Chapter Sixty-Five: What the superiors do, the inferiors follow.

The next day, all the ladies who had received the invitation arrived in Constantinople on time.

The invitation specifically stated that participants should wear clothing that allows for easy movement.

So, no one wore corsets that made it hard to breathe, or crinolines.

But some people don't listen to advice, such as Mrs. Judy Duke.

She learned from her husband that the Knights of Tomorrow had suspended training, and the silver-ranked knights had received an invitation from the Duke of Cold Emerald to travel to Constantinople.

As a result, she started to have more thoughts on things.

...

The following day, among the ladies dressed in light and simple attire, only Julie Duke wore a fuchsia cake dress covered in lace.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous; it truly outshines all others.

She also wore a full set of sapphire jewelry.

Her hair was adorned with an exquisite and luxurious gemstone headband, making her look like a beautiful and adorable Barbie doll.

"Judy, didn't Madam say that you wanted to wear something that would allow for easy movement today?"

Judy blinked innocently. "Oh dear, but this is the simplest dress I own."

The lady immediately fell silent.

Her best friend pulled her away, giving Judy a cold glance.

But this did not affect Judy Duke's good mood at all.

She was like a peacock admiring its own beauty, standing tall and occupying the entire sofa all by herself.

When Li Aili walked in, she immediately spotted Judy Duke, the "human Chanel".

“Oh dear, didn’t Mrs. Duke’s invitation include any dress code suggestions?” Li Aili asked.

Mrs. Duke looked at Ellie, who was only wearing a white shirt and black leggings, and her expression finally cracked.

What happened?

Isn't there going to be a ball at the castle?

Why is she dressed as a man?

[That lousy invitation... could it really be some kind of awful event today?!]

【Ugh! If it weren't for a dance! Who would I be dressed like this for?!】

Li Aili: "..."

Got it, she's here for her boyfriend.

Li Aili nodded slowly, "Then I look forward to your performance today."

After saying that, she clapped her hands, "Girls, let's go! We have a competition with the boys today!"

The ladies looked at each other, but soon their emotions were all stirred up.

Lily and Annie each grabbed one of Li Aili's arms, asking, "A competition? What kind of competition?"

Anne interrogated him, "Damn it! Balk didn't tell me! Is he planning to sleep in the study tonight?"

Li Aili: "..."

Knight Balk, a man who sleeps on a makeshift bed in his study for 180 out of 365 days a year.

“Lily and Anne are so cunning! We also want to get close to the lady,” a knight’s wife complained in a low voice.

Annie, hands on her hips, gripped Li Aili's arm tightly in a possessive gesture, "Hmph~ I won't let you~"

Li Aili arrived at the open space in front of the West Forest with a group of chattering ladies.

The Duke was already waiting here with his Silver Knights.

A large group of handsome men, what a feast for the eyes!

In the past, Li Aili would have mentally scrutinized everyone thoroughly.

But now she has a boyfriend, so we'll only look at her boyfriend.

This was the first time the knights had seen their wives travel so lightly since they had achieved fame and fortune.

They all reminisced about the days when they first met.

Li Aili, in particular, was dressed in men's clothing.

In contrast, the way people looked at Judy Duke was very strange.

The Duke raised an eyebrow slightly, looking at his dashing lady.

Li Aili stopped keeping them in suspense, and Conrad approached with his male servant.

With a clatter, the male servant placed a pile of hoes on the ground.

"Today, we're going to do some farming! Men and women will compete in groups to see who wins in the end," Li Aili announced loudly.

The Duke picked up a hoe with his foot.

This guy is handsome; he looks handsome no matter what he's holding.

The way he leaned on the ground with a hoe was like that of a king leaning on a sword. "A competition? What's the prize for winning?"

The Cavaliers chimed in, "Yeah, we're totally not interested in a game without a prize!"

The ladies also encouraged Li Aili; they had never competed with the men in anything.

Only Bella, the wife of Knight Lance, had her eyes flicker as she looked at Li Aili's retreating figure, her eyes gradually welling up with tears.

Li Aili smiled, "Okay~ then the winner will make a request to the loser~"

Upon hearing this, many knights rubbed their hands together and exchanged knowing glances.

Really? Anything is fine with you?

Li Aili smiled and added, "Don't even think about anything within reasonable limits, like 'dissolving the literary society' or something like that."

Knights: "…………"

Of course, there were also those who were more carefree. Knight Locke raised his hand, "But we are all knights on our side, and you are all ladies on your side. This kind of grouping is really... ugh!"

Before he could finish speaking, his mouth was covered by several companions, and he was dragged to the back and given a severe beating.

Li Aili could see countless bubbles emerging from behind.

Are you stupid, or what?!

[I've always wanted to do role-playing with Bell, don't ruin it! You idiot!]

[Brothers! There's a traitor in our ranks! Kill him!]

Li Aili: "……………………"

Then look at the Duke, whose head is completely blank.

The ladies were all full of energy, except for one person: Judy, whose face was stiff and a blood-red bubble on the top of her head.
