Chapter 40: Go Away, Green Tea (2/2)

"Hey, Xiaohan, are you out of school?"

A female worker greeted the girl, and the girl responded with a smile.

"This is the director's daughter, so polite. I don't know where this wild girl came from. How does she look like Director Su?"

Su Ying was slightly surprised. This girl named Xiao Han was Su Jianshe's daughter?

She took a closer look at him. He had long legs and curved eyebrows, which made people want to protect him. He also had a good figure. Even in loose clothes, he still had a curvy figure. He looked to be over 18 years old. So, Su Jianshe must have been cheating on her for 18 or 19 years?

But this is unlikely. When Su Jianshe returned to the city, Su Ying was seven years old. Now she is ten years old, only thirteen years old. If they had hooked up before, it is impossible. At that time, Su Jianshe had been living in the countryside.

Su Ying's eyes froze for a moment, and she took a few steps towards Su Xiaohan and said.

"You're not Su Jianshe's biological daughter? Were you brought there by your mother? Has he always been raising her as someone else's daughter?"

Su Xiaohan had been trying her best to remain calm, but Su Ying's direct disclosure of her life story in front of everyone still made her panic.

But after all, he lived to be in his thirties in his previous life, so he was able to remain calm and composed when facing the ten-year-old Su Ying.

She smiled at Su Ying and stepped out of the crowd.

"This is a textile factory, and everyone's busy working. Please don't disturb everyone's normal work. It's almost dinner time. Come to my house for dinner. Everyone is a guest after all."

She directly avoided Su Ying's question and did not mention the affair between Su Jianshe and her mother. Instead, she gently invited Su Ying to her house for dinner.

Someone around immediately spoke up.

"Xiao Han is a sensible and kind-hearted person. This girl is so uneducated, yet she still invites her to her house for dinner."

"I think this kind of person might just be here to eat for free. I guess their family can't afford refined grains, right?"

Su Ying raised her eyebrows, looked at Su Xiaohan and sneered.

"Look, if I really went to your house for dinner, then even if I was right, I would be wrong, right? Besides, I'm used to eating whole grains, so I can't afford your fine grains."

Su Xiaohan smiled, as if she couldn't hear Su Ying's sarcasm, and still looked gentle and weak.

"They're talking nonsense. My aunts have watched me grow up and they all feel sorry for me. Don't worry about it. Come on, I'll take you back to my home to see my dad. You can tell me about any difficulties you have. My dad is a kind-hearted person and he will help you if he can."

As Su Xiaohan spoke, he went to pull Su Ying.

Su Ying pushed her away, but heard Su Xiaohan scream and fall to the ground.

"How can you push someone so casually, girl? What are you doing? Who are you trying to show off to in our factory?"

Some people saw Su Xiaohan fall and rushed over to help her. They were also filled with righteous indignation and blamed Su Ying. There were even two male workers who stood in front of Su Xiaohan and glared at her with dissatisfaction, as if they were afraid that she would do something to Su Xiaohan again.

Su Ying didn't read many novels before, but she had occasionally seen some short video clips in which the green tea female characters often used this trick. She used to think that these plots were too bloody, but she didn't expect to encounter it today.

Su Xiaohan stood up with the help of several female workers and said in a low voice.

"Everyone, please don't be like this. She didn't mean to do that. I just fell down accidentally. She must have run into some trouble, so she came to our factory to cause trouble."
