Chapter 43

Chapter 43

Kurokawa Akishige stood in front of the half-open iron gate: "How long have they been in there?"

"About two hours." Zhu Fu Jingguang has been guarding the iron gate to prevent anyone from entering by mistake.

"There's nothing we can do." Kurokawa Akishige sighed, "Let's go and bring them back."

"It just so happens that Mr. Amuro is very curious about this place. Let's come together." Kurokawa Akishige stood on the first step. The sunlight from deep in the tunnel shone on him, his black hair was blown slightly, and his blue eyes were blocked by shadows, carrying a strange and unpredictable aura.

"Let me show you the secrets of the amusement park."

Toru Amuro's eyes moved slightly, his purple-gray eyes were solemn, and two complex emotions were intertwined in his heart. An excitement for the unknown emanated from his inside out, but at the same time was suppressed by his reason.

"Let's go, Zero." Zhu Fujingguang patted his childhood friend's shoulder, his voice gentle and filled with silent encouragement.

Some things are useless just relying on what they say, they can only be discovered by himself.

Zhu Fushigi Jingguang had no idea how Furuya Ling survived in the dark during the years after his death. The mental torture during the undercover period was far greater than the physical torture. All emotions could only be compressed in his heart, which was no different from endless torture.

Kurokawa Akiho stood at the entrance of the paradise and the island. As he took his first step, the silent wind blew his hair. The faint light of mayflies rippled in the breeze. The lush shrubs were blooming with a few small white flowers, emitting a refreshing fragrance.

Amuro Toru surveyed the vibrant greenery around him, the midday sun shining down on him. He muttered to himself, "What is this?"

A holographic projection? No, this was all too real. It didn't look like something from a dark underground city.

Zhu Fujingguang was also a little surprised. He didn't expect the underground city to be like this.

"Falilu Island, there are so many interesting things here, Mr. Amuro, please don't get scared later." Kurokawa Akifumi tilted his head, his eyes full of interest, as if he couldn't wait to see Amuro's embarrassing look.

Those turquoise cat eyes revealed all of his inner thoughts. Amuro Toru chuckled, his interest thoroughly piqued. "That sounds interesting. I'll wait and see."

Currently, there is only one road open to the island from the amusement park. The island, which has not been visited for a long time, is easily left with traces. The green grass is trampled pitifully by messy footprints, and the bushes are tilted, as if something has run over them.

Both Toru Amuro and Kagemitsu Morofushi noticed footprints that looked clearly wrong.

The footprints on the ground were clearly divided into two groups. The first group of footprints were smaller, and the second group of footprints belonged to adult males.

The adult male's footprints stopped in front of the bushes, and then turned into a messy switchback, as if he had encountered something and had to run away.

"What did they encounter?" Zhu Fu Jingguang frowned slightly.

Kurokawa Akishi caught a glimpse of a pink object in the bushes, his face darkened, and he began to walk out of the bushes cautiously.

What a mistake. I almost forgot there was a Snotmon here.

"The footprints disappeared here." After Amuro Toru followed the footprints, he found that they had completely disappeared in front of the waterfall.

"There were no obvious traces on the shore; they didn't jump in."

Disappeared out of thin air?

Kurokawa Akiho already had a guess about what they had encountered, as the pink object was so impressive.

"Mr. Amuro, what do you think they encountered?" asked Kurokawa Akifusa.

Being asked this question suddenly, Toru Amuro paused and thought for a few seconds: "Could it be that he encountered a monster? Like a dinosaur or something like that?"

Kurokawa Akifusa pointed his fingertips and said slowly, "It's not an exaggeration to call it a monster. After all, it's a creepy thing."

Amuro Toru was stunned for a moment.

Are there really dinosaurs?

Kurokawa Akiwa walked past the huge tree where Amuro Toru's footprints disappeared. He waved to the two of them and said, "Follow me this way."

As soon as he finished speaking, Kurokawa Akiho took a step forward and stepped into the big tree.

When the trees touched his body, the originally solid trees emitted shadows, and the bright green halo spread until it completely covered Kurokawa Akishige's figure.

Toru Amuro and Keimitsu Morofushi looked at each other, then followed Akiharu Kurokawa in.

The wind from the trees penetrated his body, and his vision blurred as the scene in front of him changed. The forest that was originally filled with green plants turned into a vast plain. Not far away, there were small pocket-sized tents similar to a village. They were only as high as the knees and looked like they were made of haystacks.

The small village was filled with flowers with blue leaves, one after another. At a glance, there were hundreds of them, and the colorful roots trembled in the wind.

It's a flower I've never seen before.

Toru Amuro found Kurokawa Akiho squatting next to a bunch of flowers and greeting him.

Then one flower after another turned around, looking at Kurokawa Akishige with their round, bright eyes.

Amuro Toru was stunned: "Moved?"

Zhu Fu Jingguang nodded, he saw it too.

A group of big beasts with flowers on their heads surrounded Kurokawa Akishige, rubbing their round bodies against him enthusiastically.

"Long time no see, Mr. Principal!" The childish voice was soft and babyish.

"Where has the director been recently? Why haven't I seen you?" Another taller beast squeezed over nimbly.

"Long time no see, Higomon." Kurokawa Akishi picked up one of them and rubbed the little flower.

Amuro's purple-gray pupils shrank slightly, and he said slowly: "Did you speak?"

Even Zhu Fujingguang, who had seen many unscientific things, was a little surprised.

Higomon noticed the two people standing behind Kurokawa Akiwa and asked in confusion, "What kind of Digimon are they? I've never seen them before. They look a bit like the principal."

The identical-looking Picomon immediately surrounded Amuro Toru and Morofushi Kagemitsu, discussing among themselves, "Isn't it a Digimon?"

"It must be a Digimon."

"Then do you know what kind of Digimon they are?"

"Uh...anyway, it must be a Digimon!"

The chatter of dozens of big beasts was heard.

Toru Amuro and Kagemitsu Morofushi's bodies were slightly stiff, and they dared not move for fear of stepping on the little ones who were approaching them.

The two men's awkward expressions were so obvious that Kurokawa Akishige couldn't help but laugh out loud: "Why is Mr. Amuro so unnatural? Are you scared by them?"

He asks more questions than the taller beasts and is like a chatterbox. He is also very agile and likes to run around, squeezing in and out of the piles.

Amuro Toru steadied himself and looked up to see Kurokawa Akifusa, who was smiling cunningly. He chuckled, raised his hand to rub the Picomon that had rubbed against his leg, and said helplessly: "I give up."

On the other side, Morofushi Kagemitsu had a naturally friendly aura, and the brave Picomon looked up and asked him what type of Digimon he was.

Zhu Fujingguang didn't know how to answer.

"Alright." Kurokawa Akiwa stopped the enthusiastic Picomon: "They are not Digimon, they are humans like me."

"Eh? Not a Digimon." Several Picomon looked disappointed.

"Human?" Bigomon jumped around with curiosity.

"A human like the headmaster."

"Headmaster is a human? Isn't he a Digimon?"

Several big beasts were once again caught up in a new discussion.

Kurokawa Akishige sighed and once again interrupted the chatterboxes' discussion: "Have you ever seen four children and two adults like this before?"

He pointed to Toru Amuro and Kagemitsu Morofushi as examples.

"child?"

"Adults?"

"Human?"

The Picomon tilted their heads and looked at each other: "Have you seen it?"

"I think I've seen it before."

"Ah, I remember now." One of the Picomon jumped up. "Three children went east, and two adults followed Agumon and also went east."

Picomon thought for a moment and added, "No, it seems like two adult humans and a child."

"I remember it was in the west." said Bigomon.

"It's obviously the east!" another Bigomon retorted.

The two big beasts faced each other, neither refusing to give in.

Kurokawa Akifumi's mouth twitched as he forcibly separated the two quarreling Picomon: "Alright, stop arguing. I'm going to go to the east and take a look. If any of you see them, be sure to tell me."

"Okay~" the Bigomon said in unison.

After they walked away, the chirping sounds of the Bigomon gradually faded away, and Amuro Toru and Morofushi Kagemitsu breathed a sigh of relief.

I felt really tired from being surrounded just now.

There is a Digimon breeding garden in the east, and you can see tall buildings made of building blocks not far away from Pigomon's village.

After stepping on the ground of the cultivation paradise, the foot sank slightly, and the ground bounced the two of them like a spring bed.

"Is this a spring?" Amuro Toru asked.

Kurokawa Akifusa: "Yes, because the breeding garden is used to store Digi-Eggs, in order to prevent the Digi-Eggs from being damaged, the ground is all made of something like soft beds."

Toru Amuro originally wanted to ask what the Digital Eggs were, but after a few steps, he saw colorful eggs neatly arranged on the ground.

This is the digital egg.

As soon as he stopped, he felt a slightly warm touch at his feet. He looked down and happened to meet the eyes of a round Digimon with long ears. The pair of black eyes stared at him without blinking.

He leaned over and picked up the little Digimon that was biting his trouser leg. The little Digimon rubbed the palm of Amuro Toru's hand, then slumped over and made an incomprehensible gurgling sound.

Toru Amuro: "...Cat?"

Kurokawa Akiwa came over and looked at the little Digimon in Amuro Toru's palm: "It's Darkmon."

He couldn't help but reach out and poke the Black Ballmon who was snoring comfortably in Amuro Toru's palm. The poked Black Ballmon turned over angrily.

Kurokawa Akiho raised his eyebrows and didn't bother with the little kid.

"What is this called, Director?" Zhu Fujingguang asked.

Kurokawa Akishige turned around and saw that there was a small snow-white Digimon living in the palm of Morofushi Kagemitsu's hand.

"Snowballmon, when you grow up you will first become a dog and then a cat," he said.

Zhu Fujingguang looked at the Snowball Beast in his hand with praise: "It's amazing."

Snowballmon blinked his round eyes.

"Mr. Kurokawa, what about this one?" Amuro Toru asked, raising the little Digimon that had just climbed onto his hand slightly.

Kurokawa Akishige looked at the group of Digimon cubs surrounding Amuro Toru's feet with a complicated look: "It seems that Mr. Amuro is very popular with Digimon."

Amuro Toru looked at the little Digimon crying for food at his feet, a smile on his handsome face, unconsciously radiating charm: "It has become like this without me noticing."
