Chapter 50: The Hongmen Banquet
Doctor Yuan leaned back in his chair and looked at Deputy Director Liu with a cold look.
"Compared to the product, I also appreciate the character of my partner. Deputy Director Liu, do you understand now?"
Deputy Director Liu was even more confused. What happened to their character? He had always thought that they were acting in an upright manner, so how could their character be implicated?
Suddenly, he looked at Su Ying fiercely. If there was anyone who had a grudge against him, it should be this Su Ying. She had stood outside the factory for several hours that time and looked quite miserable.
It wasn't him who asked her to stand, and now she was using the public power to take revenge.
Su Ying was stared at by his naked eyes, and she probably understood what he was thinking. But this really had nothing to do with her. She had just met Teacher Yuan.
Deputy Director Liu calmed down and tried his best to keep a smile on his face.
"Doctor Yuan, regarding Su Ying's situation, I want to explain to you. There were some issues with the way our factory handled this matter, but that's our policy, and there's nothing we can do about it. Please don't let this matter…"
"Hmm? What?"
Deputy Director Liu was stunned. Isn't it because of this?
Dr. Yuan turned his head to look at Su Ying and asked.
"Do you know him?"
Su Ying glanced at Deputy Director Liu helplessly, and saw that he was sweating profusely, with a bitter face, and his eyes were pleading when he looked at her.
Seeing that Teacher Yuan was still looking at her, Su Ying said softly.
"Yeah, I went to look for him before."
Yuan Hongyi was stunned for a moment, and then his eyes became a little unnatural. He waved to Deputy Director Liu and said lightly.
"Please sit down first. Today I will talk about the hospital's needs and requirements, and then you can show us the products."
Deputy Director Liu sat down slowly and rubbed his hands on his pants vigorously twice. His palms were full of sweat, but he didn't chase them away, so he thought they could stay.
The person next to him came over and asked in a low voice.
"Old Liu, when did the female doctor next to Dr. Yuan come to our factory to look for a job? How come I didn't know about it?"
Deputy Director Liu had a bitter face and started sweating again when he talked about this. If he had known that he would meet Su Ying in such an occasion, he would have been more polite to her that day, and he wouldn't have made her stand outside the factory for five or six hours and almost fainted.

"It's almost noon. If there really is something going on, we should invite her to lunch and talk it out. But we must not let her get in the way."
Deputy Director Liu thought so too. It was almost noon and Doctor Yuan started to select medicines. It was also in the afternoon, so they still had a chance.
At 11:50, Dr. Yuan stood up.
"Everyone, go get some food first, and we'll continue in the afternoon."
Su Ying followed Doctor Yuan out the door, and Deputy Director Liu quickly stood up. The people from other pharmaceutical factories looked at each other, exchanged glances, and then someone came up and put his arm around his shoulder and said with a smile.
"Lao Liu, let's have dinner together. We haven't been to Jiangcheng for a long time, and we don't know if there are any restaurants nearby. You have to lead the way."
Deputy Director Liu took his hand away, feeling a little anxious.
"I don't know either. You guys can go eat by yourselves. We'll just eat in the hospital cafeteria."
Who knew the other party said immediately.
