Was Arthur in this secret room when he was in the underground dungeon?
Conrad turned on the magic lamp in the secret room for Ellie.
Li Ai Li had a gut feeling that if she entered this secret room, she would discover many of Arthur's secrets.
“Madam,” Conrad urged.
Li Aili pursed her lips slightly and stepped into the secret room.
Conrad then reached to close the door.
"Conrad, the door doesn't need to be closed."
Conrad hesitated for a moment, bowed slightly to Li Aili, and then quickly left.
The hurried footsteps gradually faded into the distance.
The magic lamp inside the secret room emitted a cool white light, illuminating the entire room.
Li Aili entered the secret room and looked around at the furnishings.
It's like an antique collection room.
Old objects from a long time ago are piled up everywhere.
There are clocks that look like they were once very expensive, and also unidentified statues with broken faces.
Li Aili felt relieved; her boyfriend didn't have any shameful fetishes.
The only odd things in the room were a chair and a low rectangular coffee table placed in the center.
There was no bed in the room.
Just thinking about how Arthur used to sit in this very chair all day long...
She couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him.
This chair faces the wall on the left as you enter.
Only this wall is free of cluttered collectibles.
A huge painting was hanging on the wall, covered by a red velvet curtain.
Li Aili looked at the chair, then at the painting on the wall.
Does Arthur sit here and stare at this painting all day?
What does this painting depict?
She walked over as if possessed, reached out her hand, and wanted to look at the painting.
Just as her fingertips touched the velvet curtain, she suddenly changed her mind.
"Forget it, now is not the time to dwell on this kind of thing." Li Aili withdrew her hand and turned to leave the secret room.
Just as she turned around, the heavy curtain suddenly slid down with a 'whoosh' sound.
Li Aili was startled and turned around in surprise, only to see the huge painting on the wall.
The woman in the painting startled Li Aili at first, then her ears burned and turned slightly red.
The bright and beautiful girl in the painting is her.
She was dressed in a magnificent court dress, holding a lace folding fan inlaid with precious gems, sitting in a chair, smiling slightly as she looked at the world outside the painting.
Li Aili: "!!"
Her face flushed involuntarily, her heart pounded wildly, and she frantically picked up the huge curtain from the ground, preparing to cover the painting again.
However, just as she stood up and approached, Li Aili inadvertently glanced at the signature on the corner of the painting.
The handwriting was extremely familiar to her.
Because when she watched men working in the study, she saw the same handwriting and signature on paper countless times.
[In the first year of the Holy Dragon Era, 5982, this was given to my dearest one.]
The Holy Dragon Era...wasn't that over a thousand years ago?
Isn't the person in this painting her?
My dearest person
These words seemed to have pierced her mind.
Li Aili felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head.
I felt cold from head to toe.
She kept backing away until she stepped on the curtain on the ground and fell backward.
The 'guests' in her shadow swarmed out, transforming into a bouncy cushion that caught Li Aili.
However, there were too many Shadow Fiends that suddenly appeared, and they directly bumped into the 'rectangular low coffee table' behind them.
With a "bang," the tabletop of the low table fell to the ground.
Li Aili turned around and saw what was behind her. She covered her mouth with both hands to stop herself from screaming.
That wasn't a table at all, but a pitch-black coffin.
The Shadow Demon realized he had caused trouble and quickly and guiltily put the coffin lid back on.
But it was too late; Li Aili had already seen inside... a headless skull.
She was so frightened that she turned and ran outside.
Unfortunately, I tripped over the wrinkled fairy handmade rug.
Staggering a couple of steps, Li Aili looked down and saw the blood-red symbols protruding from the ground.
This symbol should have been covered by the carpet.
Li Aili reached out and lifted the carpet.
Below, all that could be seen were countless incomprehensible blood-red symbols.
The dried blood appeared dark red under the white light.
Li Aili felt a chill spread throughout her body.
What kind of person is Arthur Cold Jade? Does she really understand him?
Li Aili just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.
So she took out a teleportation scroll, intending to fill in the spatial coordinates, but her mind went completely blank.
"I want to go to the West Forest, to the West Forest... The coordinates of the West Forest are..."
It won't work.
Li Aili went straight into the alchemy room.
He rummaged through the refrigerator for materials and quickly concocted a 'forced calming potion' for himself.
He drank a bottle of alchemical potion and instantly calmed down.
Having calmed down a bit, Li Aili didn't forget to sweep the carpet before leaving the alchemy room.
Let the carpet cover the blood symbol on the floor again.
He picked up the curtain and tossed it upwards to cover the portrait, and even remembered to turn off the lights when he left.
Leaving the castle's underground, Li Aili calmly activated the teleportation scroll and arrived at the villa in the West Forest.
She looked up at the moon in the sky.
One-sixth of the moon has already reached above the castle.
The Golden Knight sensed the fluctuations in the space and immediately charged out.
Upon seeing that it was Li Aili, I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Madam, you're back?" the Golden Knight Alexi asked cautiously.
As expected, Conrad did not trust these Golden Knights.
