Pushing open the hidden door, the brightly lit 'Knights' Happy Base' erupted in thunderous applause.
Pang Sen, who was initially thought to have 'cheated', was tossed into the air by the Knights.
The Cavaliers chanted Ponce's name in unison, like a group of enthusiastic fans.
"Pang Sen!"
"Pang Sen!"
...
"What...what's going on?!" Renina asked in shock, her eyes red-rimmed.
Anne, suppressing her anger, said, "What else could it be! There was no cheating at all!"
"These bastards secretly set up this bar behind our backs!"
"Ha! Once they step out that door, they'll all pretend to be breaking off all ties!"
"Damn it, once they're through this door, they're so close they could share a pair of underwear!"
Reina: "…………"
She looked at her husband, Pang Sen, in disbelief.
They talked about it yesterday.
Pang Sen said that if she withdrew from the literary society, he would never see another woman again...
Reina's mind went blank at first, and then, a small flame of anger ignited.
A single spark can start a prairie fire.
The look in Li Aili's eyes at that moment was one of utter hatred, as if she wanted to skin Pang Sen alive.
Meanwhile, Knight Pangsen was completely unaware of the situation.
He stood on the bar stage, giving a speech like a savior.
"Brothers! Hang in there for a few more days!"
"The victorious tomorrow belongs to us! The Literary Society is finished!"
"Now only George, Balk, and the Duke's wife are holding on; they no longer pose a threat to us!"
"Pang Sen! Pang Sen! Pang Sen!"
Pang Sen took a big gulp of beer.
"Starting tomorrow, I'll have successfully 'graduated'! Good luck to the rest of you brothers!"
After saying that, he jumped off the bar and left the tavern drunk.
Li Aili looked at Reina and asked, "What do you mean?"
Reina slowly forced a smile. "Of course, I'll grant his wish."
Li Aili: "..." Tsk, she used to be such a nice girl, so sweet and cute.
Look at her now, she's been forced into becoming a vengeful goddess.
...
Pang Sen returned home drunk.
It turned out that his gentle wife was not at home.
The effects of the alcohol quickly wore off, and his face turned pale. He went straight to the washroom, fetched a bucket of cold water, and poured it over his head and face.
I immediately regained consciousness.
"Sophia! Sophia!" Pang Sen shouted.
Reina's personal maid, Sophia, rushed over, "Master."
"Where's Lena? Where did Lena go?"
Sofia avoided eye contact.
Pan Sen, in a panic, drew his sword and held it to Sophia's neck, causing her to scream in terror.
"explain!"
"Madam, Madam, she left with three handsome men."
Pang Sen stood there stunned, then roared like a furious lion, "Impossible!!!!! You're lying to me!"
With a swing of the longsword, amidst the woman's screams, the surrounding furniture was smashed to pieces.
At midnight, Renina returned home with a beaming smile, her face radiating 'love at first sight'.
The living room was pitch black. She hummed a song as she was about to make her way upstairs in the dark.
As a result, the candles in the living room suddenly lit up.
Pang Sen sat on the sofa with a gloomy face.
His hair was disheveled, and he was still wearing the clothes he had worn when he went out.
The clothes were still damp.
In the candlelight, the man's dark eyes were fixed on Reina, and he asked, word by word, "Where did you go?"
Reina tilted her head slightly and sat down next to the man.
“Honey, I’ve been thinking about it again today, and I think I’m wrong.”
Pang Sen's eyelids twitched.
"I mean, maybe we should try a different way of getting along."
"I'll support you having fun outside from now on."
"You can go to those kinds of places whenever you want."
His wife's voice, like a canary eagerly escaping its cage, rang with a cheerful tone, "But please don't interfere with me, okay?"
Pang Sen's eyes were bloodshot. "You, with, who?"
Reina frowned slightly. "When you were messing around these past few days, I never pressed you for answers."
Her voice turned cold. "Pang Sen, let's talk after you've calmed down."
"Also, starting today, let's sleep in separate rooms."
Finally unable to hold back any longer, Pang Sen grabbed Reina's wrist violently, like a wolf driven mad. "I didn't mess around! I was just lying to you!"
"Tell me! Who did you just go out with! You, you..."
He just couldn't bring himself to say those words; his heart ached as if it had been riddled with holes.
Reina frowned slightly. "You're really unreasonable. You can mess around when you're out there, but when you come to me, you make up these kinds of lies."
"If you're going to do this, I'm going back to my parents' house right now."
She stood up.
Pang Sen was startled by those words.
He stood there, bewildered. "Raena, I've had too much to drink tonight. Please, don't leave me."
"Let's...let's talk properly tomorrow, okay?"
His wife didn't even glance at him before turning around and going upstairs.
A short while later, Renina entered the guest room carrying her pillow.
Pang Sen followed Renina like a large dog abandoned by its owner, looking lost and dejected, until he was coldly refused entry by the door.
He slid down to the ground and kept watch with his eyes open all night.
The next morning, he washed his face, not bothering to tidy his appearance, mounted his horse, and headed straight for the training camp.
The knights of the Cold Jade Knights were all shocked to see him in such a grotesque state.
