Aren't you a paladin?!
Aren't you invincible?!
Why did you make yourself look so disheveled?!
These questions lingered in Li Aili's chest, making her angry, but even more heartbroken.
When she finally reached Arthur Cold Jade, the words that came out of her mouth were, "...Does it still hurt?"
The Duke's blue crystal eyes searched around but he couldn't find anyone.
"What's this about the prophecy you mentioned?" Arthur asked directly.
He gestured to the medic holding the bandages.
Li Aili never expected that this would be the first thing Arthur would say to her.
"Is this what you want to tell me now? Arthur Cold Jade, think carefully before you answer!"
The medic, holding his breath and trembling, stepped forward and deftly wrapped the Duke's blackened eye sockets with gauze.
Then came the various corrosive dents on his body.
Outside the tent, the cries of knights could be heard.
"Your Highness! Your Highness! Thank you for saving my life! I swear to serve you to the death!"
Arthur Cold Jade waved his hand impatiently, "I'm not here to save you. Also, those outside, drag the person away."
"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!"
Then came the sound of a heavy object being dragged away, as if the knight who had just been weeping and pledging his loyalty was being pulled away.
The Duke looked with his only remaining eye toward the place where Li Aili had made her voice.
"Ellie, we can talk about unimportant things after this war is over."
The medic finished bandaging the wounds and forgot to take the medical kit, running away as if fleeing.
Before leaving, he glanced with awe at the Duke of the North guarding the entrance to the tent.
Arthur stood up and quickly put on his clothes as he asked, "So, Ellie, is there really a prophecy?"
Arthur said, "If not, we will begin the siege."
Li Aili quickly replied, "The Sphinx prophesied that the Knights' siege would fail."
Upon hearing this, Arthur turned his head and exchanged a glance with Winter Wolf, who was standing at the entrance of the tent.
But he didn't seem surprised.
"Is there anything else?" the man pressed.
Li Aili's tone turned cold. "No."
"What do you mean? You don't believe me? Or do you insist on fighting this war?"
Leng Feicui stood up. "You go back first. Donglang and I will handle the rest."
Upon hearing this, the Duke of the North approached and said, "Madam, we cannot say more here. Please return home first."
She was so angry that the medicine was almost completely worn off!
"good!"
Li Aili turned and left.
"To hell with it," Li Aili thought. "If I get involved in his nonsense again, I'll change my surname!"
Seeing her footprints leading towards him, Donglang hurriedly lifted the tent flap for Li Aili.
Stepping out of the tent, I saw the knights of the Cold Jade Knights guarding the entrance.
The Grand Duke of the North, while staring at the footprints on the ground, hurriedly said, "Everyone's alright, you can go inside."
The Cold Emerald Knights swarmed in, ignoring the Northern Grand Duke who was chasing after something.
The two-meter-tall Grand Duke of the North followed behind Li Aili.
It's remarkable that someone with his personality could still manage to scratch his head and squeeze out a couple of sentences.
"Go back, don't wander off."
Wolf Winter Wolf racked his brains for words, "It's not safe outside! Don't wander off!"
Li Aili felt heartbroken.
Look at what this big oaf is saying, it's more considerate than what that jerk in the tent is saying!
But she couldn't help wondering if Arthur was injured...
So you have a bad temper?
Even healing medicine can't cure it...
But she's an alchemist; she can make alchemical potions that are even better than healing potions.
Suddenly, Li Aili felt a pang of regret; she should have drunk another bottle of the forced calming potion before coming out.
Look at her now, the effects of her medicine are almost completely ruined by anger.
Li Aili really didn't want to stay here any longer.
She touched the whistle on her chest, put it in her mouth, and blew it hard.
Soon, the little blue bird flew over.
Upon seeing the bluebird, the Duke of the North secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, before he could finish exhaling, the bugle call of war suddenly rang out in the military camp.
A large group of warriors from the North ran over.
"The city gates suddenly opened!"
"Damn! This little coward is finally not hiding his cowardice anymore!"
"The one who came out to fight is that Arman Coran!"
Winter Wolf immediately forgot about Li Aili and hurriedly turned around to urge, "Hurry up and go back!"
The warriors of the North surrounded their duke.
The entire military camp was in an uproar, like a war chariot about to set off.
Soon, Winter Wolf disappeared among the hurried knights.
Li Aili silently accepted the second teleportation scroll handed to her by Bluebird.
They are preparing to activate the teleportation scroll.
Then the curtain of the medical tent was lifted.
Arthur Cold Jade strode out from inside.
"Sword." His voice was filled with joy, as if he were about to embark on a grand feast.
Li Aili sensed something was wrong and looked in the direction of the sound.
The duke, whose face was half-covered in gauze, was now dressed in armor. He stretched out one hand and asked the knight beside him for his sword.
The man's thin lips curved in a strange way, the corners of his mouth curving upwards.
Half of his face, perfectly intact, wore a crazy and wicked smile.
Li Aili: "..."
Li Aili: "!!!"
Who is this guy?
Thinking about it again, this scene seems familiar!
Has something similar happened in Red Pomegranate Territory?
However, she found out last time.
OK!
So you've really learned your lesson. This time, you were afraid she'd find out, so you deliberately said something to provoke her and send her away, right?
