The dwarven mortal steel fortress far away in the underground city.
The Emperor is helping the dwarves, allies of the Holy Dragon, to defend against the invading Balrogs of the Abyss.
Don't be fooled by the fact that the underground city is not a place where people can live, in the eyes of the surface dwellers.
Darkness, hunger, poverty...
Even so, in the eyes of the abyssal races of the lower plane, this is a 'paradise' that they can only dream of.
A majestic golden dragon was seen coiled on the dwarves' defensive walls.
The golden dragon lowered its head and unleashed a powerful dragon breath at the densely packed fire demons climbing the city walls.
The Golden King annihilated half of the Flame Demons in one go.
The dragon tacitly handed over the rest to the emperor.
However, the Imperial Knight drew his sword.
He raised his hand high, and just as he was about to swing his sword, his pupils suddenly shrank.
After a moment's hesitation, several fire demons climbed onto the city wall.
The accompanying dragon knights delivered the finishing blows, and the metal dragons unleashed their breath one by one.
Vast numbers of fire demons screamed as they plummeted from the 'precipitous city wall' into the abyss.
The first to notice something was wrong was Golden Dragon.
The emperor's aura was terrifyingly low.
The next moment, the Emperor tore open a spatial portal, "Withdraw the troops and return to defend Perkins!"
No one has ever seen an emperor like this.
At this moment, the emperor was more terrifying than the invading abyssal fire demon.
The dwarfs on the city wall were dumbfounded.
They stopped a knight who was preparing to retreat and asked, "Damn it! What's going on!?"
"The invading Abyssal Fire Demons haven't been completely wiped out yet!"
Where are you going?
The towering Holy Dragon Knight glanced at the dwarf who barely reached his thigh and said coldly, "Return to defend Perkins Palace."
The dwarf with a long, reddish-brown beard braided into pigtails stared wide-eyed.
"What?!" he exclaimed.
Then the dwarf complained, "Damn it! We haven't finished dealing with things here yet!"
"Are you just going to wash your hands of this like this?!"
The knights of the Holy Dragon who were stopped were burning with rage.
In the past, these aggrieved people who sought help from the Holy Dragon would not be moved to tears of gratitude to the Holy Dragon's army, but they would at least show basic respect and gratitude.
However, ever since the God of Tricks spread the prophecy of the 'Twin Holy Dragons' destroying the world'...
The Holy Dragon Knights, who fought against the invading creatures from another world, were the first to experience the coldness and warmth of human relationships.
In the past, when they went to war, they were treated like heroes...
The bards sang of their heroic deeds on the battlefield; the girls on both sides of the road enthusiastically threw flowers and handkerchiefs; and the children looked at them with longing.
The children with wooden swords would chase after the Holy Dragon Knights; they would imitate the knights' walk; and they would open their bright eyes and say to the knights: When I grow up, I want to be a Holy Dragon Knight too!
And now...
Even those who speak foul language like this dwarf are considered good.
Not long ago, after a brutal battle, the Holy Dragon Knights were pelted with stones by one of the children they had rescued.
The Holy Dragon Knight was stunned when the stone the child threw hit the cold helmet with a thud.
The child glared at the knight with hatred in his eyes, and, imitating the adults, spat out a mouthful of saliva.
The child's mother grabbed her child in terror and ran away as if fleeing.
The knight's comrade-in-arms was killed in the battle.
It was all to save this child.
That night, the knight asked a question: "I have never doubted the Emperor's decision."
"But now, I really can't understand why we... risk our lives to protect this world that hates us."
The knights of the Holy Dragon stared coldly at the dwarves.
"The Emperor's decree is above all else." With these words, the knights tore open spaces in space.
The dwarves were stunned.
However, the Balrogs that were still invading this place wouldn't give them time to be stunned.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty the King!!"
"The Balrog has begun its siege again!!!"
The dwarf, his eyes bloodshot and breathing heavily, drew his sword and headed toward the city wall.
"Damn Holy Dragon! Damn it!"
"If it weren't for your insistence on protecting the world-destroying twins!"
"There wouldn't be so much suffering in this world!!!"
His roar echoed through the dark dungeon...
...
The Golden Dragon descends directly into the Dragon Tower.
When they dismounted from the back of the Emperor's golden dragon, Albert, Conrad, and the palace guards all knelt down.
"Where is Helena?" he asked, looking down at his silent, head bowed minister. "Where is my wife, Helena?"
Albert looked up. "Father."
"Anniana brought a person of unknown origin into the palace."
"It is now deduced that it was a 'strange dragon' wielding a divine weapon."
The alien dragon is a giant dragon that is not in the current dragon genealogy.
An unknown dragon...
Everyone held their breath, awaiting the emperor's judgment.
"Albert".
Albert raised his head and looked at the emperor, whose armor was burning with the blood of the fire demon.
“Remove Anyana’s name from the family tree.”
"From this day forward, she is no longer the princess of the Holy Dragon."
"Prepare a carriage immediately and send her back to the Holy Monastery of Light."
This makes no sense to Albert.
"I'm going to find your mother." With that, the emperor turned around, preparing to mount his dragon and go find the empress.
However, at this moment, Albert spoke up, "There is one more thing, Father."
The emperor stopped in his tracks. "Speak."
Albert lowered his eyes and said softly, "Sophia is dead."
