Chapter 228 The Correct Use of Leongor

Albert is very busy.

He was busy welcoming allies who had joined his camp to fight against 'fate'.

Li Ai Li and Arthur were arranged to stay in the most luxurious guest room in the palace. It was already past midnight, but Arthur and Li Ai Li showed no signs of resting.

The duke held a wine glass, his face expressionless as he looked down out the window.

As night fell, one magic lamp after another hung on the carriage, resembling a long string of beads when viewed from above.

Li Aili looked at the long line of carriages below with a complicated expression. "It's already past midnight, and so many people are still rushing here."

She said softly, "Darling, have you ever had this feeling? You thought you were here to help your brother, who's desperate and isolated by the prejudices of the world, but when you arrived, you found..."

"Your older brother is a total social butterfly."

The people sitting in this carriage are not ordinary soldiers; anyone who can get here at this time is undoubtedly a leader of a faction.

Arthur's face was half-hidden in shadow, making it impossible to see his expression. He took a sip of red wine and gave an ambiguous "hmm".

Li Aili noticed he seemed preoccupied. "What's wrong?"

Arthur swirled his glass. "I'm thinking, maybe I never really understood Albert."

Just as Li Aili was about to say something, there was a gentle knock on the door. "Your Highnesses, good night."

A voice as clear as a Victoria nightingale came from outside the door, “An elf named Leongor has come, saying he has come at the summons of the two princes.”

Li Aili went to open the door and, sure enough, saw the tall, elegant elf following behind Victoria.

"Thank you for your help, Victoria."

Victoria's beautiful eyes darted between Li Aili and Leongor, and she smiled slightly, "Very well then, I've already arranged a room for this elf gentleman."

"The death knight at the door will then take him to his room to rest."

After saying this, Victoria lifted her skirt, curtsied to Li Aili, and left with the small magic lamp for illumination.

Li Aili stepped aside, and Leongor entered the room.

"Leongor, did you bring the things?"

When Li Ai Li sent the message to Leongor, she gave him the recipe for the 'Magic Lamp Potion'.

Leongor took out a large, dark, gooey dumpling.

It was so big that the elf's hand could barely hold it.

Even though Li Aili was somewhat prepared, her lips twitched slightly when she saw this. "Are you sure this is a finished product?"

Leongor's eyes widened, and he immediately swore to Li Aili, "I swear on the honor of the two gold adventurers still lying in Emerald City Hospital! This is absolutely a finished product!"

Li Aili: "..."

She didn't really want to investigate why two Gold-level adventurers were lying in the hospital.

Arthur looked at the 'dirty' big dumpling in the elf's hand with resistance in his eyes.

Of course, Ellie wouldn't let Arthur try it.

Without hesitation, she pulled out a Demon Summoning Scroll.

Elf King's younger brother: (⊙o⊙)!

So this is how the devil can be used! A whole new world has opened up for me!

[No more worrying about lab mice consuming energy too quickly!]

Li Aili's lips twitched slightly.

The devil... he should be able to withstand it, right?

One of the devils has already answered the call and stepped out of the summoning gate.

"Devilish Salesperson, at your service, what do you need?" the devil asked with a professional smile.

Without hesitation, Li Aili thrust a huge 'meatball' straight at him.

"The task is simple: take this medicine." Li Aili smiled kindly. "It protects against heart disease and is non-toxic."

The demon: "..." For some reason, all the bone spurs on its tail exploded.

It was clearly the simplest order ever.

The devil took the pill and joked with the beautiful human woman in front of him, "Miss, if devils were so easy to kill, believe me, those hairy 'birdmen' would have wiped us out long ago."

After saying that, he didn't care at all. He opened his blood-red mouth, revealing sharp, serrated teeth, and then took a bite, biting off more than half of the 'big meatball' in his hand.

Chewing, chewing...chewing.

Li Aili thoughtfully handed her a glass of water at the right time, saying, "Are you choking a little? Here, drink some water to help it down."

The devil was disgusted by the strange smell of the 'big dumpling' and stuck out his long tongue.

He was completely baffled. "What the hell is this?! Is it troll poop?! Are there really people this bored that they'd tear off a VIP ticket just to feed the devil poop?!"

Li Aili kept her eyes straight ahead, pretending not to see the long string of fiery red bubbles above the devil's head.

"It only counts if you finish eating," Leongor added at the crucial moment.

devil:"…………"

The devil remained expressionless and swallowed the rest whole.

"I'm done eating, it's nothing..."

The slightly disgusted devil was just about to say goodbye to this awful client and go back to hell to gag his throat.

As a result, when he opened his mouth, he exhaled a puff of pale red mist.

devil:"???"

The red mist coalesced into a large red sphere.

The devil was stunned. "It seems like an alien creature came out of my mouth?"

The large red ball flapped its wings merrily, then answered the question with 'excitement': 【Yes!】

Clearly, Big Ball is more than happy to answer this kind of pointless and idiotic question.

Li Aili and Arthur: "..."

Even after seeing it twice, Leongor still found it fascinating. "These otherworldly creatures are really interesting; they seem to know everything."

Not daring to waste any time, Li Aili immediately asked the question she had already thought of, "Does the current Undead Monarch Albert hate the living?"
