Chapter 76

Chapter 76

Song Zhiyan himself didn't expect that it would be so easy to meet the boss and even get 15 minutes of introduction time.

"Try to be brief," Xue Mi looked down at her watch, "My exercise time is almost up."

She is now wearing a light blue sportswear and her hair is tied into a ponytail. She looks just like a college student, young, beautiful and carefree.

Compared with the leisurely Xue Mi, Song Zhiyan looked much more reserved. Even his peach blossom eyes, which were always darting out, were restrained and he dared not be presumptuous.

He took out a script from his bag like a primary school student and handed it to Xue Mi with both hands: "This is the script I'm preparing to shoot recently. Please take a look at it, boss."

Xue Mi took the not-so-thick script and flipped through it casually. Sure enough, it was a low-budget comedy.

Yes, she had never thought before that the serious-looking young man with peach blossoms all over his face actually had an interest in making comedy films.

And it's a comedy that...is quite damaging to the image.

"Have the leading actors and crew been confirmed?" Xue Mi asked.

Speaking of this issue, Song Zhiyan looked even less confident: "As for the male lead... I'm going to play it myself..."

As a well-known box office poison with every movie he makes being a flop, it's no wonder that he was so weak when talking about this matter.

Xue Mi was also slightly stunned, then lowered her head to confirm the script again, and it was correct!

What would be the effect of having natural directing skills combined with box office poison... Xue Mi was actually a little curious.

But speaking of it, did Song Zhiyan act in and direct the film himself? To be honest, she couldn't remember clearly.

After all, those images flash very quickly and many details are blurry, so we can mostly only rely on guesswork.

But anyway, it's just a low-budget movie of one or two million, so there's no need to worry about it.

Xue Mi shrugged: "Good luck to you, so...are you here to ask me for additional investment this time?"

Song Zhiyan closed his legs obediently and reported: "At present, the money is enough, but I would like to ask the boss for a favor..."

This low-budget comedy film is actually quite simple in terms of content.

The story is about a hapless clerk who, in order to keep his job, is inexplicably involved in a struggle and ends up winning a great victory.

There is not too much profound core, nor is there any intention to elevate the idea to a high level. What Song Ziyan wants to make is a movie that can make people laugh.

Xue Mi, on the contrary, feels that this kind of story is much more interesting than those scripts that claim to be epic and grand in their beginning but end up being a mess.

Song Zhiyan carefully glanced at his boss's face and said, "In addition to this script, I have also come up with a joint game, and I want to trouble the Wanxiang Interactive team..."

He scratched his head and smiled embarrassedly.

If you want to make a good movie, in addition to the team and content, publicity is also a very important link.

It is true that only when you are the head of a household do you realize how expensive fuel and rice are. When he was an actor, he never had to worry about these things.

Now, Wanxiang Interactive's game platform has become a frontier that many entertainment companies are vying for. After all, in addition to "The Return of the Tired Bird", there are several movies and TV series, and even a new album that has just been released, all of which have benefited a lot from the launch of relatively popular co-branded games.

Song Zhiyan had already inquired in advance that the funds needed for such a game would probably be enough for him to make another movie. Fortunately, the boss of Xifeng Media happened to be also the boss of Wanxiang Interactive.

This is such a coincidence!

Xue Mi couldn't help but laugh: "You are much smarter than just asking for money."

Song Zhiyan scratched his head and grinned foolishly.

"I'll go ask first," Xue Mi didn't agree right away, she just said she would help ask first, "They've been very busy lately, if they really can't schedule it, there's nothing I can do."

Song Zhiyan, the clever guy, immediately chuckled: "There is still at least a year before the movie is released, we will definitely make it in time!"

It turns out this guy is waiting here!

Xue Mi waved her hand impatiently: "I know, do you have anything else to say? If not, you can get out now."

"There is indeed one more thing..." The handsome boy narrowed his peach blossom eyes again and smiled embarrassedly, "I'm looking for a filming location. I'm thinking that there are a few scenes that can be filmed in the former Kasu commercial building - now it is the headquarters of Restart Technology. I've filmed there before and the effect is quite good..."

Xue Mi couldn't help but laugh: "Not only do you have the talent to be a director, you should also be quite good at being a producer. The efficiency of your use of resources is amazing."

Song Zhiyan continued to smile shamelessly: "It's convenient not to bother two people with one thing."

Not only did it solve the publicity problem, but it also solved the venue problem, which saved a lot of money.

"Alright, alright," Xue Mi felt that she couldn't let this man talk anymore, otherwise, he would really rob her. "This is simple, you can contact Li Wanshan directly. As for the scope, time and cost of borrowing the venue, you two can discuss it between yourselves. I won't take care of it."

Having said that, after all, they are from a brother company and have been with the boss for a while, so it is very likely that Li Wanshan will not ask for too much.

Song Zhiyan is really good at calculating. If he hadn't been so unlucky before, he would have definitely made it big by now.

Xue Mi shook her head, drove away the calculating spirit, went downstairs, got into the car waiting downstairs, and went to exercise.

When she arrived at the gym and saw the boss, she suddenly remembered that Meimei seemed to have had a scandal with that wicked guy?

But that's not right. They met each other frequently during this period, and I didn't hear Meimei say that she had a boyfriend.

She and Wang Meimei have been friends for many years, so she asked her doubts casually.

"Really not," Wang Meimei has probably been asked similar questions countless times, "Song Zhiyan's brother and I have been classmates since kindergarten. We knew each other before. Later, he accidentally sprained his waist while filming a movie and came to my place for several rehabilitation treatments. Who knew those unscrupulous media would make up such a story."

She is an unmarried young woman at an advanced age, but she is surrounded by rumors about scandals everywhere. She is actually very helpless.

"Song Zhiyan is very willful and childish. He is not my type." The sunny and healthy boss Meimei said, "I prefer those with a sturdy build and who look reliable."

"By the way, we've known each other for such a long time, but you seem to have been single for a long time. Do you want to give it a try with him? Although he is not that good in character, he still has some good looks." Wang Meimei smiled with a wink.

"Of course not," Xue Mi shook her head in disdain, "I'm not interested in boys who are too smart. It's too tiring to get along with them."

Especially for rich women, people like Song Xiaoxianrou can only be subordinates and are not suitable to be lovers.

The reason why she talked about this matter with Wang Meimei was that she felt Meimei had a simple and straightforward personality, and she was worried that she would be fooled.

"Don't worry, I've seen him without pants when he was a child, so you won't be fooled." Wang Meimei laughed.

The young man who was being discussed by the two women for not wearing pants had no idea about this and was seriously bargaining with Li Wanshan, the general manager of Restart Technology.

The crew has relatively high requirements for the location for filming, so it would be best to clear the scene. However, considering the influence of light, the middle of the night when no one is around is obviously not a good choice.

Restart Technology is similar to other companies under Xue Mi's name, and there is no overtime culture at all. However, as a high-tech company with relatively complex business, it is unlikely that it will be like some enterprises and institutions where employees are cleared out at the end of the working day without any impact.

"We need at least a month to shoot this scene," Song Zhiyan was still trying to persuade Li Wanshan, "I remember there is a large atrium in the south building of the commercial building, and there are not many people there, so just lend it to me. Anyway, the boss has agreed."

Otherwise, why do people say that this guy is a master of abacus beads? He is an expert at using the tricks of pretending to be a tiger and raising big banners, without even blinking an eye.

Although Li Wanshan is a talented manager, he still has a headache facing such persistent and nagging.

"The computer room is located below the atrium of the south building. We are most afraid of noise and vibration. It is definitely not suitable."

"What about the North Building? I remember there are fewer people there, and there aren't any particularly important departments there. We can borrow that building. Oh, and the fountain has a nice view. Maybe it can be used during filming."

Rather than saying that he was borrowing the donkey to go downhill, it would be more accurate to say that this guy was waiting here on purpose.

Li Wanshan was just dumb in words, but he actually knew everything in his mind. He looked at the guy from the sister company helplessly and finally compromised: "It's a month, not a day more."

"I promise it will only take this long." Seeing that the other party had given in, Song Zhiyan immediately smiled and raised his hand to swear to the sky, "Even if it's one day longer, my movie will flop. Is that okay?"

This kind of oath is actually quite taboo for the entertainment industry that believes in metaphysics. Unfortunately, Song Zhiyan, even though he has been scolded as a box office poison countless times, still speaks without any scruples, which makes Li Wanshan unable to help but wipe away a cold sweat.

"It's not that serious..." He muttered, "That's fine, contact me after you confirm the time. There's only an old warehouse there anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem."

Finally getting rid of this troublesome male idol star, Li Wanshan took a deep breath, leaned back in his chair, and felt that the sweat on his back was about to wet his clothes.

What a difficult guy, just like a vixen! He complained in his mind.

Li Wanshan didn't check the almanac today, but if he had, there might have been an item on it: It's a good time to meet guests.

The number of visitors today was much greater than expected.

Li Wanshan had just sent away a vixen from the entertainment industry, and here came an old acquaintance.

The person who came this time was none other than his former boss who had kicked him out of his previous company and wanted to call him back to work as a favor.

However, unlike the last time they met, this leader could no longer maintain his proud and calm demeanor. He looked noticeably older than last time. The smile on his face was somewhat flattering. He walked in with small steps, his back slightly bent.

Li Wanshan did not take advantage of the situation, but politely invited his former boss to sit down and asked his assistant to bring a cup of hot tea.

The vixen in the entertainment industry just now didn’t even receive this kind of treatment.

The former boss's smile became more humble, and he addressed Li Wanshan with a respectful title - in the past, he would only show this attitude when facing the leaders of the head office.

Oh, by the way, that head office seems to have just been acquired by Restart Technology...

This acquisition has nothing to do with his personal grudges. It is mainly because the business scope of that company happens to overlap with that of Restart Technology. If the two companies join forces, they will have stronger competitiveness in related fields.

The purchase was not difficult. Although Restart Technology is still far from catching up with the most glorious days of Kasu, a lean camel is still bigger than a horse, and it would only take a matter of minutes to crush ordinary small and medium-sized enterprises.

As for other things, Li Wanshan felt that he was quite magnanimous and had long since stopped caring about them. However, he was not sure whether those people would care about them or be afraid.

Maybe he was a little scared, otherwise the newcomer who squeezed him out would not have resigned from the company in such a hurry. His former boss, who was so arrogant and never looked him in the eye, would not have put on such a timid and fawning look.

Unfortunately, it is useless to put on such an attitude. Even if we don't mention the past grudges, Li Wanshan will definitely dismiss this kind of management who has relied purely on relationships and flattery to get to the top and will only drag the company down. There is no way he will let him stay in the company and continue to be a cancer.

Of course, before officially taking over the company, he would definitely not be like some villains who, once they succeed, become arrogant and act in a disgusting manner.

On the contrary, facing this former boss, Li Wanshan displayed excellent demeanor, even making the former boss mistakenly believe that Li Wanshan was just as he had previously imagined, cowardly and easy to talk to, and could be dismissed with just a few words.

Who would have thought that this silent and unruly man would actually get hold of a golden thigh and end up putting pressure on himself!

The former boss had a timid smile on his face, but what he was thinking in his heart was that if Manniuzi could hold on to that golden thigh, so could he too. When it came to the ability to flatter, how could Li Wanshan compare to him!

Although these two people have their own thoughts, they seem to be having a good time on the surface. A young assistant who accidentally passed by actually thought that the visitor in the office was a close friend of the general manager for many years.

It was not until two days later that the assistant saw the decision to dismiss that "best friend" without hesitation in the company documents. He could only sigh that the adult world was so complicated!

While Li Wanshan was getting more and more adept at controlling Restart Technology, Song Zhiyan finally started preparing for the new movie after receiving the money.

The first thing, of course, is to put together the crew and find suitable actors.

Although this kind of low-budget comedy is considered not up to standard by many academics, it actually requires very high acting skills from the actors. Otherwise, the acting would be purely awkward, and it is even more likely to end in a car accident than the deliberately trying-to-be-cool idol dramas.

It is relatively easy to pull together a filming team, after all, they have the backing of West Wind Media. Although the thickness of the shield is indeed relatively weak, it is still quite easy to pull together a group of basically qualified behind-the-scenes staff.

The really difficult part is finding actors.

First of all, although he is a young and handsome actor who started out as a star in idol dramas, Song Zhiyan has very high standards. Those with poor acting skills are really not in his eyes.

Secondly, the budget is limited, and he certainly cannot afford to hire famous actors with good acting skills. What he is thinking of is to hire those veteran actors who do not have high pay but have been honed in countless dramas.

Anyway, comedy films don’t need handsome men and beautiful women, but the ability to make the audience laugh.

Although he had a plan in mind, when he really started to get in touch with everyone, he found that it was not that easy.

Some don't have schedules, some are afraid of being labeled box office poison, and some are simpler, they simply think the money is too little, or they think the script lacks depth and are unwilling to take the job.

After going back and forth like this for nearly a month, he finally decided on a few leading actors. It couldn't be said whether they were famous or not, but many of them were familiar faces in movies and TV shows and were gold medal supporting actors.

As for the female lead, he found an actress who specialized in comedy films, had exaggerated body language and was very funny, and he felt that she should be able to play this role.

Unfortunately, the deal was almost done and all that was left was signing the contract, but the actress suddenly changed her mind and said she didn't want to take the role.

Song Zhiyan didn't think too much about it at first, thinking that the other party had a better choice. Unexpectedly, the actress's agent vaguely hinted on the other end of the phone that the reason the actress gave up the role was because Song Zhiyan's college mentor interfered.

Not long after, the other actors who had originally agreed to the contract also changed their minds one after another. Some even spoke on behalf of the mentor, saying that if Song Zhiyan wanted to be an actor honestly, then that would be fine. But if he still wanted to make a living as a director, he had to bring gifts and apologize to the mentor. Otherwise, the mentor, who had some influence in the film industry, would make it difficult for Song Zhiyan to make any progress in his career as a director.

To this, the only reaction of the usually smooth-talking Song Zhiyan was: "Bah!"

Admit your mistake? I will never admit my mistake in this life!

Instead, when he goes to the dead old man's funeral, maybe he can bring a bottle of red wine and open it on the spot to celebrate.

Such a strong and deep hatred.

Song Zhiyan was very dissatisfied with this sudden blockade.

The country is so big, isn’t it easy to find a few actors?

Song Zhiyan originally wanted to find experienced professionals, after all, it would be easier to train and the shooting progress would be faster.

If you really can't find a professional actor, you can use the special actors and extras who are always waiting for work at the wall of the film and television city. If all else fails, you can just pick up an amateur on the street. That old man can't interfere with that.

Song Zhiyan just didn't believe it. Without Zhang the butcher, did he have to eat only hairy pigs?

This really aroused his stubborn temper. No matter what, he had to slap the old man in the face and let him know that he was no longer the stupid and ignorant college student.

In the following month, Song Zhiyan began to wander around major film and television cities wearing sunglasses, a mask and a hat. When he saw someone he liked, he would go over and chat with them, but unfortunately the results were not very obvious.

During that period, there were even rumors about a weirdo in sunglasses circulating in the film and television city. It was said that there was such a liar who was trying to trick people into making movies everywhere. There must be something wrong with him.

Hu Laogen, 78 years old this year, was originally a farmer nearby. Later, his family’s land was turned into a film and television studio. He would come here from time to time to act as an extra and earn some extra money.

Although this man used to be a farmer, he had a slim figure, a long white beard and wore a Taoist robe, giving him an air of an immortal. Relying on his unique appearance, he accidentally became a special actor - compared with extras, the salary of a special actor is much higher, and he can get a line or two from time to time. In the eyes of those extras in the film and television city who have the dream of becoming a star, he is definitely a high-end talent.

The old man himself doesn’t really understand what is high-end or not, he just thinks he earns a lot, sometimes even more than his sons and grandsons’ salaries. He is very proud of this and has a strong addiction to acting.

That day, he was sitting on a small stool, leaning against the wall, basking in the sun, waiting for the show. Suddenly, a young man dressed in shabby clothes approached him quietly and asked in a low voice: "Uncle, do you want to make a movie? Or be the protagonist of a movie?"

Hu Laogen's first reaction was to hold his pocket tightly and said very vigilantly: "Young man, I have been in this business for longer than you are. You can't fool me with this trick."

In the film and television city, from time to time, young boys and girls who are chasing their dreams are targeted by people with ulterior motives, either to defraud them of their money or their sex. Some even couldn't stand the blow and jumped off the building. The old man has seen quite a few of them over the years, but this is the first time he has seen someone trying to defraud an old man like him.

The wretched young man chuckled and said, "Don't worry, you won't have to pay for anything. I'm planning to make a low-budget movie, but I think you look suitable, so I'd like to invite you to audition."

Hu Laogen was very experienced and guessed it right away: "You are still a student, right? Are you preparing to shoot a graduation movie?"

I heard that students who graduated from reputable film and television universities have to submit graduation works when they graduate. Hu Laogen has met such students before. He feels that although they are not paid as much as ordinary crews, they are probably not as hard-working as ordinary crews.

Hu Laogen would not refuse this kind of easy way to save money.

It definitely wasn’t his graduation movie, after all, he didn’t even make it to his senior year. But Song Zhiyan didn’t want to explain too much, as long as he could get people to audition.

The 78-year-old man, except for his name, has the air of an immortal in every way. When he is shown in the camera, he really looks like an old immortal.

But this was not enough, Song Zhiyan asked the old man to walk a few steps and say a few lines.

Although Hu Laogen has not received formal acting training, he has been acting in the film and television city for nearly 20 years. He is not particularly talented, but he does not look out of place in front of the camera. Even the slightly curled white beard adds a lot of humor to this old man.

After being repeatedly assured that there was absolutely no need to pay a deposit and that he could even get a down payment first, the old man signed the contract with Song Zhiyan half-believingly and half-doubtingly, and got the first major role in the movie.

After signing the contract, Hu Laogen took the 10,000 yuan deposit and left with a smile on his face. Song Zhiyan finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Starting with this old man, his search for actors seemed to have finally hit the ground running. Currently, except for the female lead, he has found several other important roles.

There are a total of five important leading actors: the unlucky clerk played by himself, the old fortune-teller who sets up a stall on the street to tell fortunes, the manic boss who is not very smart and is incompetent and furious all day long, and another killer B.

Apart from myself, all the actors in this group are extras. The youngest is 42 and the oldest is 78. When they get together, they look like a bunch of misfits playing mahjong. Even before they start acting, it's already making people laugh.

This is indeed the effect Song Zhiyan wanted.

The only difficulty now is finding the right actress.

Under the scorching sun, Sheng Zhen was standing in the tourist area with a parasol in his hand, standing on tiptoe to watch the excitement not far away.

It seemed like they were filming a movie over there, but unfortunately I didn’t see any stars I knew, so it was uninteresting.

She is a clerk. She took advantage of the weekend to travel to the film and television city with her friends. Of course, it would be even better if she could meet some big stars by chance.

Unfortunately, the situation here seems to be a little different from what the two people imagined. A truly famous crew will usually clear the area when filming. Even if they are shooting street scenes, they will not let people gather around casually. Therefore, things like running into big stars or getting autographs are not that easy.

"How about we try being an extra?" Sheng Zhen's friend suddenly said on a whim, "I heard that being an extra is the easiest way to meet a big star. Besides, the salary is not low, and you can also earn some money for the trip back home."

It’s a rare opportunity to come to the film and television city, and I always feel like I’m missing out if I don’t experience it all.

Sheng Zhen, however, was not very interested in this proposal.

The main reason was that the sun was too strong today, and she just wanted to see the stars, not suffer.

"Let's go and see what the legendary army of extras here looks like." The friend dragged Sheng Zhen to the foot of the wall where the most extras gathered.

Unfortunately, they only realized when they got here that they couldn’t just become extras if they wanted to, they had to register, and some particularly demanding crews even required physical examination reports. In short, although they looked a loose group of people, they were actually quite organized.

Sheng Zhen's friend sighed in disappointment, but her attention was soon diverted to another film crew not far away. She looked around, trying to find a high ground to see more clearly what the filming was like.

Sheng Zhen was dying of heat and didn't have the energy to run around with his friend, so he simply found a shade under a tree, sat on a big rock next to it, fanned himself and said to his friend: "I can't walk anymore, if you want to see it, go and see it yourself, I'll wait for you here."

Just when Sheng Zhen was leaning against a tree to rest, he was inexplicably noticed by the weirdo in sunglasses, Song Zhiyan.

This girl is definitely not the pretty type. She is a little chubby, with a round face and almond eyes. She should have worn light makeup on her face, but because of the heat and sweat, most of her makeup was washed away, making her skin look even whiter and more rosy.

Song Zhiyan raised the camera in his hand and carefully looked at the girl in the camera again.

Just as I imagined, she didn't have a stunning appearance at first glance, but she was very approachable and looked very pleasing to the eye.

I just don't know how the acting is...

Song Zhiyan took the initiative to walk over and greet the girl, and asked her if she was looking for extras.

Sheng Zhen instinctively didn't want to talk to this strangely dressed person. She shook her head randomly, saying that she was just a tourist and didn't know how to act, and asked this weirdo to find someone else.

Unexpectedly, the weirdo was not discouraged at all and wanted to invite her to audition.

This scam is too old-fashioned. There is absolutely no novelty at all and it can be exposed at a glance.

Sheng Zhen looked at the masked man with disdain and turned his head away: "Sorry, I'm not interested. You should find someone else. I'm really not suitable."

At this time, her friend just slid down a low wall and accidentally alarmed the crew filming inside, and was driven away again.

With a frustrated look on her face, she dragged her camera over to Sheng Zhen's side, only to find a strange man chatting up her friend.

For a guy who looks like a pervert, the best thing to do is to run away, the farther away the better.

but……

As a veteran fan of idols, Sheng Zhen's friend suddenly had an idea. From the distinctive back of the head to the mole on the neck, everything seemed familiar...

The next second, she immediately exposed Song Zhiyan's identity: "Song Zhiyan! Why are you here? Can you sign an autograph for me? I have always been your fan!"

Even though he was dressed so tightly, his identity could be revealed at a glance. Song Zhiyan guessed that this person must be his die-hard fan.

He finally smiled, and happily took the small notebook handed over by the girl. He quickly wrote a fancy signature and was about to hand it back when he heard the girl explaining her identity to the round-faced girl:

"It was last year... No, the year before last. He played the third male lead in my favorite drama. He was very handsome. Do you remember him?"

Song Zhiyan couldn't help but reveal a reserved smile on his face.

Sheng Zhen shook his head, and the friend continued his passionate outburst: "It's the box office poison I told you about a while ago, that young actor whose movies have all failed. I've been a fan for so long, and I've never seen anyone more unlucky than him."

Thanks for the advice, I don't seem to be happy at all.

The smile on Song Zhiyan's face suddenly collapsed, and he even wanted to take back his signature and not give it to this careless little girl.

Sheng Zhen's friend suddenly realized his gaffe at this time, and turned to apologize to Song Zhiyan: "Sorry, that's not what I meant, but I think you really shouldn't film anymore, just go on stage and sing and dance, that's more suitable for you."

Although in my impression, Song Zhiyan is a bit lazy and has no coordination when dancing, but at least the stage shouldn't collapse that easily, right?

The girl's comfort was of no use at all, and instead made Song Zhiyan even more depressed.

Because of the existence of this star-chasing expert, Sheng Zhen finally lost his defensive mentality. Instead, he looked at this legendary unlucky seed and professional house collapseer with curiosity.

She really had no impression of what films this person had acted in, but she had a deep memory of the history of the house collapse because it was so funny. She could even now repeat many of the original words her friends had told her.

Anyway, he is just a handsome but extremely unlucky young man.

But why did this young actor change his career to become a director?

The two little girls were very curious and kept surrounding Song Zhiyan, chattering and asking questions.

Of course, the main target of his criticism is still his die-hard fan, who has been talking to him non-stop since they met, making Song Zhiyan unable to help but admit defeat.

"Comedy? You're directing and acting in it?" The friend's eyes lit up as he spoke. "And you chose my friend to be your heroine? What are you hesitating about? I'll definitely give it a try!"

She seemed much more excited than Sheng Zhen. After all, it was a rare opportunity to watch her idol filming a movie up close, which must be very interesting.

Sheng Zhen patted his friend who only liked to stir up trouble and said, "Don't be funny. I can't act."

She can't even relax when taking photos, let alone making movies.

"Just give it a try. It won't hurt to try," the friend urged passionately, and then turned to ask Song Zhiyan, "How much is the lead actress paid? I heard that extras get 200-300 yuan a day, this one must be more, right?"

Song Zhiyan nodded: "If it's suitable, the pay should be 200,000."

This amount of money is nothing for an actor with a little fame, but for two passers-by who are just here for tourism, two hundred thousand! This is two hundred thousand!

If she had this money, Sheng Zhen could buy a nice car, or even take a trip abroad, which would be enough for her to travel for a long time.

Just like my friend said, give it a try, it won’t cost you anything anyway.

Sheng Zhen reluctantly followed Song Zhiyan to a nearby photo studio accompanied by her friends.

But halfway through the walk, the two girls finally reacted and whispered in each other's ears: "By the way, is your idol a scumbag who likes to sleep with his fans? Or the kind of scum who specifically picks up girls on the street?"

"It shouldn't be the case... I remember he had a girlfriend who was a fitness influencer." Sheng Zhen's friend wasn't really sure. After all, this guy had been out of the spotlight for too long, and even the paparazzi were too lazy to expose any news about him.

Apart from the few remaining fans who admire his looks, Song Zhiyan is almost in a semi-retired state. The only negative news circulating in the world is that he is a box office poison.

The two girls were a little worried, but it was broad daylight and this guy probably couldn't do anything unless they wanted to.

They looked at each other, held hands, and finally arrived at the photo studio that Song Zhiyan had temporarily rented.

After entering the studio, Song Zhiyan took off his hat, sunglasses and mask, revealing his very beautiful peach blossom face.

He is indeed quite handsome - Sheng Zhen couldn't help but sigh.

Sheng Zhen’s friend curiously asked, “Are you afraid that fans will recognize you when you go out dressed like this?”

If so, this guy is somewhat overconfident - after all, even his fans have to admit that he really doesn't have many fans left now.

"How many fans do I have left?" Unexpectedly, Song Zhiyan was quite frank about his current situation. "There's nothing to worry about being recognized. I wear these mainly because the sun is too strong outside and I get tanned easily. If I don't protect myself well, it will be difficult to deal with during the official photo shoot."

This person has a good appearance, but his skin is not very good. He gets tanned easily and recovers very slowly. It takes at least half a year to restore his original skin color.

So even on sunny days, he is always so cautious, for fear that it will affect the filming.

The two girls nodded in disbelief and looked around the studio curiously.

The shed is not big and there are few things in it, just an old-looking camera, a spotlight, and a large box in the corner. Apart from that, there is nothing else.

"Let me see how you look on camera first." Song Zhiyan was a decisive man. He waved his hand and asked Sheng Zhen to stand in front of the camera and pose in a few random movements.

Sheng Zhen originally thought that there would be some grand scene in the studio, but it turned out to be as simple as taking an ID card photo, so she was not nervous. She casually waved her hand as Song Zhiyan requested and walked a few steps, feeling more relaxed than Song Zhiyan had thought.

The only problem was the lines. After all, Sheng Zhen had never received professional voice training, and his accent was a bit coquettish in dialect. But this was a comedy, and this kind of natural feeling was what was wanted. Add in a little bit of amateurishness, and Song Zhiyan felt that the effect might be better than hiring a professional actor.

It was rare to meet someone who satisfied him, so he slapped the contract on the box and said, "How about it, are you interested in playing the leading role?"
