The drow elf's wrist was firmly 'clamped' by a hand.
A tall man stood in front of the drow elf, before the proud drow elf could utter a word of anger.
The man's iron-like hand gradually loosened its grip.
With a cracking sound, the drow elf's slender wrist broke.
However, before the drow elf could even let out a miserable howl...
Arthur grabbed her wrist and swung it forcefully...
The drow elf, weighing over 100 pounds, was swung 180 degrees like a rag doll, and then slammed hard onto the ground with a loud bang.
Li Aili: "!!!"
Arthur slowly released his grip.
When the dust settled back onto the ground, the drow elf's eyes had already rolled back.
With a 'clatter,' the coachman dropped his weapon in surprise.
Her eyes widened as she looked at Arthur, then at her owner 'embedded' in the ground, her expression incredibly interesting.
Clinging to her last shred of hope, Li Aili asked, "Would you believe me if I said we're really here to do business?"
groom:"……"
The coachman was so terrified that he wet himself and didn't care about saving his noble mistress. She scrambled and crawled towards the spider forest.
He ran while shouting in alarm, "Intrusion! Intruders!!"
"They attacked the candidate priest!!!"
Wendy Shane reacted quickly and took off after him.
Immediately, the screams from afar turned into, "Ahhh! Don't come any closer!!"
Li Aili walked up to the Drow candidate priest who was rolling her eyes, and only breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her body was still rising and falling.
Arthur's eyes had somehow transformed into the vertical pupils of a dragon.
He walked up to Li Aili, reached out and placed his hand on her cheek, stroking it repeatedly, as if carefully checking if she was injured.
Li Aili originally wanted to say that she wasn't stupid and wouldn't stand there waiting for a slap to fall.
But seeing Arthur's expression at that moment, he said everything.
He gave himself all his tenderness and all his love.
"Okay, I'm fine~" Li Aili gently rubbed her cheek against Arthur's palm.
A man's palms are not delicate.
The calluses on the surface are from the sword hilt.
"I don't want to interrupt you two, but now is really not the time for romance. Do you think something's wrong?"
He picked up the mushroom lamp and pointed into the distance.
The coachman and Wendy Shane were seen fleeing frantically towards them, one in front and one behind.
Panting, Wendy Shane raised her hand and gestured to Leslie.
Leslie had to squint to see his companion's gestures in the pitch-black dungeon.
"A...monster...is chasing you?"
Then, a huge 'monster' burst through the darkness, chasing Wendy Shane around like a rabbit.
Its eight legs, located on its abdomen, moved swiftly, traversing obstacles like giant rocks and dilapidated houses with ease.
Leslie's face turned green. "It's a spider-transformed drow!!!"
With the light, Wendy Shane's running speed noticeably increased.
The coachman, who was originally only a body length away from her, was immediately overtaken.
Li Aili took out a bottle of 'powerful sleeping potion'. Since she couldn't kill them, she could only put these 'little cuties' to sleep!
Li Aili handed the alchemical potion to Arthur, "Can we throw it into its mouth?"
As the giant 'spider' drew closer, the light from the campfire revealed its true form to everyone.
It was a monster with a huge spider-like body from the abdomen down, but a naked male drow elf upper body.
Li Aili: "………………"
The elf's face retained his appearance before his transformation; he was a very handsome male drow, but his forehead had six small, black bean-like eyes, just like a spider's.
Its mouth is the normal size of a drow elf's, so even if Arthur throws it with perfect accuracy, it's difficult for it to swallow the potion along with the potion bottle.
Arthur placed one hand on the hilt of his sword. "As long as you don't kill them, it's fine."
However, just as Arthur was about to cut off the spider legs of the spider-like drow, a desperate wail made him pause.
"Simon—!"
Tracy broke down in tears.
She rushed towards the giant spider-like drow, disregarding everything else.
"Danger!" Li Aili only had time to shout that one sentence.
The spider-transformed drow is running too fast.
The coachman, her eyes bloodshot, reached out her hand towards the black spider-shaped carriage parked in the open space...
Almost simultaneously, the spider raised a leg as sharp as a spear.
Tracy ran up to it.
She shoved aside Tracy's coachman and was just one step away from boarding the Spider's Carriage; she almost wept with joy.
With a "plop," the spider's foreleg pierced through the coachman's chest.
Blood spurting from her back splashed onto Tracy's face.
"Ah... Damn it... Almost..." The coachman's hand and head drooped limply.
With a casual flick of its spider legs, the coachman's corpse flew away like a rag doll.
“…Simon, my Simon, ahh…” Tracy broke down and covered her face, crying.
The spider-like drow, whom she called 'Simon,' simply tilted his head slightly, looking at Tracy, who was kneeling on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.
His eight eerie eyes blinked in unison.
Tracy struggled to her feet.
Wendy Shani quietly drew her longbow.
But Li Aili had a strong intuition that Tracy would not be in danger.
