Chapter 88 is really giving you face.

Chapter 88 is really giving you face.

Taking advantage of Fu Qinghuai's momentary daze, he swiftly slapped the blood talisman onto the other's chest.

The master-servant contract flashed red, and the deal was done.

Xie Xun let go of her hand and stood by the bed to straighten her slightly disheveled clothes.

He was indeed thinking about the coquettish Fu Qinghuai in real life, but he was even more concerned about how to use this contract to resolve this mess.

Fu Qinghuai touched the still-warm spot on his chest and suddenly sneered, "Those intimate words you were just saying, were you practicing them with him too?"

These words sounded strangely sour, like someone who had eaten a whole jar of vinegar.

However, Xie Xun ignored him completely, got out of bed, poured himself a cup of tea, and didn't say anything.

"Accepted?"

Fu Qinghuai's tone became even more sarcastic, "So you're just using me as a substitute?"

"substitute?"

Xie Xun put down his teacup, lazily raising his eyes, "You're even jealous of yourself?"

Upon hearing this, Fu Qinghuai suddenly got out of bed, strode up behind the person, grabbed him from behind, and rested his chin on Xie Xun's shoulder.

The gesture appeared intimate, yet the arm carried a force that left no room for escape.

"Yes, I was jealous."

Fu Qinghuai's voice was deep and arrogant, "When you touched my chin, were you thinking of him? When you sat on me, were you thinking of him too?"

The more he spoke, the tighter his arms tightened, almost as if he wanted to embed the person into his embrace. "Can he hold you like this right now? Can he make you feel good...?"

His current demeanor is exactly like that of Fu Qinghuai in the real world.

Xie Xun suddenly nudged Fu Qinghuai with his elbow, turned around the instant Fu Qinghuai cried out in pain, and casually pulled the belt off his military pants.

"He really can't right now."

As he spoke, he wrapped the belt around Fu Qinghuai's wrist in an ambiguous manner and pulled him toward the door, saying, "So, you need to perform even better. Now help me find Liu Wanning, and I'll take you out."

Xie Xun pulled on the leash and walked forward, an action no different from walking a dog.

Fu Qinghuai stared at the tall, slender back of the person in front of him, his eyes darkening slightly. The pain in his wrists, which had been throbbing from the belt, seemed to lessen.

Beauty truly leads people astray; lust is a double-edged sword!

The adjutant, who had been guarding the courtyard gate, was nearly speechless with astonishment at the sight.

His son was being led around by the wrist with a leather belt, but instead of getting angry, he even had a smile on his face.

Is this the pleasure of the boudoir?

This is way too...too wild!!!

He quickly lowered his head, his mind already conjuring up a dozen or twenty dramatic scenarios, each one incredibly intense.

No wonder the commander-in-chief has been so aloof to everyone all these years, it turns out he has a taste for this!

This Boss Xie looks aloof and unapproachable, but I never expected him to be so shrewd. He can even subdue a ruthless character like their commander.

"What are you looking at!"

Fu Qinghuai yelled at the dumbfounded guards around him, but turned to Xie Xun and softened his voice, "Walk slowly, your hand hurts."

"The cook has prepared the meal, Commander."

The adjutant forced himself to remain calm and seized the opportunity to say, "Wait in the restaurant."

Xie Xun gently tugged at his belt and strode forward, tightening the belt even more.

The adjutant watched helplessly as his commander was dragged and stumbled, but instead of getting angry, a hint of indulgent smile appeared in his eyes.

Oh no, oh no! The adjutant's heart pounded with fear; the Marshal's Mansion was about to undergo a major upheaval!

Xie Xun had originally planned to have Fu Qinghuai take him out to look for people now, but since he was already here, he decided to eat first.

Four dishes and a soup were already laid out on the mahogany octagonal table in the restaurant.

Steamed sea bass, braised pork, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, cold bitter melon salad, and a bowl of seaweed and egg drop soup.

Although it wasn't anything fancy, the meal was a perfect balance of meat and vegetables, steaming hot, and a welcome relief for Xie Xun, who had been frightened on the ship and then experienced Spider-Man and other adventures in the mirror.

He stared at the plate of glistening braised pork, his eyes darkening.

Although his face still had that aloof look, and even the way he held his chopsticks remained composed, Fu Qinghuai keenly sensed that his aura had softened slightly.

"Serve the rice," Xie Xun said succinctly.

Fu Qinghuai didn't say anything, but consciously picked up the bowl, filled it halfway, pushed it in front of him, and casually added a piece of braised pork with alternating layers of fat and lean meat into his bowl.

Xie Xun paused, glanced at him, said nothing, and silently continued eating.

He ate very quietly, his cheeks puffed out slightly from the food, like a little hamster, yet he still maintained that aloof and unattainable look on his face.

Fu Qinghuai found it extremely amusing and couldn't help but pick up another piece of meat and put it over, saying, "Eat slowly, no one will take it from you."

Xie Xun remained silent, but ate the meat that the man had placed on his plate.

"Try this fish,"

Fu Qinghuai then placed a piece of tender fish belly meat into his bowl, saying, "This is the chef's specialty."

Xie Xun's ears twitched, and he accepted everything without hesitation. His chopsticks quickly reached for the fish, and after picking at it several times, he turned to the braised pork and vegetables.

Looking at his obedient appearance as he ate his meal in silence, Fu Qinghuai felt inexplicably soft-hearted, and any jealousy she felt had long since vanished.

He finally understood that this beauty was using a cold face as a protective shield; she was actually very easy to coax.

"Would you like more soup?" Fu Qinghuai's voice unconsciously softened.

Finally, Xie Xun looked up at him and gave a soft "hmm".

The adjutant was utterly dumbfounded as he watched his commander eagerly scurrying off to fetch soup.

When did their commander start taking such good care of people?

And you can observe so meticulously?

Xie Xun sipped the soup that Fu Qinghuai handed him. The hot soup soothed him, and he squinted his eyes slightly.

The chef's skills were truly excellent. The braised pork was stewed until tender and flavorful, the fish was fresh and tender, and even the simplest stir-fried vegetables were cooked to perfection. It was the most satisfying meal he had eaten recently.

Since taking over the paper offering shop, he has been either drawing talismans to exorcise ghosts or dodging pursuers, and his meals are mostly just something to eat.

The meal we had in the Miao village last time was the best, but afterwards we were so afraid of being cursed that we ate with trepidation. Back at the paper shop, thankfully Jiang Le brought him roast goose rice and took him out to eat, but we still weren't quite satisfied.

Sitting quietly at the table and enjoying a hot meal like this has become a luxury.

As he was thinking this, another piece of fish, with the bones removed, was placed into the bowl.

"Focus on your meal."

Fu Qinghuai's voice interrupted his thoughts, carrying a hint of amusement, "Where have your eyes been wandering off to?"

Xie Xun looked down at the food in his bowl and suddenly realized that although this mirror spirit was annoying, it was surprisingly caring when it came to taking care of people. He silently put the fish into his mouth.

He thought to himself that if the real Fu Qinghuai were here, he would probably be pestering him for a reward by now.

Are you full?

Seeing that he had put down his chopsticks, Fu Qinghuai smiled and said, "The chef can also make desserts, would you like to try some?"

Xie Xun shook his head slightly and wiped his mouth with a napkin.

This body isn't real; eating too much actually hinders my movement.

He put down the napkin and looked at Fu Qinghuai, "We should go find someone."

Fu Qinghuai raised an eyebrow and pulled him into her arms.

"So rushed? I haven't even had enough time to be intimate with my wife, and I already have to go out to work?"

He leaned close to Xie Xun's ear and lowered his voice, "Give me a smile, and I'll take you there right now."

Upon hearing this, Xie Xun's fox-like eyes slowly curved upwards, the corners of his eyes slightly raised, and a faint smile appeared on his lips, which was captivating and incredibly beautiful.

Fu Qinghuai was stunned, his Adam's apple bobbing involuntarily.

In the instant he was distracted, Xie Xun suddenly struck him with his elbow, swiftly breaking free as he relaxed his grip in pain.

"You're really giving me too much credit."
