Chapter 9 Pharmaceutical Factory Hits a Wall
The door was open, and when Su Ying was about to go in, two security guards immediately came out.
"Comrade, who are you looking for?"
After Su Ying explained her purpose, both security guards smiled.
"Looking for a job? What do you think a pharmaceutical factory is? It's a state-owned enterprise, and jobs are assigned by the government. How can you come here to find a job on your own?"
Su Ying knew it wouldn't be easy, so she tried her best to promote herself.
"Can I meet with the factory director or the HR department? I have medical knowledge and understand diseases. As far as I know, the two technicians assigned to the pharmaceutical factory today are both secondary school graduates, right?"
The two security guards' eyes widened and they looked at each other.
"Are you a college student?"
Su Ying didn't answer, but just looked at them confidently and calmly.
The expressions on their faces became serious. In their opinion, Su Ying's expression was a sign of acquiescence. Otherwise, where did her confidence come from? It must be her diploma.
"How about we go in and look for Deputy Director Liu?"
The reason they went to talk to Deputy Director Liu was mainly because he had a kind personality and didn't curse people easily. They didn't dare to disturb the other directors.
The two men discussed it, and one went in to report on Su Ying's behalf, while the other invited her into the security room.
He poured her hot water in a teacup and asked her indirectly why college students didn't wait for assignments but had to find jobs on their own.
Su Ying didn't have a diploma, and she felt a little guilty, so she avoided the question and didn't give a direct answer.
After a while, the security guard came out with a middle-aged man. The man wore a pair of glasses and a blue work suit. When he saw Su Ying, his eyes sparkled.
"Comrade, are you a college student? Which medical university did you graduate from? We are in need of technical personnel here."
Su Ying coughed lightly, shook hands briefly with the person, and explained.
"Well, I'm not a college student, but my professional skills are no worse than those of college students."
Although Su Ying's words were confident, Deputy Director Liu was still disappointed when he heard her say that she was not a college student. He looked at the security guard.
The security guard was also anxious.
"You just said that as far as you know, all the people we've hired this month are from technical secondary schools. Why do you say that since you're not a college student?"
Su Ying was in the wrong, so she apologized sincerely.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted a chance to recommend myself."
She looked at Deputy Director Liu with a solemn expression.
"I know college graduates are incredibly valuable these days, and those with the right majors are even rarer. Although I don't have a college degree, I know a lot about medicine. You might not believe me, but the factory must have professional technicians who I can talk to."
Deputy Director Liu frowned, and his enthusiasm towards Su Ying was completely gone. As for Su Ying's suggestion of communication, he felt it was unnecessary and waved at her.
"No need. What we lack here are college students with strong professional skills. No one else can do this job. You can do it."
After saying that, he glared at the two security guards and quickly walked out of the security room.
Su Ying was unwilling to give up and chased after him again.
"Deputy Director Liu, please give me a chance. I can prove to you that I'm no worse than a recent college graduate."
Deputy Director Liu was displeased with Su Ying's deception, so he simply ignored her, broke free from her, and hurried back to the factory.
The security guards also came over to stop Su Ying. Their attitude towards Su Ying at this time was not real.
