Chapter 485 Secret Love 25

Chapter 485 Secret Love 25

Teacher Qin sent the three of them to the car and reminded them worriedly, "Be careful and call me when you get home."

"Okay." Song Zhiyuan responded and told the driver an address.

The driver took the three of them home.

The next day, the weather was gloomy, with dark clouds hanging very low, and a cool breeze, as if a storm was coming.

Song Zhiyuan put on a thick coat over her school uniform and went out to school with Song Zhiwei and the others.

Ever since Song Zhiwei and Shen Jingmo had a fight with a group of hooligans from the vocational high school, the two have been inseparable every time they go to and from school, just like real brothers.

The two of them pushed their bicycles and walked side by side with Song Zhiyuan.

Song Zhi only chatted casually, "Sister, your birthday is next week. Do you want a birthday present?"

Song Zhiwei had been thinking about it for several days but couldn't think of what birthday gift to give his sister, so he just asked directly.

His sister had never lacked for anything since she was a child, but as for the things she liked, her sister wasn't as strong-willed as he was.

Song Zhiyuan thought about it and shook his head, "No."

Listening to their conversation between siblings, Shen Jingmo immediately grasped the key point, "Is Sister Song's birthday next week?"

"What day is Sister Song's birthday?"

"Next Friday, there are still more than ten days." Song Zhiwei answered casually.

His sister didn't have anything she particularly liked, so he had to rack his brains to think of it himself.

Walking downhill, Song Zhiwei patted the back seat and said, "Sister, get in the car and I'll take you."

"Can you do this?" Song Zhiyuan asked with a questioning look on his face.

I remember that Song Zhiwei spent a whole week learning to ride a bicycle, and he tore up three pairs of pants. Later, he often fell during practice.

Song Zhiyuan was skeptical about letting Song Zhiwei carry passengers.

"Sis, believe me, I can definitely do it. I'm a very good driver now."

Song Zhiwei added immediately after he finished speaking, "Sister, if you don't come up, you'll be late."

"It's okay to be late." Song Zhiyuan resisted and dodged to the side, getting farther and farther away from Song Zhiwei.

Shen Jingmo said gently, "Sister Song, I can take you with me. My driving skills are pretty solid. I learned it in two days."

She didn't know whether Chen Jingmo was a steady bike rider, but compared to his younger brother, Chen Jingmo was relatively reliable.

Song Zhiyuan slowly got into the back seat of Chen Jingmo's car.

Thinking of Song Zhiyuan on the bike, Shen Jingmo became extra cautious when riding. Even his hands holding the handlebars were covered with sweat, and his feet on the pedals became tense.

Song Zhiyuan grabbed Shen Jingmo's coat from behind. When she got closer, she could smell the faint scent of laundry detergent on the boy.

Normally, Shen Jingmo would ride directly over the speed bump, but he chose to go around it, for fear of knocking over the girl in the back seat.

Chen Jingmo first sent Song Zhiyuan to the high school gate, and then he and Song Zhiwei ran into the classroom as the bell rang, and hurriedly put the books on the table.

During the break after the second class, Song Zhiwei sat astride the seat in front of Shen Jingmo, resting his hands on the desk and supporting his cheeks. "Shen Jingmo, what birthday gift should I give my sister?"

"My sister likes Van Gogh, but I can't get her a Van Gogh painting.

If Shen Jingmo were you, what gift would you give? "

Song Zhiwei was really confused.

It was easy to choose a lame gift, but he wanted to give it to his sister's heart.

"As long as you choose the gift carefully, I believe Sister Song will like it." Shen Jingmo looked out the window in a daze.

"It's useless to ask you." Song Zhiwei turned back to his seat dejectedly.

Song Zhiwei was inattentive in class the whole day, thinking about picking a gift for his sister.

When school was over, Song Zhiwei was about to ask Shen Jingmo to play ball, but Shen Jingmo had already packed his schoolbag and asked, "Aren't you going to the playground today?"

"No, I have something at home that I need to go back to deal with." Shen Jingmo slung his schoolbag over his shoulder and strode out with the car keys.

Song Zhiwei threw the ball to the trash can and followed him, "What happened at your home that you need to rush here so quickly? Do you need my help?"

Shen Jingmo explained, “No, it’s just some small things.”

"So are you still coming to my house to do your homework tonight?"

"Please tell Sister Song for me that I don't have time to go over tonight." After Shen Jingmo finished speaking, his figure disappeared at the end of the corridor.

In the next few days, Shen Jingmo left directly after school every time and did not go to Song Zhiwei's house to do homework.

Time flies.

Before I knew it, it was Song Zhiyuan's birthday.

Tao Ran and Song Jin hurried back from other places the night before.

It was already late at night when the two got home.

Song Zhiyuan originally thought that her parents were too busy with work to come back, but when she woke up in the morning, her father had already prepared tomato noodles and placed them on the dining table.

A poached egg was added to the bowl.

After seeing his daughter coming downstairs, Song Jin took off his apron and hurriedly called out, "Come over here and eat the longevity noodles that Daddy made for you."

"When will Dad come back? I thought he wouldn't come back this year." At his father's urging, Song Zhiyuan washed his hands and sat at the dining table.

"I'll take a flight tonight and get home in the early morning, so I'll have just enough time to make a bowl of longevity noodles for my family." Song Jin placed the chopsticks in front of Song Zhiyuan.

Every year on Song Zhiyuan’s birthday, no matter how busy Song Jin and Tao Ran were, they would rush back to celebrate their precious daughter’s birthday. They had never forgotten it. However, they had forgotten Song Zhiwei’s birthday several times.

Song Zhiwei slid down from the armrest and sat down at the dining table. He looked around but didn't see any extra chopsticks. "Dad, where are my chopsticks?"

"Don't you have hands? Go get it yourself." Song Jin said bluntly.

"You brought all the shoes for my sister, but you didn't even take an extra pair." Song Zhiwei complained as he went to the kitchen.

"Your sister is the birthday girl today, are you one too?" Song Jin poured the gravy over Song Zhiyuan's noodles. "My dear, is that enough?"

Song Zhiwei was speechless at this answer.

"Dad, that's enough. You guys should sit down and eat together." Song Zhiyuan ate eggs while calling out to his father who was busy beside him.

"No rush, go to school after you finish eating."

Coincidentally, her birthday is also her parents’ wedding anniversary. Every year on her birthday, her parents would secretly be romantic.

Seeing this, Song Zhiyuan stopped trying to persuade them. After finishing her meal, she and her brother hurried to school, leaving them some space to be alone.

In Class 1, Grade 3, Chen Siyuan was restless the entire day, his eyes occasionally glancing diagonally across in the direction of Song Zhiyuan.

Chen Siyuan was even caught distracted by the teacher several times.

The bell for the last class rang and the students began to pack up and prepare to leave school.

Yang Qi came forward and asked with concern, "Chen Siyuan, have you encountered any problems recently? Why are you absent-minded all day? Talk to me and see if I can help you."
