Chapter 200 Illusion Potion

The matriarch Adestra suddenly stood up, startling her seven daughters so much that they took three steps back.

Miss Iglesias looked at her birth mother, Adèle, with a look of horror, as if she were looking at a deadly viper rather than her own mother.

The sight of her incompetent offspring made Adestri's eyes grow even more sinister. She said, "Iglesias, I don't want to hear the reasons, nor do I want to hear..."

A loud bang came from outside, interrupting Adeztra's words.

"I don't want to hear it either..."

"Bang! Quiet! Police Department on duty!" A voice came from outside the viewing platform, interrupting Adèle Stride's words once again.

Adèleid: "..."

She remained silent for a moment, watching the somewhat noisy life outside the platform, but the sheriff's arcane megaphone no longer emitted the shouts that annoyed her.

Adèle opened her mouth, then fell silent...

Li Aili felt that this seemingly unapproachable Drow matriarch appeared to have... forgotten her lines.

“Iglesias, you have disappointed me.” Finally, Adestri said in a cold voice.

"I won't listen to any explanations. Someone, take her away..."

"You troll ghouls! Now! Hands up and stand up, don't make me say it a third time!"

Adèleid: "..."

"Oh! Your Majesty! You kobold over there! Where are you going! Don't you understand Common Tongue?!"

Adèle's expression darkened. "Outside..."

"You idiot over there! Yes! I'm talking to you! What are you whispering about?!"

Adeztra could no longer bear it. She turned and walked to the terrace, raising her hand high like an eagle's claw, and uttered an ancient Dark Elf phrase.

Li Aili couldn't understand it, but she could vaguely sense that it was some kind of incantation.

Sure enough, as soon as the incantation was finished, a scream came from below the terrace, and the sheriff who always communicated with Madam Quesang remotely fell silent.

Li Aili recalled the dark jokes the Minotaur had told her on the road:

None of the Drow matriarchs are good people; if any are, they must be spies sent by the dark elves.

"What happened down there?" Adestri asked, her expression horrified.

The scumbag ex-lover he caught two months ago has been switched with someone else.

These past few days' burdens have all become a joke.

The thought of that scumbag Assange probably having a good time somewhere, probably laughing at her stupidity in bed with his new lover…

I'll kill you all!!!

Li Aili saw a large, thick, black and red bubble emerge from the top of the Drow Matriarch's head.

Soon, Adèle's retainers rushed up to report the situation.

“Mistress, the sheriff below is being threatened by the son of the White Dragon City Lord of the three great cities… As you know, his offspring all possess his summoning magic scrolls.”

A fleeting look of disgust crossed Adèle's face as she thought of that arrogant white dragon.

"The offspring of the White Dragon?"

Oh.

He'd better have a plausible reason.

Otherwise, tomorrow's spider sacrifice..." Adestri's eyes seemed to be filled with venom.

The retainer who came to report wiped away cold sweat. "Yes, it's because someone robbed Lord Best. The sheriff said that the passersby they questioned pointed out that the bandits ran into the arena."

Adèleid: "..."

An eerie silence fell over the private room.

One of Adestri's children couldn't help but ask, "So, after those people stole the White Dragon's offspring, they hid in the arena?"

“No, Brother Sanchir, I think they’re here to watch the final.” The young lady who answered glanced cautiously at her mother.

"Oh, that means our gladiatorial games are really famous. The bandits who robbed the big shots don't run away; they have to watch the gladiatorial games before they leave."

"Oh, how about this kind of promotion? I think the arena's revenue will increase significantly next year."

Li Aili: "..." This is a real talent!

The two whispered among themselves naturally reached the ears of the Drow matriarch.

Adestri raised her head and looked at her offspring named Sanchir. "Sanchir, don't get involved in these things. I've told you that many times."

The male drow named "Sanchir" blinked. "Sorry, Mother."

He admitted his mistake quickly, but judging from his expression, he'll do it again next time.

Li Aili noticed something different about the name "Sang Qi'er".

She quickly grabbed the Duke's hand beside her and wrote words in his palm with her finger:

Do you think this is Assange's son?!

Realizing the potential for melodrama, Li Aili perked up completely.

Then, the Duke gently tickled her palm...

Scratch! Scratch!

Li Aili: "..." I'm so angry!

The Duchess, with a cold face, grabbed the finger that was about to scratch her a third time and snapped it hard!

Li Aili: "..." Good, it didn't budge.

The Duke clearly misunderstood, and eagerly beckoned to his lover with his finger, responding to her sweet "affection".

Fingers hooked together.

Li Aili: "..."

"Send my personal guards down to capture those petty thieves and send that bastard dragon away."

The retainer received the order and was about to lead the mistress's guards to arrest the person when, unexpectedly, "BOOM—" the first loud noise occurred.

The crystal chandelier on the roof trembled.

The drow named "Sanchir" rushed forward and shielded his mother, Adestri, with his body.

The loud noise sounded like an explosion, but it came from the ordinary audience seats outside the stands.

Adèle forcefully pushed Sanchir away.

Her voice involuntarily rose, "What is it this time!?"

The minotaurs outside are starting to cause trouble.

While Leslie and Wendy's might not be reliable when it comes to causing trouble, the Minotaur will definitely not disappoint her.
