When Li Aili opened her eyes, her nose was filled with the fragrance of flowers.
She opened her eyes drowsily and found herself lying in the 'giant's' bed.
Once the drowsiness had completely vanished, she realized that the bed was still the same bed, only she herself had shrunk.
She was surrounded by yellow flowers that were bigger than her, and they almost buried her.
Li Aili closed her eyes in despair. It had been a week, really a week. When would this end?
Speaking of the origin of these flowers...
A loud roar came from outside the window: "Damn it! Peipei! You've practically ripped me bald! I'm going to beat your ass until it's bursting today!"
Li Aili: "..."
"What are you doing?" The duke, who had just entered the room, lifted the bed curtains and saw his petite and lovely wife burying flowers in the quilt.
Li Aili was startled by the sudden sound and shuddered.
She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was the Duke, and quickened her pace. "I'm helping a brat destroy evidence."
The Duke chuckled softly, "So kind-hearted?"
Li Aili said solemnly, "No, I'm just afraid of being implicated as an accomplice."
The little tree spirit named Peipei, for some reason, keeps plucking flowers from the big tree spirit's hair every day to repay Li Aili for saving her life.
You should know that the flowers on the tree spirits' heads grew on their own.
Then, after more than a week of Peipei's 'efforts'.
The little flower on Aunt Pepe Badam's hair has finally been pulled bald.
Li Aili felt that he wasn't repaying a debt of gratitude, but rather seeking revenge.
The Duke scooped up his wife and gently placed her on his shoulder.
He couldn't help but turn his head to look, and there was his lovely little wife sitting on his shoulders.
Judging by the timeline, his wife should return to her normal size around today or tomorrow.
The Duke led Ellie to the restaurant.
At the dining table, Conrad bent down and placed a miniature dining table, chairs, and cutlery in front of the Duke's table.
This is a set of miniature furniture that Conrad specially commissioned a carpenter to make overnight, specifically for his wife after she shrunk.
The Duke extended his hand, and Ellie jumped onto his palm, which then carried her to the tableware set.
The Duke, now seated, tirelessly chopped the food from his plate into tiny pieces the size of rice grains and fed it to Li Aili.
Li Aili felt that becoming smaller wasn't so unacceptable.
For example, she used to eat delicious little fairy cookies, and she would eat half a box at a time and still feel like she hadn't had enough.
But now, she can eat until she's stuffed with just a tiny bit of cookie crumbs.
After serving Li Aili, the Duke enjoyed watching the miniature Li Aili rice for a while before starting his own breakfast.
He had a habit of flipping through the newspaper while eating breakfast.
Then, when he picked up today's "Magic World Monthly," his movement of holding the newspaper stopped abruptly.
“My dear,” the Duke said in a flat tone.
"What?" Li Aili was trying to sneak a crumb of cookie from the plate of cookies right under the Duke's nose.
"Have you considered taking on another senior apprentice?"
Li Aili: "...What?" She was a little confused.
The Duke put down his newspaper, his blue eyes fixed on the headline, and said, "Oh, I suggest we switch to something less troublesome."
Li Aili, with her short legs, ran up to the Duke, rummaged through the newspaper, and was caught off guard by the heart-stopping headline:
Shocking!? The Magical Exchange Summit has been attacked?!
Subtitle: The fate of more than twenty Demon Tower Masters remains unknown!
Li Aili: "..." Is this the magic exchange summit she knows about?
The following image shows the venue of this magic exchange summit.
It was a floating island.
However, this floating island was frozen into a huge block of ice.
Li Aili's eyelids began to twitch uncontrollably.
She managed to calm herself down and continued reading the main text:
The number of victims currently counted is in the thousands, all of whom were registered arcane mages of the Magic Association, including more than a dozen great masters of the Magic Tower.
They are, respectively, the Lord of Demonic Flames...
Oh ho, her eldest disciple's revenge list number one...
Then there's the Lord of Flames (No. 2), the Lord of Fire Towers (No. 3), the Lord of Crimson (No. 4)...
She closed her eyes.
I had naively thought that the so-called magic exchange summit was just a matter of everyone going on stage to perform a magic trick and then leaving the stage with applause.
I'll go on stage and throw an alchemical potion to seal your magic, then we'll all perform a pupil earthquake together, followed by a seal-like clapping performance.
The main focus is on harmony, friendship, and common progress.
As it turned out, the real-life version of the magical exchange summit was that her "Monkey King" actually went to the "Western Paradise" and used an ice potion to blow up the happy hometown of "a group of Buddhas".
Li Aili couldn't even imagine the effect of using 10 bottles of Frost Potion together.
Oh no, she knows now.
I saw a huge picture on the front page.
The entire floating island was plunged into the Ice Age!!!
Li Aili: "..." She raised her head and paused for a moment.
He said to Arthur Cold Jade, "Bury him, he's beyond saving."
Of course, that was said in anger.
Just like the nonsense she spouted with the scheming female marquis.
As the master of a magic tower who had abandoned her faith in the god of magic, Li Aili would rather break her teeth than fail to protect her 'founding disciple'.
The Duke immediately summoned a group of men.
These people were not knights; they were dressed in black ranger attire and exuded a sinister aura as if they had been living in darkness for many years.
