Half an hour later, Tasia returned to the villa of the Phoenix and packed her luggage.
She still owes Davin a promise.
Daven helps her meet Linda, and she helps the Crimson Adventurers to defeat the monster one last time.
Our destination is the Dragon Forest on the tenth floor.
According to Davin, the weakest of the dragon race, the earth dragon, lives there.
In the bedroom, Tasi carefully picked up a wooden house-shaped clock that was hanging on the wall and put it into her spatial ring.
She always carried with her the gifts Linda gave her.
Arriving at the door, Tasia stepped onto the red doormat and looked at the empty living room, feeling a mix of emotions.
Press the switch for the magic lamp, and with a click, the living room plunges into darkness.
Tasia returned to Red Peach City overnight and startled Davin when she arrived at Mandala Manor.
"Why are you back? Didn't Linda let you join the team?"
Tasia shook her head.
“The tenth floor,” she said succinctly.
"Sigh!" Davin sighed. "You don't have to come. Isn't this Linda's evaluation period for you? Your biggest wish is to join his team, isn't it?"
Tasia grabbed the pocket of the maid's skirt and said softly, "I feel like there's no shortage of maids there."
If Linda had remained that cold and ruthless shadow, Tasia wouldn't have thought so much.
But Linda's gentle attitude made Tasia not content with just staying by her side, especially seeing how well Lulu, Monica, and Linda got along, and even Isa and Lia from other teams...
They all kissed Linda one by one.
Tasia was deeply shocked.
She couldn't imagine that one day Lulu and the others would all become Linda's Oathtakers, while she would be just a poor maid cleaning and tidying up everyone's dirty sheets.
That kind of life must be incredibly miserable.
Even the most favored member of the original adventure team was only the one who got patted on the head more often by Linda.
There is a gap between them and the lower-level team members, but it's not that big; it's like the difference between 2 and 1.
But the current Phoenix Flower Adventure Team is a huge gap between 200 and 1.
This completely broke Tasia's spirits.
So she fled here.
On the way back to Red Peach City, Tasia's gaze would occasionally drift north, and she would turn her head to take a look.
That's the direction of White Dove City.
Tasia held a sliver of almost fantastical expectation in her heart.
"It's cold outside, come in. The snow is falling heavily. I've been having the maids clean your room."
Davin sighed again, led Tasia to the living room, and asked the servants to prepare hot water and food.
Tasia sat in the chair opposite, silent, her eyes dim, looking rather listless.
Things definitely won't go smoothly at the Phoenix Tail Flower location.
So, what exactly did Linda do to Tasia?
Davin scratched his head curiously.
This maid is beautiful and capable, so why won't Linda accept Tasia?
Davin saw Tasia's loyalty to Linda.
For the past three years, I have spent most of my time searching for Linda.
Davin couldn't help but feel a little angry at Linda.
The reason for his friendliness towards Tasia dates back three years.
Davin was saved by Tasia.
As a genius swordsman with a privileged background, Davin was never short of women from a young age. After experiencing it, he found it utterly boring, finding no fun whatsoever in slaying monsters.
When Davin met Tasia in the wilderness, it was the first time anyone had ever called him a bug and told him to get out of the way.
She has brown skin and wears a maid's dress in the wild.
Coupled with her stunningly beautiful and aloof appearance... it immediately piqued Davin's great interest.
A battle broke out between the two sides, which ended in a draw.
But then, a cunning monster hiding beneath the soil, a giant centipede in disguise, suddenly appeared.
Exhausted from his fighting spirit, Daven was caught in a fierce battle and on the verge of death when Tasia unleashed her witch form to save him. Although Tasia saved Daven because she lacked travel funds, objectively speaking, it was still Tasia who saved his life.
For this reason, Davin did everything he could to help Tasia go to Linda and fulfill the maid's wish.
At that moment, seeing Tasia's dejected look, Davin felt a pang of heartache, wanting nothing more than to grab Linda by the collar and demand: Why won't you accept it?! Accept it now! Do I have to help you out?!
Davin escorted Tasia upstairs, still seething with anger, so he went to the courtyard to practice his swordsmanship.
This practice continued until dawn.
Just then, a man riding a black flame horse and wearing a brown coat arrived at the Mandala family's manor, looking travel-worn.
...
Setting off overnight, and aided by the lightning speed of the Black Flame Horse, Linda arrived in Red Peach City in just five hours.
On the way here, snowflakes were falling and the wind was biting cold.
But the scarf woven from fire dragon silk around her neck brought a comfortable warmth.
Sometimes, a corner of the scarf would be blown by the wind and appear in front of Linda's field of vision, just in time to see the silver-haired chibi maid, blankly holding a long-handled broom.
Linda made a decision in her heart.
Mandala Manor, in front of the large black, openwork, carved iron gate.
“I know Tasia is here.”
Linda frowned as she looked at Davin, who was blocking her way.
I don't understand why the second young master of the Mandala family has become so indifferent to me.
The morning light fell on the golden sword in Davin's hand, crackling and sparking with lightning.
A short red ponytail hung down behind Davin, and beneath two strands of lobster-like bangs on his forehead were a pair of sharp eyes, staring intently at Linda.
