Chapter 174 Alchemy House Reward

Resources are extremely scarce in the underground city.

There is no sun or moon here, and it is 3,000 meters underground, making it impossible for most crops to grow.

Therefore, the food sources for the inhabitants of the dungeon are either some strange magical plants or some hideous monsters.

But often, these monsters that successfully survive in harsh environments become so powerful that they make you question the meaning of life.

Water is another survival challenge.

There is water underground.

However, clean water resources are often surrounded by powerful dungeons or dominated by powerful monsters.

In short, eating and drinking are major problems here.

“...to transform a large amount of low-grade gold into a small amount of rare high-grade gold.” Li Aili wrote and drew on the small blackboard.

"Go back and think about the iron formula for today's homework. We'll test it out in class tomorrow."

The dwarves, who had been diligently taking notes in class, stopped writing and carefully put away the parchment that Ellie had given them.

Then they would gather in twos and threes to discuss possible recipes for smelting iron.

Li Aili quietly left the classroom, leaving it to the dwarves who were engrossed in their studies.

"Is this alchemy?" A strange man's voice suddenly came from behind her, startling her.

Li Aili immediately turned around and saw the white-haired man leaning against the wall of the opposite stone house; she didn't know how long he had been standing there.

"It's just a part of alchemy."

Li Ai Li had heard Arthur mention this person.

Or rather... God.

'He' is the 'Mr. Know-It-All' that the dwarves talk about.

Previously, when Arthur mentioned this man who seemed to be a god, Li Aili wanted to meet 'him'.

Unfortunately, this 'mysterious gentleman' didn't seem to want to see her.

Li Aili searched the entire dwarf village but couldn't find this 'mysterious gentleman'.

Unexpectedly, today's alchemy class 'hooked' this guy out.

The white-haired man picked up a stone at random.

The stone turned to dust in 'his' hands, and then reformed into a new stone...

To the naked eye, there's nothing unusual about it.

A sudden inspiration struck Li Aili, and she quietly activated the Sage's Heart.

Her perspective was completely refreshed.

At the same time, we can see clearly what that stone, which has been 'flattened and rolled', is going through...

The physical form of the stone is destroyed, then a new physical form is born, and then it is destroyed again... and so on in a cycle.

Simply put, this person created countless new stones in the blink of an eye.

Yes, 'creation'.

To fabricate new things out of thin air.

What appears to be a new stone to others is actually a new type of rock that has never been seen before in this world.

Li Aili: "..." At least, one can be certain that this person must be a god.

After trying a hundred times, the white-haired god stopped trying, casually tossed the stone aside, and lazily shrugged, "Completely unworkable."

He then turned to Li Aili, "How many of the dwarves do you think will succeed?"

Instead of answering, Li Aili asked, "What do you think?"

Mr. 'Knows Everything' smiled and said, "Ah, I don't know."

"The gods of this world are indeed omniscient and omnipotent. But this refers to the scope of this world."

The man, whose face was mostly obscured by white hair, pointed to the classroom and said, "The alchemy inside, and you, are both 'out of bounds'."

This is an indirect admission that he is a god.

However, the mysterious god made no attempt to introduce himself, but instead strode towards the dwarf tavern, saying, "You seem to want to see me?"

"What's wrong?" 'he' asked curiously.

Li Aili hesitated for a moment, "Before that, may I ask which side you are on?"

Light, Platinum Dragon God, or Neutral.

The white-haired man chuckled softly, "Why can't I be standing at a 'higher' level?"

Li Aili: "?"

Seeing Li Aili's puzzled expression, the white-haired deity's tone became a little cheerful, "The question you asked is like asking me, 'If two children are fighting, whose side are you on?'"

"But is it possible that I am the 'parent' of these two children?"

Li Aili: "..."

Who can be the 'parent' of the Platinum Dragon God and the God of Light?

Li Aili only had one god in her mind, the legendary first god-king who created the world and then left to 'play outside'.

"So, what is your question?" The white-haired man pushed open the door and walked into the tavern, using one hand to prop open the door and gesture for Li Aili to come in.

At first, she just wanted to give it a try and ask this "all-knowing" man if he knew about the drow who kidnapped Assange and Charmond.

Li Aili took a deep breath. "Can I ask a few questions?"

The white-haired man expertly held up one finger to the dwarf behind the bar, "A 'Stone Beer,' Ken."

The dwarf's thick eyebrows shot up. "Damn it, you drunkard, you haven't forgotten that you owe me a month's worth of drinks, have you!"

"I have a feeling I'll be able to settle my drink bill tomorrow." The white-haired man didn't seem to mind the tavern owner's bad temper at all.

Then, 'he' held up three fingers to Li Aili, 'Three questions.'

Li Aili asked cautiously, "Will you answer all my questions truthfully?"

The man shook his head slightly. "Yes. Alright, now you have two questions left."
