Chapter 146 'A Small Favor'

As O'Neal scribbled something on the parchment with a quill pen, he began to speak:

"I'm short on time, so I'll get straight to the point. If you can do me a small favor, I wouldn't mind sharing my academic research findings with you for free."

Just then, there was a knock on the door. "Master, it's me."

O'Neal: "Come in."

Jay came in carrying two steaming cups of tea.

O'Neal stared with dead fish eyes at the tea, then at Li Aili, and finally rolled his eyes.

"Get out here and deal with the mind flayer's brain right now, or I'll submit an application to the research institute to find a new apprentice!"

Upon hearing this, the young apprentice's innocent, budding romantic feelings were ruthlessly shattered into pieces.

The apprentice turned and ran away with the tea in his hand, and Wang Di awkwardly withdrew his hand that was about to take the tea.

Having scared away his apprentice, O'Neill said, "As an arcanist, I have a deep disapproval of the actions of those bandits who disguise themselves as spellcasters."

Li Aili: "Wait, who are you talking about...?"

O'Neill stared with dead fish eyes, "Besides those damn mages, are there any other bandits in this world who wear the guise of spellcasters?"

Li Aili: "..."

Wang Di happened to bend down and pick up a copy of the "Latest Arcane Goods Catalog." Seeing the long string of zeros, he was immediately shocked and exclaimed:

"By the Spirit God! Why don't you just rob it?"

Li Aili: "..."

O'Neal: "..."

O'Neal glanced at the arcane clock in the room and quickly finished speaking:

"If you could go to the Elemental Plains and persuade those idiots whose heads are full of elements to stop being 'dogs' for those damned mages."

Then I will share my academic research findings with you.

After he finished speaking, the eight 'bright stones' hovering above his head began to spin.

With a snap of his fingers, O'Neill 'threw' Li Aili and Wang Di off the floating island... It's hard to say whether the great arcane mage did it on purpose, but the two fell directly into the lake.

Fortunately, it was a shallow area near the lake.

Li Aili looked down at her half-soaked dress, then stared blankly at her bewildered brother.

"What a deep friendship."
