There are about a hundred people in the dark street.
However, judging from the bubbles above their heads, most of them were very resistant to Li Aili's suggestion to farm.
Now that they had the rations given to them by the knights, and their mouths were full of food, they naturally wouldn't object.
But if you give them seeds or alchemical potions, they won't care much.
You can't force someone to do something like this.
It was still a case of being lured by profit.
Having figured things out, Li Aili called over "The Ripper" Thomason, who was happily munching on a wheat cake.
"Here's what I'll do: I'll give you 10 bottles of growth potion and some seeds. You can start by planting some yourself."
Thomason patted his chest and assured Li Aili, "Don't worry... um!"
Then he choked on the wheat cake.
My career points are running low due to excessive shopping.
Li Aili then handed over the task of refining the 'Growth Potion' to her two apprentices and the eager elves.
Furthermore, she contributed the crucible she had swept up in the 'black car'.
The elves, Jasmine, and Jupiter formed a circle and discussed with great interest the possible formula for the 'Plant Growth Potion'.
Li Aili summoned the somewhat dejected minotaur.
After leaving the central city, the Tauren felt like a king who had lost his territory.
I feel so terrible inside.
Seeing the gloomy bubbles above his head, Li Aili immediately said:
“This place will soon become my territory. We can open another alchemy shop here.”
"New land, new journey."
After drinking the chicken soup and eating the promises made by the boss, the minotaur immediately transformed from a 'depressed bull' into a vibrant bull.
"Boss, just tell us what you need us to do!"
Li Aili gave him a gold coin, dozens of silver coins, and a large handful of copper coins.
“Go around Campbell and if you see any farmers, trade some seeds with them.”
"Remember, never reveal that you have a relationship with Campbell."
The minotaur chuckled and scratched his head, "You can rest assured that I'll handle things!"
Li Aili was worried and planned to have a knight accompany him.
But Ba Jin Niu Tizi firmly refused, saying, "No, they'll affect my performance!"
Li Aili: "..."
After Niu Tizi left, there were still a lot of miscellaneous things to do here.
Li Aili felt that she couldn't waste her energy on such trivial matters.
She needed to find help, so she called together her core followers and held a small meeting.
"Joanna, from now on, you will be my housekeeper."
"Edward, you are in charge of matters related to the development of the territory."
"Ben, I entrust the security of the territory to you."
"It's getting late, let's choose a place to set up camp first."
"Tomorrow, we'll go to Tankar to purchase a batch of supplies."
"Let's settle down first, and then we can start discussing the construction issues formally once the official documents for the enfeoffment of the territory arrive."
"Alright, does anyone have any more questions?"
The Golden Knights were overjoyed.
Li Aili entrusted the security of her territory to them, which was undoubtedly a huge sign of trust.
After the meeting, Ben immediately began to delineate patrol areas and appointed Valen as Li Ellie's guardian knight to protect her closely.
They proved themselves in the surprise attack on Constantinople.
Therefore, Edward was no longer so resistant to them.
However, it's not to the point of becoming friends with them.
Joanna went to the knights' wives to discuss what preparations to make.
Li Aili said to Valen, who was following closely behind her:
"Valen, keep watch at the door for me. No one is allowed in without my permission."
Thomason's humble home was temporarily requisitioned.
After closing the door, Li Aili re-entered the alchemy room.
This time, she went up to the second floor.
First of all, a brand new light green graduation certificate appeared on the bookshelf.
The neatly printed text above reads:
This certificate is awarded to Ms. Li Aili, an outstanding graduate of the Herbalism Academy.
Then below are two familiar signatures.
Headmaster of the Alchemy School: Merlin
Professor Michelle, College of Herbalism
Li Aili carefully placed the graduation certificate back on the bookshelf.
Next to this light green graduation certificate is a pale gold admission notice sprinkled with gold leaf.
Congratulations to student Li Aili on being admitted to the Alchemy School - Jinshi Academy!
Below is a familiar signature:
Headmaster of the Alchemy School: Merlin
And a new, unfamiliar signature of my own, written in a mess.
Dean of the Golden Stone Academy: Stone
After reading it, Li Aili put the admission notice back on the bookshelf.
At the same time, a very thick new book appeared on the bookshelf.
The book is called "Turning Stone into Gold".
Li Aili took it out.
Opening the book, the first page prominently displays the words: "The only officially designated textbook of Jinshi Academy."
Li Aili: "..."
She glanced through the table of contents briefly.
Chapter 1: Do you want to be forged into the Philosopher's Stone?
Chapter Two: Then I must become a steadfast alchemist!
Li Aili frowned slightly.
Something feels off about this book.
She continued reading, and the title of the third chapter was: What are you waiting for! Quickly swear to become an alchemist!
Li Aili slammed the book shut.
Okay, something's not right with this book.
She calmly put the thick, 'only designated textbook' back on the bookshelf.
This chapter is not finished, please click the next page to continue reading!
