Chapter Forty-One: The Holy Dragon

Enormous dragons descended upon the Dragon Tower.

Golden dragon, silver dragon, bronze dragon, brass dragon, copper dragon...

Unlike the evil colored dragons that Li Aili had seen, the metal dragons in front of her had scales that gleamed with a metallic sheen.

They looked even more majestic and sacred, much like the broken and evil dragon gods in mythology.

“Father! Uncle! Brother!” Arthur’s voice was filled with barely suppressed joy.

Li Aili watched him walk quickly forward.

The golden dragon lowered its head, gently approached Arthur, and lightly touched Arthur with its nostril.

Even so, Arthur was still knocked back half a step.

Suddenly, several figures leaped off the dragon's back and landed on one knee with a thud.

Standing upright, these people were tall and robust, clad in dragon scale armor and their faces covered with ferocious dragon scale war beast masks.

The leader removed his helmet and mask, revealing a handsome face with high eyebrows and deep-set eyes.

That look was all too familiar to Li Aili.

The Arthur Cold Jade she knew bore a striking resemblance to this man.

Arthur stood three or four steps away from the tall man. "Father."

The man looked down at him. "Arthur, where's your dragon?"

Arthur: "..."

The man following closely behind Arthur's father took off his helmet, revealing short blond hair, the strands of which were stuck to his forehead with sweat. The face under the visor was very familiar to Li Aili.

Albert, Arthur's brother.

At this point, Li Aili had no more hope of escaping unscathed.

She did indeed time travel, traveling to the Holy Dragon Era, 1200 years ago.

Albert walked over and immediately saw Li Aili standing properly to one side.

He raised an eyebrow and looked at Arthur, lowering his voice to tease, "You've reached this age too."

So, all the handsome men who took off their helmets and revealed their good-looking faces turned their eyes to Li Aili.

Li Aili: "???"

Arthur blushed. "No!"

Arthur's uncles smirked slightly, and one of them walked toward the Holy Dragon Emperor, saying, "Let's go, Your Majesty."

Another tall, handsome, and mature man walked over and said, "Dealing with those mind flayers was really tiring."

"Let's go take a break, have something to eat and a few drinks."

The Arthur family has really good genes; everyone has a slim waist, broad shoulders, long legs, and outstanding features. Any one of them could easily outshine those celebrities from the past.

The Emperor looked down at his Arthur and finally offered only one piece of advice: "Don't always argue with your dragon."

After saying that, he and several princes strode away.

Albert casually patted Arthur on the back. "Keep it up, little brother."

Arthur's face flushed red as he slowly moved down to his neck, furious.

“I say no!” He grabbed Albert’s crimson cloak with one hand.

Albert turned around and said casually, "Jenny, Mary, Amanda... my darlings are all waiting for me to let them know I'm safe."

"Why don't you go play with your little girlfriend, Arthur? Or go and coax your dragon."

Arthur was furious. "She might be from another world!"

Albert looked at Li Aili in surprise, but this time his eyes held more scrutiny.

He said to his dragon companion who was about to slip away in the distance, "Gilmanoa."

Li Aili looked at the platform in the distance and saw a grayish-brown dragon quietly climbing down.

It's like a big cat trying to sneak off the cat tree, only to get caught red-handed.

This dragon is neither a metal dragon nor a colored dragon.

His dragon wings were quite unique; they resembled the wings of a moth rather than those of a giant dragon.

Its body is covered with rings of black markings.

In short, it's a strange-looking dragon with a somewhat thieving appearance.

"Hey Albert, aren't you going to see your girlfriends?"

When Li Aili heard the word 'some', the corner of her mouth twitched.

I never knew Albert was like this!

Albert stared at his dragon for a long while before saying, "Arthur, why don't we settle this young lady in first?"

Arthur looked hesitantly at Albert and his dragon.

"Yes, brother."

Li Aili watched from the side.

Honestly, if there hadn't been so much solid evidence, she wouldn't have believed that the well-behaved, handsome young man in front of her was Arthur Cold Jade, that warmonger.

She was dying of curiosity: what exactly had happened in the past 1,000 years?

It will make Arthur so...

Arthur said apologetically to Ellie, "I'm sorry, if you don't mind, would you mind staying at Perkins Palace for now?"

18-year-old Arthur is already half a head taller than Ellie.

He was only slightly shorter than his brother.

It's hard to imagine that a thousand years later, this thing would completely surpass it, growing to over 1.9 meters tall...

Li Ai Li followed behind Arthur, thinking that Albert would leave with them.

However, Albert simply stood there, smiling as he watched them stand on the teleportation magic circle.

Before the magic circle activated, Li Aili glanced at Albert one more time.

Albert smiled slightly at her and waved goodbye.

With a flash of magical light, Li Aili and Arthur arrived at the first floor of the Dragon Tower.

A beautiful young woman in a fiery red dress walked towards us, her long, wavy, fiery red hair gleaming in the sunlight.

Another familiar face, Victoria.

Victoria lifted her skirt and ran towards them.

She was passionate and beautiful, but she gave Li Aili a very different feeling.

She's lost that crazy side of herself.
