Chapter 53

Chapter 53

The sudden sound attracted the attention of several people. A man and a woman were walking over from a distance. The strange man was greeting them in a familiar manner.

Maori Kogoro narrowed his eyes and asked in confusion: "Who are you?"

"I forgot to introduce myself." The strange man said, "My name is Ishiki Ryosuke, and I'm a fan of Detective Mori."

Kurokawa Akiho blinked and subconsciously looked at Amuro Toru.

I almost forgot that the handsome blond guy next to me also became Kogoro Mouri's apprentice because he admired him.

Maori Kogoro smiled proudly and said, "What? You're actually my fan. Am I already that popular?"

Conan Edogawa had a frown on his face.

Please.

"But what is the tragedy that big brother just mentioned?" asked Conan Edogawa.

Ishiki Ryosuke thought for a moment and replied, "Speaking of which, it's said that ten years ago this hotel was run by a couple. One stormy night, no one knew what happened on the island, and the next day the couple were brutally murdered."

Ishiki Ryosuke paused and said with amusement, "It's said that this hotel is haunted."

"Haunted?!" Kojima Genta was shocked and broke out in a cold sweat.

Suzuki Sonoko swallowed nervously and held Mouri Ran's hand even tighter.

The woman next to Ishiki Ryosuke noticed Suzuki Sonoko's nervous look, and the corners of her mouth curled up. She patted Ishiki Ryosuke's arm and said, "Ryosuke, you scared the little girl."

"I'm really sorry," Ishiki Ryosuke apologized, his voice not a hint of apology. "But all this is true. Risa, didn't you also complain about hearing crying at night?"

"Crying?!" Suzuki Sonoko was shocked and scared, she took a breath.

Yoshida Ayumi shrank back timidly and leaned closer to Dr. Agasa: "Are you kidding?"

Kurokawa Akiho was stunned for a moment.

Amuro Toru subconsciously glanced at Kurokawa Akishige and found that the young principal's body was a little stiff.

The atmosphere in the restaurant became a little tense because of Ishiki Ryosuke's words. The Junior Detective League and Suzuki Sonoko were obviously frightened by his words.

"What?" Maori Kogoro muttered a few words: "You guys are talking about ghosts as soon as you get here."

"Sorry, sorry, I was too excited to see Detective Mori and couldn't help but say a lot." Ishiki Ryosuke apologized with a smile.

"I'm sorry to disturb your meal. Let's go, Ryosuke." said Risa Fuyukawa.

As the two turned around, Risa Fuyukawa paused and said with a smile, "But I still want to remind you, if someone knocks on the door in the middle of the night, don't open it."

After saying that, the two of them left the restaurant.

Kojima Genta swallowed in fear.

Suzuki Sonoko sensed something was amiss and puffed up her cheeks. "Are these two people trying to scare us? What's their intention?"

Mao Lilan nodded: "It really seems like it was intentional."

Maori Kogoro waved his hand nonchalantly: "This kind of thing must be fake, you little brats are too timid."

After hearing what Ishiki Ryosuke said, their original interest in going out to play after dinner was somewhat reduced, and they all looked listless.

Conan Edogawa looked at the cut newspaper in his hand and always felt that things were not simple.

It was clearly a tragedy that happened ten years ago, but someone cut out the newspaper from that time and put it in the book. Judging from the degree of damage to the newspaper, someone must have read it frequently. Could there be someone secretly paying attention to this matter?

After rushing to the hall, Okimori Ye Zi noticed the mental state of several people and was a little confused: "What happened to Yuanzi?"

Suzuki Sonoko sighed, "I originally wanted to have fun, but in the end I was told that a murder had occurred in the hotel I was staying in. No one would be happy."

"Murder?" Chong Sen Ye Zi's eyebrows moved slightly, and she asked curiously: "Has there been a murder here?"

Kojima Genta: "Just now, an older brother came over and told us that a couple died here ten years ago. He also said that this place is haunted and that you can hear crying in the middle of the night."

He rubbed his arms with his hands. "That sounds scary."

Chong Sen Ye Zi recalled the state of her stay in the past few days: "I haven't heard of it before, maybe it's fake."

When Suzuki Sonoko heard the denial from Okimori Yezi, who had stayed there a few days earlier, her expression became much better.

She breathed a sigh of relief, then became a little angry: "Sure enough, I said that guy doesn't look like a good person."

"Don't think about that anymore. There's a bonfire party on the beach tonight. Raise your hands if you want to go."

"I want to go!"

"I want to go too!" The Young Detectives raised their hands excitedly.

"Where are Mr. Kurokawa and Mr. Amuro?" asked Suzuki Sonoko.

Kurokawa Akishige was somewhat interested in the bonfire party. He nodded and said, "Okay."

Toru Amuro had no objection either.

"Great, then we'll meet in the lobby at 7pm. No one is allowed to be late."

Night falls

When the agreed time arrived, Kurokawa Akiho came out of the room.

A man was staggering towards us in the corridor, his face tightly covered by a baseball cap, and he was wearing all black clothes.

When Kurokawa Akishige passed by the man, he secretly glanced at the corner of his baseball cap.

The man covered one eye and his entire face was covered with a mask. After noticing his gaze, his eyes avoided slightly.

An idea flashed through my mind so quickly that I couldn't catch the person before he turned into a blind spot.

He lowered his eyelids, feeling that the person he had just passed by looked inexplicably familiar.

It feels like I've seen it somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it.

As Kurokawa Akiho walked into the hotel lobby where they were gathering, he heard the voice of Suzuki Sonoko.

"What? The bonfire party was cancelled because of a storm?"

Suzuki Sonoko looked at the hotel housekeeper in shock.

The hotel manager, who looked somewhat elderly, nodded and said, "For the safety of our guests, it's best not to run around until the storm is over."

"Why is this happening? I've been looking forward to this bonfire party for a long time." Suzuki Sonoko looked frustrated.

Mao Lilan: "It's okay, Sonoko, the bonfire party is not only today, we can go after the storm is over."

"That's what I said, but it's really terrible that I can't participate in anything on the first day and can only stay in the hotel." Suzuki Sonoko sighed and said weakly.

The Junior Detective Team was also powerless.

Maori Kogoro was a little depressed: "I heard that the wine at the bonfire party is free. Damn, I really want to try it!"

After hearing what Kogoro Mouri said, Conan Edogawa's eyes turned into half-moon eyes.

The point is it's free, right?

Kurokawa Akishige didn't show much emotion. He stood in front of the glass and watched the trees outside being blown to and fro by the strong wind.

He was still wondering who the person who passed by was.

[Rum.]

Kurokawa Akishige: “……?!” Why didn’t you say it just now!

[…I thought you were deliberately not recognizing him. Didn’t you say you were looking for treasure?]

Is there any direct connection between treasure hunting and rum?

The system suddenly shut down and stopped talking.

Kurokawa Akishige narrowed his eyes, the system was hiding something from him.

Dark clouds gradually replaced the sky, the sky became dark, the wind on the sea was blowing loudly, and the waves were surging wildly.

Raindrops as big as soybeans hit the glass with a pattering sound. They were so dense that they looked like pouring sea water. Soon the transparent glass was blurred by the rain.

"It's raining so heavily." Genta Kojima pressed his face against the window.

Yoshida Ayumi and Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko also looked at the rain outside: "That's what I mean."

Suzuki Sonoko looked at the heavy rain outside the window resignedly: "What bad luck."

Outside the window, there was a violent storm with lightning and thunder. The leaves were knocked down by raindrops and the thick branches were blown to and fro.

Dazzling lightning streaked across the sky, followed by a loud thunder that exploded in my ears.

"Why don't we go back to the room—"

Dr. Agasa had just started to make his proposal when a scream interrupted him before he could finish.

"ah--!!"

The eyes of several detectives present instantly became sharp, and they rushed forward at the same time.

When Edogawa Conan rushed over, he found that the person screaming was Risa Fuyukawa, whom he had met once in the afternoon.

Risa Fuyukawa sat on the ground, pointing with trembling fingers at a room with an open door.

The door of the room was open, and a person was lying on the ground. Blood had soaked through the carpet in the room, and the air was filled with the smell of blood.

Kogoro Mouri stepped forward to check the situation and shook his head solemnly.

"Xiaolan, call the police."

Ran Mouri and Sonoko Suzuki were supporting the limp Risa Fuyukawa. They nodded when they heard the voice, took out their cell phones and skillfully called the police.

"It's Mr. Ichiro Murauchi from this morning." Toru Amuro recognized the deceased.

Edogawa Conan frowned tightly, and his eyes moved slightly after noticing the deceased's twisted fingers.

As if disturbed by Risa Fuyukawa's scream, the doors of the two rooms next door opened.

Saikawa Yoshino and Shimanaka Naoto looked at the crowd gathered at Murauchi Ichiro's door in confusion.

Shimanaka Naoto hesitated: "What's wrong?"

Saikawa Yoshino walked over and looked into the room tentatively. When her eyes fell on the blood on the ground, her pupils suddenly narrowed: "Muranai?!"

Naoto Shimanaka followed closely behind and was shocked after seeing the corpses in the village.

“How could it be?!”

He wanted to rush forward, but was stopped by Amuro Toru.

Amuro Toru: "Before the police arrive, please don't go in and destroy the scene, Mr. Shimanaka."

Kurokawa Akiho stuck half of his head out from the door, looked inside a few times, and his eyes fell on the serious Edogawa Conan.

I didn't feel too surprised at all, but instead thought that it was as I expected.

"Dad, the police officer in Okinawa said that we can't sail on the sea because of the storm, and we can only wait until the rain stops tomorrow morning." Mao Lilan said worriedly.

"Damn it, then we can only block this place off temporarily. No one can approach until tomorrow morning." Kogoro Mouri felt a headache looking at the corpse.

"However, Miss Fuyukawa, please explain why you appeared in front of Mr. Murauchi's door." said Kogoro Mouri.

"Are you suspecting that I'm the murderer?!" Risa Fuyukawa collapsed and shouted.
