wasn't gone for a month, but for a year.
Conrad said, "Counting from the day you left, it has been 29 days until today."
Great, the timing is fine.
The problem is the speed at which her boyfriend waged war; he nearly crushed the king's army in just one month.
There is a river between Xijun and the capital, called the Pearl River.
A month ago, Li Aili overheard Edward mentioning that the Cold Emerald Knights had cleared out the area west of Pearl River last month.
"I'll go change my clothes first." Li Aili turned and walked towards the dressing room.
While changing her clothes, Li Aili was thinking about this.
'Knock knock knock,' the door to the dressing room was knocked on.
"Madam, it is I, Joanna."
Li Aili is being driven crazy by decision paralysis.
If she hadn't been certain, even in a world teeming with magic, a walk-in closet couldn't possibly 'grow' the latest and most fashionable dresses of high society on its own.
Li Aili was starting to wonder if her secret weapon was this walk-in closet that could automatically "grow new dresses"!
Joanna pushed Li Aili in front of the dressing mirror and made her sit down, pressing her shoulders.
Joanna, like a busy little bee, immediately turned around to choose a dress for Ellie.
"Do you know about the war?" Li Aili couldn't help but tell Joanna about the shocking news she had just learned.
Joanna said, "Yes."
Li Aili asked in astonishment, "Aren't you shocked? I still find it a bit unbelievable. To fight all the way to the capital in a month, is it really not a trap?"
Joanna joked, "Everyone knows that the most successful thing our King did was to do nothing after he ascended the throne."
Li Aili: "..."
Joanna grabbed a few dresses and rushed over.
She gestured towards Li Aili as she said, "In fact, I've heard that the King didn't do nothing either."
"The royal capital has long since established some kind of association, oh right, the Hermitage."
This platinum lace one looks even better; it matches His Highness's black tuxedo coat perfectly today.
Li Aili: "Then what about this one? And then what? What will happen to the hermit?"
Joanna helped her change into a gorgeous dress covered in embroidered lace. "The news has spread far and wide now, because the leader of the Secret Order was beheaded by the king."
Li Aili: "?"
Joanna: "Ah, it is said that the purpose of the Secret Order was to split the three dukes."
Joanna seized the opportunity: "Inhale."
Li Aili took a deep breath, and Joanna pulled her hard.
