Chapter 54 Severing Their Faith

After saying that, Catherine left in a hurry.

Li Aili walked to the window and looked down.

The castle was filled with fully armed knights; you could almost smell the tension in the air.

Li Aili looked out the window at the sky.

With two pillars of the nation collapsing in succession, an invisible gloom has descended upon the capital of the Holy Dragon Kingdom.

The meeting lasted a day and a half.

After the meeting, Arthur went to Ellie's room.

He didn't say anything, went into the room, found a sofa, and sat down quietly.

Looking out the window, the setting sun was like blood.

Caesar Dragon rested his large head on Li Aili's knees.

She sat quietly beside him, keeping him company.

A long time passed before Arthur finally spoke, his voice hoarse:

“Albert convinced everyone. Prince Archie’s qualifications were revoked, and he was exiled.”

"Execute immediately."

"We need to get rid of him before Sophia returns."

Li Aili poured him a cup of warm black tea and handed it to him.

Arthur silently accepted the cup.

"Ellie, how could things have turned out like this..."

Li Aili muttered, "Yes, ever since the Winter Wolf Clan's territory was ravaged, one thing after another has happened..."

Her words seemed to awaken Arthur.

Arthur suddenly looked at Ellie, "...Starting with Winter Wolf?"

Li Aili asked blankly, "Isn't that right?"

First, the gods wanted to divide the dragon god's power, and Caesar and Alex argued.

Then……

Li Aili froze, looking at Arthur, an unbelievable guess popping into her mind.

A cloud drifted past the window, obscuring the setting sun.

Inside the room, Arthur's face was shrouded in shadow.

With a crisp 'thud,' Arthur put down his teacup and stood up.

"A mere devil wouldn't dare to lay a hand on the Holy Dragon."

The Platinum Dragon King raised its head, its pupils shrinking to slits, and its dragon scales bristling.

Arthur said to the Platinum Dragon King, "You also need to tell the Dragon God about this."

Upon hearing this, Ellie's heart skipped a beat.

She probably guessed the key point...

Is this God pulling the strings behind the scenes?

Arthur left the room.

The Platinum Dragon King closed its eyes and fell asleep as if hibernating.

Night falls.

Teams of knights rode away from Perkinsin Palace.

Soon, bonfires lit up in many places throughout the capital.

There was a knock on the door, "knock, knock, knock," it was Conrad.

"Please come in, Conrad."

Conrad walked in.

“Miss, by imperial decree, from this day forward, the Holy Dragon will strictly forbid the worship of the God of Deception.”
